Dear Sandeep,
Thank you very much for your query. You cannot apply before exam as you won't be knowing the marks. Every college sets a specific benchmark for marks, hence you will be getting call from the colleges itself, so you need not worry

Dear Vivek, I understand your perspective. The courses you have done will certainly add to your academic diversity, but from your final term you need to score minimum 55% so that you are eligible to sit for the entrance exam followed by GD/PI.

The courses you have done will certainly add to your academic diversity, but from your final term you need to score minimum 55% so that you are eligible to sit for the entrance exam followed by GD/PI. As such, there is no advantage, besides being there for your knowledge, it will simply give you the foundation & boost your experience to push yourself in the next level. I wish you all the best for your career.

No. The exam is mandatory and is the primary stage of selection criteria. XAT is mandatory for XLRI.

Your chances are very high of scoring above 99 percentile in CAT/XAT and cracking the GD/PI of the IIMs or XLRI.

Being a reputed B-school, ranked under the top ten in India, there won't be any admission via the management quota in XLRI Jamshedpur, or any other top ranked B-school for that matter.

As you have very relevant under graduate specialization I suggest you should explore the MBA option seriously. Don't worry about your 12th standard marks for now. Try getting a good score in your under graduate.
