The application process for CLAT 2023 counselling started on December 28, 2022, and the last date to register for the counselling process is January 12, 2023. Interested candidates must apply on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in before the deadline.

CLAT 2023 counselling is scheduled to be held between December 28, 2022, to June 20, 2023. The exam was conducted on December 18, 2022, in a pen-paper-based test mode and the result was out by December 23, 2022.

As per the rules of the Consortium, the candidates who have been invited for the counselling process through email or SMS will be eligible for registration. The CLAT 2023 counselling invitations have been sent to candidates five times the number of available seats.

Important instructions regarding CLAT 2023 counselling registration

Following are a few important instructions, the candidates must keep in mind while applying for the counselling process:

• The candidates must pay CLAT 2023 counselling registration fee of INR 30,000 for the General category and INR 20,000 for SC/ST/OBC/BC/EWS/PwD categories before the deadline. 
• The registration and payment must be done only online.
• If no seat is allotted or the counselling process is exited before June 10, 2023, the registration fee will be refunded. Later, a deduction of INR 5,000/- will be made in the refund.

The Consortium has removed the National Law University, Tripura from the CLAT 2023 counselling process as the NLU Tripura had informed the Consortium that it shall not participate in the admissions counselling process for the academic year 2023-24.
