KCET Result 2024: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the release of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) result scheduled for today, May 20, 2024. As per TOI reports, the delay, due to the ongoing second round of Pre-University Course (PUC) exams, aims to ensure fairness in the ranking procedures, which are critical for candidates pursuing Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses.

Decision to Postpone KCET 2024 Result 

The decision to postpone the results aims to ensure fairness and accuracy in the ranking process, as PUC exam scores are essential for determining ranks. This extension will give the KEA sufficient time to finalize the results and allow students to prepare for the outcome.

In a TNN report, Senior Assistant at KEA, Utham Kumar Badiger, explained the reason behind the delay, saying, "We have not released the CET results yet because of the second round of PUC exams, whose results will be counted for the ranks." "Probably in the first week of June, we'll announce the results, which will be on our website," he further added.

KCET 2024 Result in the First Week of June 

Over 3.27 lakh candidates are awaiting the announcement of KCET 2024 result.  Senior Assistant Utham Kumar Badiger confirmed that the KCET results are now expected in the first week of June. Candidates can check their KCET result online at the official website: kea.kar.nic.in. They have to use their registration number and the first five letters of name to download the Karnataka CET result.
