CUSAT CAT 2020 has been cancelled by the Cochin University of Science & Technology due to COIVD-19. More details will be released in the notification later. The exam earlier was scheduled to be held on July 27 & 28.

CUSAT CAT is the abbreviated form of Cochin University of Science & Technology Common Admission Test. It is an online test conducted for admission to the courses of Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Sciences & Technology, Science, Social Sciences and Technology streams. Aspirants who had filled the application form will be eligible for participating in the admission procedure.

CUSAT CAT 2020 Exam Pattern

There will be two paper in the examination. Paper 1 will comprise the questions of Mathematics whereas Paper 2 will have the questions from Physics and Chemistry. There will be 125 questions from Mathematics, 75 questions from Physics and 50 questions from Chemistry. The examination will be conducted for 3 hours.

CUSAT CAT Marking Scheme

The total marks of the question paper will be 750 marks i.e. one question will carry three marks. The section-wise marks for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is 375 marks, 225 marks and 150 marks respectively. There is a provision of negative marking hence one marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Things to carry on CUSAT CAT 2020 New Exam Date

 Aspirants will be required CUSAT CAT 2020 admit card and a valid photo identity proof for appearing in the exam. The exam authority of Cochin University of Science & Technology will issue the admit card to the eligible aspirants only. Without admit card and photo identity proof, no aspirant can sit for the exam. The admit card will be available at www.cusat.ac.in for download. The steps to download the admit card is given below.

• CUSAT admit card will appear on the screen in PDF format
