West Bengal WB HS Exam 2023: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the WBCHSE exam 2023 date. As per the announced date, next year’s West Bengal Uccha Madhyamik exam will take place from March 14 to 27. WBCHSE President Chiranjibi has announced the date for Higher Secondary, Class 12 exam for 2023. While announcing the West Bengal HS Exam 2023, the WBCHSE president has also informed that from next year, the exam will not be held in a reduced syllabus like this year. He also made it clear that the students will have to appear for the exam at different exam centres, this year exam was held in home centres only.

Meanwhile, the board has announced the WBCHSE result 2022 today at 11 am. This year, total of 7,44,655 students have enrolled for the WB HS exam. The overall pass percentage in the HS exam 2022 was 88.44%. A total of 6.36 lakh (6,36,875) students cleared the HS exam 2022. In this year’s WBCHSE result 2022, boys outperformed the girls. The pass percentage among male students is 90.19 per cent while the same for female students is recorded at 86.58 per cent.
Adisha Deb Sharma from Dinahata Soni Debi Jain High School in Chooch Behar district in north Bengal has secured the top position in the exam after scoring 498 marks 500 (99.6 per cent). Sayandeep Samanta from the West Midnapore district scored 497 marks (99.4 per cent) and secured the second position in the exam. This year, a total of 272 students made it to the merit list. The students who fail to perform well in the exam have the option to go for the scrutiny process.
