No, JEE Main is not required for admission to BTech at KIIT School of Civil Engineering. Candidates can seek admission to the programme after qualifying for college-level KIITEE exam. The exam is valid for all the BTech specialisations offered at KIIT School of Civil Engineering.

Admission to BTech at BIT MESRA requires for candidates to appear in the JEE Main exam. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam score have to further participate in the JoSAA counselling. If the seats are left vacant after this counselling, then seat allotment for BIT Mesra is carried out through CSAB. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 75% in Class 12, from a recognised institute or board. To conclude, it is mandatory for the candidates to have valid scores of JEE Main.
