Panjab University (PU) has released the PU BA/B Com LLB admission form at the official website - uglaw.puchd.ac.in. The admission form for the PU BA/BCom LLB (Hons) 5 years integrated course 2023 was released on May 22, 2023, and the last date to apply for admission is June 8, 2023.
Panjab University (PU) has started the PU BA/BCom LLB admission process for 2023. Candidates who have either passed or appeared for Class XII or equivalent examination, with at least 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for reserved categories, can apply for the PU BA LLB entrance exam 2023.
"The applicants who have obtained a 10+2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate after prosecuting Studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission in the Integrated Five Years Course. The applicants who have obtained 10+2 through the Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses.” As per the provision and explanation of Rule 5 (b) of the Bar Council of India Rules of Legal Education, 2008," reads the prospectus.
Last date for submission of hard copy of admission form & copies of certificates by hand or through registered post/speed post to Director, University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh-160014, for Sports Category Candidates, and for NRI Category Candidates is June 12, till 4 pm.
The merit list will be tentatively out on June 26, 2023. Dates of inviting objections regarding the tentative merit list on the basis of already filled-up information by the candidate through email only( uglaw@pu.ac.in) is scheduled between June 27 and June 28, 2023.
Display of provisional merit list on June 30, and counselling is expected to start on July 12, 2023.
