Generally speaking, for a GATE score of 361, the chances for M.Tech in Structural Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur would depend on one's category admission and the cut-off marks for that specific year. For a general category student the cut-off marks for Structural Engineering generally are quite high and range closer to 401 marks in the successive years. Yes the placements are decent about 30% batch does get placed . With the highest package being INR 15-20 LPA. If you're really interested in the course then only go for it. The course is really good. But the placement for the given branch is not very high. You can be placed if you have skills.
