CTET 2022 Paper 2 Exam Analysis: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organising the CTET December 2022 exam from December 28, 2022 to February 07, 2023 as per the official notification. The exam is being held in over 243 exam centre cities in the online mode. According to the students' feedback, the CTET Paper 2 was moderate in terms of the overall difficulty level. There was a mixed reaction. For some students, Paper 2 was moderate, and for some of them, it was moderate to hard. Some of them found Mathematics and Science and Social Studies sections difficult.

CTET 2022 Exam Paper 2 Analysis

The CTET Paper 2 comprised 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies. Candidates were given two hours thirty minutes to attempt the paper.

The CTET exam is generally easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. The difficulty level depends on the nature of the questions asked in the exam. The CTET exam is conducted for two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper carries 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 1 mark each. Out of the total 150 marks, 90 marks are considered qualifying for the General category and 82 are considered qualifying or CTET cut-off for Reserved categories such as SC/ ST/ OBC.

CTET exam pattern is such that aspirants need to attempt 150 multiple choice questions in two and a half hours duration. Informing about CTET Paper-I pattern, the official website informs: The test items on Child Development and Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning. Q: How can I prepare for the CTET exam in 10 days?

Candidates can prepare for CTET in 10 days, given that they devote each and every minute towards the exam preparation. Firstly, understand the CTET exam pattern and syllabus well. Spend more time on topics that you are less confident with. Attempt at least two CTET question papers daily in the last one week of the exam.

The CTET is an easy exam to crack if candidates have prepared well in advance. The difficulty level of the CTET question paper is generally moderate. The CTET exam difficulty level varies on the basis of the question paper. Candidates should be well prepared in order to crack the exam without any hassle.

Q: How many students have cleared CTET 2024?

As per the CTET result 2024 of the July session, over 2 lakh candidates cleared the exam. The number of qualified and non-qualified candidates in CTET 2024 exam was available after the declaration of results. The number of qualified candidates were announced by the CBSE in the result PDF. If you need to secure a job in KVS or any central government school like DSSSB then you need to qualify CTET Exam. However, the TET exams are conducted by the state government of the particular state. Through TET, candidates can secure teaching jobs in government schools run by state governments only.

Q: Is coaching necessary for the CTET exam?

No, coaching is not necessary for cracking the CTET exam. Candidates can have their own well-thought-out CTET preparation strategy to crack the exam. Also, solving previous year CTET question papers and attempting mock tests is always a plus in preparation. Moreover, there are a lot of materials and guidance available online, you do not need a coaching but you really need to work hard to crack the CTET exam.

There are no fixed the highest marks in the CTET exam. As the exam is of a total of 150 marks, whoever obtains the highest scores will be considered as a the highest marks obtainer.
