Diploma holders are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced), therefore, they can apply to appear in JEE Main but rank and score of such students for JEE (Main) is not declared as diploma holders cannot apply for admission in NITs and CFTIs through JEE (Main) channel.

To get admission in IITs, you need to have at least 75% in class 12th. For general category, it is 75% and for reserved categories, it is 65%. The lower grades will not make you eligible to sit for IIT-JEE Advanced.

Hello Rishabh,
There are many students who do not join any coaching institute but do complete preparation by themselves. It's tough but surely not impossible. Chalking out timetable and sticking to it are two most important issues.

Currently, there is no provision of lateral entry into IIT or NIT after Diploma in engineering.

NIT or IIT don't have B. Tech through the lateral entry you can give exam for entry in 4-year engineering, there are other good colleges like DTU and Thapar which provides lateral entry.

Just check if you are getting admission in a decent institute having good placement record, known for academics. If you are not getting any good college than you can give a try for IIT.

First of all, you have to crack JEE Mains exam where the qualified students are eligible for JEE Advanced exam and by this, you can get IIT.
Cut-off changes every year and this year, the cut-off for general category was around 125 number in JEE Advanced.

To get admission into IITs, you need to clear first JEE Mains, then you need to clear JEE Advanced. Then, based on your rank, you can get admission into IITs.

For a general category students, minimum marks required are 130+.
These marks will lead to admission in newly opened IITs that were opened in recent past years.

Yes you can get admission into IIT but you have to pass the JEE Mains and JEE advance cutoffs of IIT's to get the admission in your desired IIT college!

friend., 63% is not sufficient for IIT because he see 75% minimum. Bt u can a work, Start preparing JEE and give best score in JEE main aprox 160 above marks. OK then u can get top NITs of IIT level. just go. don't waste time.

You have to write JEE Advanced to get into IITs. With this rank, you can only get into NITs or IIITs.
You must meet the cut off marks in JEE Advanced to get into an IIT.

<p>No, you will not face any kind of difficulties or issue in the admission process.&nbsp;</p><p>To be eligible for admission to an IIT, you must pass class 12 th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subject. You must also have English as a compulsory subject.</p><p>You also must have at least 75% aggregate in PCM for General category. Then crack the JEE Exam and get into IIT.</p>
