Candidates can take the SET mock test online. To login to the SET mock test window candidates need to enter the userID and password. For the mock test the user ID will be the combination of 'SET' and the user ID created during the SET exam registration. That is, if the user ID is 123456 then the SET mock test user ID will be SET123456. The password for the mock test login will be the word 'password' but in lowercase.

Hi Jessini, Could you please clarify which exam you're referring to? Different exams have varied marking schemes and cut-off criteria for Paper 1, Paper 2, and combined scores. Once you specify the exam (like UGC NET, JEE, etc.), I can provide accurate details.Looking forward to your response!

It is recommended to start the SET preparation at least six months in advance. Students can prepare for the SET exam within six months if they out in enough effort and dedication to clearing and scoring well in the exam. The SET exam is easy to moderate in terms of the difficulty level and can be easily prepared for in six months. The syllabus of SET is not very vast but requires accuracy and speed. One also must spend time in practice sessions and mock tests to be able to master all types of SET questions - easy, moderate and tough.

Some of the ways to avoid common mistakes in the SET exam are:Students should try to develop a strategic approach by allocating specific time slots to each section during the SET preparation and give priority to the easier questions.Students should not underestimate SET mock tests.
