KEA may postpone the PGCET 2024 again. This is speculated as several aspirants have reached out to KEA expressing worries about UPSC CAPF exam clash on August 4. The revised date for Karnataka PGCET 2024 is also around the UG semester exams.

Karnataka PGCET Exam Date 2024

Will KEA Postpone Karnataka PGCET 2024 Again?

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) recently announced the revised dates for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 for MBA and MCA courses. The PGCET MBA/MCA exam is now scheduled for August 4, 2024, following its deferral from the original dates of July 13 and 14 due to university semester exams. Karnataka PGCET exam dates for MTech and ME courses are yet to be released.

Will KEA Postpone Karnataka PGCET 2024?

Since the release of the revised timeline for Karnataka PGCET 2024, concerns have emerged among aspirants regarding the new exam date. Many candidates pointed out the clash with the UPSC CAPF exam, which is also on August 4. Additionally, the final semester exams for several universities, including Karnataka University Dharwad (KUD), are ongoing around the new PGCET date. KUD has scheduled the 6th semester exams from July 26 to August 12, which overlaps with the PGCET schedule.

This overlap is causing significant stress among MBA aspirants in Karnataka, who find it challenging to prepare adequately for both semester exams and PGCET 2024. In light of these concerns, there is a possibility that KEA might consider changing the PGCET exam date again to avoid further inconvenience to the aspirants. KEA has yet to make an official announcement regarding any additional changes to the exam schedule. Students are advised to stay updated with official KEA notifications for the latest information.

Karnataka PGCET Admit Cards 2024 on July 27

KEA conducting the Karnataka PGCET on August 4 will issue admit cards on July 27 onwards. Candidates will have to download the admit card from the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. In case the exam date is postponed, KEA will revise the dates for issuance of Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card.

Kea should have a proper planning to conduct the exams, every year they will conduct in mid of the year which clashes with many exams instead they should have to conduct in the year starting itself then PG classes will also start on time. This is giving stress to students likes us, waiting and worry

It is, better to postponed the, exam because most of the Universities sem exams are starting and ending in August 3rd week and many other universities not yet have released timetable.
