You are eligible to apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship positions with a score of 85.23 percentile in the CSIR NET exam, provided you meet other eligibility criteria. For JRF, candidates must have a Master's degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in a relevant field. There is no upper age limit for Lectureship, but the maximum age for JRF is 28 years. Moreover, you must be an Indian citizen to qualify for the exam.

The general cutoff for the Assistant Professor category is usually around the 25th percentile for OBC candidates, but your 28 percentile does not meet the required cutoffs for many institutes
