The eligibility condition for seeking admission in an IIT for a General candidate is 75% marks in 12th. There are some more criteria also. Once a student has all these criteria then he is to appear for JEE Mains first and if clearing it, then JEE Advanced. Only the score of JEE Advanced will decide the merit list for the students who will be admitted into different IITs. If you have done a B.Sc. Already it means you must have done 12th and if you have 75% in that then perhaps you would be eligible but there is a condition also as to up to what year a student should pass his 12th. I feel you may not be clearing this hurdle. To clar... View more

You have to clear the entrance test conduct by the IIT in order to get the admission there first look which IIT offers your course then get a form of the same full out the form upload it get he payment done do the test if you pass you will call for a councelling session after that you will be able to join the IIT.
There are two exams.
1st is JEE Mains and another is JEE Advanced.
After qualifying Mains, you are eligible for JEE Advanced and if you qualify Advanced, you can get admission in IIT on the basis of your rank.
Generally, crossing cut-off in JEE Mains can get you in an NIT during counselling. But that doesn't always happen. You need to perform a little more than just crossing over the cut-off. If you do well in Advanced, you will get into IIT.
No, but if you are interested in IIT's then go for it.
Don't consider one year as waste it doesn't matter before your career.
If you get selected, you will have a bright future.

Hi there. The eligibility criteria for class 12 percentage was removed earlier due to Covid 19. But the criteria is back in place now. From 2023 for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), candidates are required to score at least 75% marks in their Class 12 board exams. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum required marks are 60%. Meeting this eligibility criterion is essential to be considered for admissions to these prestigious institutes.

First of all, I am very sad to say that with such a percentage, you cannot think of getting admission for B.Sc in astrophysics. This field demands a percentage of 80% or above. If you want to fulfill your dream, please go for 12th improvement examination though its a very tough decision to take think twice what you want from yourself. If you have very strong determination regarding this prospect, please go with it. God with and you yourself will definitely help! Looking forward for your reply with your decision to guide you further. Good luck.
I keep a strong faith on you!
Hi,
Every year there has been a rank fluctuation in the counseling. An average percentile of 89-95 maybe the cut off this year around for Indian Institute of Technology (IITR) - B.Arch.
You need to opt for state counselling in which state you want to get any government college. Go through the counselling procedure. Then you will be shortlisted for the college that you can get according to your score of JEE and 12th marks. All the best.
THANK you.
Well, being a bio student you cannot opt for an IIT to study B.Tech as IIT admission is strictly on the basis of JEE scores. Though, there are colleges like:
1. SRM.
2. LPU.
3. DY Patil and some state colleges those offer B.Tech/BE biotechnology to bio students as well.
Everything is possible at Chandigarh university.
Yes, you are eligible to enroll in private colleges for the Top M.Sc. In Horticulture management quota. The top private university in India is Chandigarh University. As a result, you can enroll in and receive admission to the M.Sc. In the Horticulture programme without taking an entrance exam.
If you are having more than 60% in your 12th, then you can directly get admission without any scholarship but if you want to avail scholarship. Then, you can give LPU-NEST exam.
For hostel (4 seater), you are supposed to pay 50k for 10 months. For mess, you are supposed to pay extra but as per my opinion, don't go for mess eat in Canteen's or from KYOS.
