A Primary & Pre-primary Teacher Training Course aims at training future Primary & Pre-primary Education Teachers. The course covers how to teach students, how to plan lessons and homework, lesson aids, communicating with parents etc. The course also covers child psychology, education philosophies, and how to teach according to the development stage of the child.

Admissions for PTT courses are through merit as well as entrance examinations. A minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade must be scored for successful admission. Candidates need to clear any state-level or national-level entrance and the merit list shall be declared by the institutes on the basis of which admission is given to the candidates.
