How to Check UCEED Result 2025
The results for UCEED 2025 will be released for all candidates who appear in the entrance exam.
Follow the steps given below to check your result.

- You will be redirected to a log-in window
- Enter your registered email ID and password
- Click on the “Login” button
- On successful log-in, the results will be visible on the screen

Q: Do I need to qualify Part A to be included in the UCEED 2025 merit list?
Note that the Part B answer booklet will be evaluated only if the candidate qualifies Part A. Further, only such candidates who have qualified Part A will be shortlisted and allocated a merit rank.
This means if the candidates fails to qualify Part A of UCEED 2025, they will not be issued any merit ranks. The scorecards of such candidates will merely includes Part A scores. In contrast, the screcards of shortlisted will include a merit rank, total and sectional scores. Further, all shortlisted candidates will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2025 and seat allotment.
Q: Can I download the UCEED 2025 scorecard on result day?
IIT Bombay will declare the results of the UCEED 2025 exam on March 7, 2025. However, the scorecards will be available for download only from March 10, 2025.
So, you will not be able to download the scorecard on result day.
The last date to download the scorecard is June 11, 2025.
The candidate needs to download and take a printout of the scorecard. Note that screen shots of the results will not be accepted in palce of the scorecard.
Q: When will the UCEED 2025 exam be conducted?
IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am - 12 noon). The exam will have two mandatory parts. The computer-based Part A and offline-based Part B.
The UCEED 2025 admission portal is uceed.iitb.ac.in. The portal will contain all the important updates about the UCEED 2025 exam, including information brochure, eligibility criteria, syllabus, candidate portal, and useful resources.
Among resources the candidate can download include - previous years question and answer keys.
The online application forms for UCEED 2025 are open from October 1-31, 2024. With late fees, applications will be accepted till November 8, 2024.
Q: What details will be covered in the UCEED 2025 exam analysis?
The exam analysis for the UCEED 2025 exam will be made available on this page within a few minutes of the conclusion of the entrance exam. The exam analysis will include the following elements: section-wise and overall difficulty level, types of questions, topic-wise weightage, and expected cut-off. It will also notify candidates if any technical glitches were observed during the exam.

UCEED Result 2025 Tie-Breaker
In case, two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, a tie-break policy is used for awarding UCEED ranks to candidates as mentioned below:
- A higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Part B.
- If the criterion given in (1) does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A.
- If criteria (1) and (2) do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part-A.
- If there is a tie even after this, the candidates will be assigned the same rank.
Candidates must note that securing a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission in the BDes course. Aspirants who make it to the UCEED merit list need to thereafter participate in a joint seat allocation process/counseling.

The UCEED 2025 exam will have two sections - Part A and Part B. While the syllabus has been revised for the exam, there are still some topics that overlap. For instance, Part A still continues to have the Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Observation and Design sensitivity, and a few other topics from the various edition. So, candidates can use the previous years papers to practice these topics. For the other topics, the candidate can try out sample papers.
In addition to the syllabus, IIT Bombay has also revised the UCEED 2025 exam pattern.
Part A will now have 57 questions (down from 68), while Part B will have two questions (instead of 1).
Q: Will there be a baggage counter at UCEED 2025 exam centre?
IIT Bombay usually doesn't make any arrangements like baggage counters. So, it is a good idea for candidates not be bring any unnecessary stuff with them to the exam centre. Also, if the candidate has any doubts, he or she must go through the exam-day guidelines published by exam officials to check if any special arrangements are being made. Since it is unlikely that there will be a baggage counter, the candidate can not afford to bring valuable items and leave it unattended outside the exam hall. It is because if any valuable item is lost, IIT Bombay will not take any responsibility.
Q: Will there be any biometric verification at UCEED 2025 exam centre?
Yes, there will be biometric verification at the UCEED 2025 exam centre. The biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) will be collected from the candidate before the commencement of the exam. On exam day, the candidate needs to bring with them a valid photo id proof and the admit card. Note that the photo id proof must be in the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Note that the candidate needs to report at the UCEED 2025 exam centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.

UCEED rank list is prepared based on total marks secured by candidates in the exam.
It may be noted that only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each section of the exam and minimum total marks will be included in the UCEED 2025 rank list. Q: Will IIT Bombay release any official analysis of the UCEED 2025 exam?
IIT Bombay doesn’t release any exam analysis for the UCEED exam. It simpy conducts the exam, and releases the draft and final answer keys. Consequently, no official analysis is available for the UCEED 2025 exam.

What after the UCEED 2025 Result?
After the UCEED result 2025 is declared, candidates have to take part in the counseling process. The Department of Design, IITD, is set ton introduce a B.Tech in Design program from the upcoming admission session.
It will have an intake of 20 students in the first batch. It is a 4 year program. The intake will be based on JEE advanced merit rank.
