Eligibility & Documents Required
What are the eligibility requirements?
International students are required to meet the eligibility criteria and the English language requirements for admission to the school. The eligibility criteria for master’s programmes are:
- Bachelor’s degree or academic diploma is required in a related field of study.
- English language proficiency is required, and minimum score requirements for academic master's programmes and Master of Arts are as follows:

What all documents are needed for application?
International students holding a bachelor’s degree from a college outside the Italian system must contact the Italian embassy or consulate in their country where the degree was issued in order to obtain the following:
- Declaration of Value of the bachelor’s degree (a document in Italian describing the degree awarded, used to assess the degree’s equivalency within the Italian system)
- Notarized translation, into Italian, of the bachelor’s degree
- Notarized translation, into Italian, of any academic transcripts
Students must submit the original copies of these documents to the Domus Academy International Admissions Office as soon as they are available, and no later than the course start date. Other supporting documents required for admission are:
- A copy of the bachelor’s degree/academic diploma
- CV/Resume
- Artistic and professional portfolio of projects
- Motivation letter
- Two reference letters (only for Master of Arts applicants)
- Passport copy and photographs
- Payment receipt
- Financial documents
Application & Tuition Fees
Is there any application fees?
International students applying for courses at Domus Academy must pay an application fee of EUR 100. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid online using a Visa or Mastercard credit card.
What is the fee structure of courses offered by the university?
The general tuition fee for full-time international students for postgraduate programmes is estimated to be EUR 24,900 for the academic session of 2022-2023. The fee structure for postgraduate courses varies based on the specialisation. The fees for the double-degree programmes of the school start from EUR 29,000. Non-EU students need to pay a pre-enrollment fee of EUR 3,000. This needs to be paid within 30 days of the date on the acceptance letter. Domus Academy offers various scholarships to international students to encourage academic excellence and enhance diversity.
Call for Talents Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the Master in Visual Brand Design programme at the university. A total of 5 scholarships are offered, where one scholarship covers 60%, one covers 50%, another covers 40%, and the remaining two cover 20% of the tuition fees.
Innovative Lighting Products in a Post-pandemic Era: This scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the Master in the Product Design programme at the university. A total of 5 scholarships are offered, where one scholarship covers 60%, one covers 50%, another covers 40%, and the remaining two cover 20% of the tuition fees.
You are the Next Talent Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the Master in Fashion Design programme at the university. A total of 5 scholarships are offered, where one scholarship covers 60%, one covers 50%, another covers 40%, and the remaining two cover 20% of the tuition fees.
Wellness at Work Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students enrolled in the Master in Service Design programme at the university in collaboration with Technogym. What is the application process?
Students can apply to DA directly via its online application process: naba-community.force.com/domusacademy/OLA_LoginRequestForm. You can follow the process below to fill your application:

When will I hear from the university after I submit my application?
After an applicant submits the completed application with all the necessary documents, the Admissions Office reviews it. The candidate is notified of the admission outcome through an official email within seven days of application submission. In case of a positive outcome, the applicant also receives the acceptance letter and enrolment form along with the admission decision email. The applicant must confirm their place at the institute by returning the filled enrolment form and the receipt issued against the payment of the pre-enrolment fee.
