JEE Main April 9, 2024 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is holding the JEE Main on April 9, 2024 in two shifts. The JEE Main exam shift 1 started at 9 am and will conclude at 12 pm. Whereas shift 2 is scheduled to be held from 3 to 6 pm. As per the announced dates, NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam for session 2 on April 12 for JEE Main paper 2. 

Those appearing for the exam must adhere to the JEE Main exam guidelines for smooth conduct of the exam. This NTA has deployed flying squads, with NTA officers to keep an eye on JEE Main 2024 exam centres across the country. These teams make sure that the exam is being held smoothly and that cheating is stopped right away. 

JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Shift 2 Reporting Time 

The paper 1 JEE Mains 2024 BTech/BE exam is held in two shifts. The first shift timing is from 9 am to 12 pm, and shift 2 is from 3 to 6 pm. Check JEE Main shift 2 reporting time below:

Documents Required at JEE Main Exam Centre 2024 

Candidates are required to carry the below-mentioned items to the JEE Main 2024 April 9 exam centre: 

• JEE Main Admit Card
• Ball Point Pen
• Photograph
• Transparent Water Bottle
• Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) - PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card (with the photograph), Aadhaar enrolment number

JEE Main 2024 Day 5 Shift 2 Exam Day Guidelines 

Candidates appearing for the engineering entrance exam must follow the below-mentioned guidelines: 

• They must reach the exam centre as per the reporting time specified for the JEE Mains Session 2 exam
• They will not be allowed entry into the JEE Main 2024 exam centre after the gate closing time
• Candidates must not to carry prohibited items such as phones, study materials, or any unauthorised items inside the exam centre
• Before reaching the JEE Main exam centres, they must fill out the self-declaration form, paste their passport-sized photograph, and put the left-hand thumb impression in the provided space
• Diabetic candidates can bring sugar tablets, fruits, and clear water bottles. Packed foods like chocolates or sandwiches are not permitted
• Candidates are urged not to follow any unfair practices that may provide an unfair advantage over others
