Admissions for PTT courses are through merit as well as entrance examinations. A minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent grade must be scored for successful admission. Candidates need to clear any state-level or national-level entrance and the merit list shall be declared by the institutes on the basis of which admission is given to the candidates.

Also some PTT courses available online are free of cost or marginal fee. Many certificates and Diploma courses are offered for free by the institutes in online and offline modes. The average fee to pursue a PTT courses from private institutes ranges from INR 20,000 to 1 Lacs per year. The average fee to pursue a PTT course from the public course is INR 1000 to INR 4000 per year.
