In order to appear for Board Exams 2022, it is mandatory for Class 9 and Class 11 students to register. The Board in its notice stated that only registered students from their respective schools will be allowed to appear for Classes 10, 12 board exams next year.

CBSE Annual Exam 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to commence the registration process for Class 9 and Class 11 Students from December 15, 2021, onwards. According to the latest notice released by the Board, the registration process is being conducted to get an estimate of the number of students who will be appearing for CBSE Board Exams 2023. Notice regarding CBSE Class 9 and Class 11 registration process can be checked on the official website of the Board, i.e. cbse.gov.in.

In order to appear for Board Exams 2022, it is mandatory for Class 9 and Class 11 students to register. The Board in its notice stated that only registered students from their respective schools will be allowed to appear for Classes 10, 12 board exams next year. The notice also directs schools to register themselves on the portal that has been made available for this purpose. In order to be able to register students for next year’s board exams, schools are required to get in touch with the regional offices of the Board to get their school code and password. Students can register until December 20 without late fees and until January 7, 2022, with late fees. Indian students will be required to pay registration fees of 300 INR and Class 9 applicants from abroad will have to pay 500 INR for registration and Class 11 students will pay 600 INR. A late fee of 2000 INR will be added from December 30 until January 7.

The Board has also directed schools to reach out to parents to verify details and help Class 9 and 11 students register without any errors or mistakes. Schools have been asked to convey the students' personal details to parents to get them cross-checked. This step is important as the step to edit and make corrections has been removed from this year. CBSE has said that it is solely the school's responsibility to submit the correct details.
