The University in its latest notification announced that the exam has been postponed amid the surge in positive cases and the weekend curfew that has been imposed in various part of the country to contain it.
In wake of rise in COVID-19 cases and its new variant Omicron, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has postponed the IGNOU December TEE 2021 exam. The exams were schedule to be held from January 20, 2022 to February 23, 2022. The University in its latest notification announced that the exam has been postponed amid the surge in positive cases and the weekend curfew that has been imposed in various part of the country to contain it.
"Consequent upond the outburst and infectious growth of the new variant of coronavirus; i.e. Omicron and the weekend curfews in various party of the country, the December 2021 Term-end Examination (TEE) of the Indira Gandhi National Open University, scheduled to be held from January 20 to February 23, 2022 have been postponed until further notification," IGNOU notification stated.
All those students who were about to prepare for the examination must note that the next schedule of the examinations will be published on the University's website at least 15 days prior to the commencement of examinations. Students are also advised to keep checking the University's website for examination related information and updates at frequent intervals.
Earlier, IGNOU had extended the IGNOU December TEE 2021 exam form submission deadline. Candidates can now submit the IGNOU December TEE 2021 form on or before December 30, 2021. Earlier, the last date to submit the form was December 22, 2021. All those candidates who are looking forward to appearing for the IGNOU December TEE exam can visit the official website of IGNOU; i.e. ignou.ac.in.
