Australia is home to 43 universities and 38 Australian universities make it to the global rankings each year. Around five Australian universities make it to the top 50 universities in the world, rest of them rank within the slabs of 100 to 1000 as per QS World Universities Rankings and THE Global Rankings. Overall, QS ranks 39 Australian Universities for its 2025 rankings, while THE ranks 37 top Australian Universities for its 2024 rankings. QS rankings for Australian Universities have also been segregated subject and graduate employability-wise. The Graduate Employability Rankings have not been updated since 2022.     • UNSW Sydney ranks at #21 for Accounting and Finance among 18 other Australian Universities.  
    • The University of Queensland ranks at #1 for its Agriculture and Forestry courses in Australia but #19 globally, recording a drop of three points from #16 ranking. Check: University of Queensland Courses & Fees 
    • For Physiology and Anatomy subjects, University of Sydney ranks #13 globally among nine other Australian universities in 2024, recording a drop of one point. 
    • Australian National University ranks globally at #8 for Anthropology and eight other Australian universities have also been ranked for this subject but below ANU. 
    • The University of Melbourne ranks #37 for its Business and Management Studies again down by three points, and also ranks for its Architecture course at #23th place, up by one point since 2023.  
    • Though UniMelb lost two places for its 2022 ranking, and ranks at #41 for Computer Science & Information course in the year 2024.
