The difference is that biotechnology studies and covers microbiology and others area of Science, but microbiology does not study biotechnology. The jobs are plenty. You may take NET for assistant professor ship or go in research sector.
Actuarial Sciences is another sector, where insurance companies require data analysts.

I would say, there is a better scope of M.Sc in Environmental Science, in private or government sector for the environments Science degree holders. You can apply for a research degree in government organization later or may find many lucrative career opportunities in India as well as abroad. Comparatively, Environmental Science will go better.

Of course, you can pursue M.Sc in nursing after completing B.Sc in nursing. In fact, many colleges would prefer a B.Sc in nursing graduate as they are already familiar with the basics.

The eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc in marine science programme at Goa University is that a candidate must have completed Bachelor of Science from Goa University or an examination of any other university recognized equivalent thereto with at least seven units of 100 marks each

It is true that CTC will be in the range of 3.5 to 4 Lacs per annum considering you are pass out from above average university in any chemical pharma, cement or FMCG industry. Gradually, your CTC will get a hike once you master your job skills as well as soft skills. My friends had pursued M.Sc. . in general chemistry and today they are drawing 45k INR inhand salary in cement industry after experience of 7 years. Initially, they were getting 18 k to 21 k. As per my experience, I would suggest M.Sc in Microbiology because it has a vast scope of anyone is really interested to do something in his or her life. To opt for M.Sc in Forensic Science, you should have secured first division in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, B.Pharma, BDS or Applied Science subjects.
