Great place to study and work.
Tips: The weather is one thing in which you experience the change as well as the lifestyle of the people around you. Also, the language is also the barrier that these people have with the accents of here. I got the scholarship of 3500 GBP which was a great help that was availed at the time of admission. It is mentioned in the CAS letter. I am very satisfied with my course and future opportunities in the country.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transport in Cardiff is very good and timely. It has a day pass option as well, which is nice. Another great feature they have is the public transport app, which tells you which buses go where, and their departure and arrival times. As far as price goes, it's reasonable -- not too cheap, not too expensive. I think it's about 4.5 GBP per day.
Dislikes (Internships): As far as the internship part is concerned, the student union helps students get jobs, but we have to be adequately skilled. Also, the Student Future department helps students. However, this assistance is only provided because students are also supposed to eagerly look for jobs, but this assistance doesn't always come through because the opportunities are limited. Therefore, you need to be patient.

Multidimensional experience and advanced concepts.
Tips: You will feel lonely and it is hard to adjust but know that the university has a lot of services and resources to help you adjust better. Try and be more social in the first few weeks to break inhibitions and join social for the first year as much as possible. The university is known to have a good student community and it stands by it. There is something for everyone on the campus from club nights to arts and crafts events. Very buzzing campus. The city centre is vibrant and has many activities to do. It is not impossible to find part-time work in the city, but it is difficult. You need to look in the right places. You can look for opportunities on or off campus. In the city centre, there are many opportunities for casual or permanent work. Overall, I am certainly satisfied with my experiences.

Fun and filled with challenges!
Tips: Everything depends on your mindset and willingness to adjust, its not gonna be easy at all! Every course has some scholarships for international students. There will be lots of cultural shifts, they will change you as a person. I am satisfied with the course/country 7.5 on a scale of 1-10.
Likes (Post study jobs): Not many companies would want to give you a sponsored visa if you don't have work experience in the UK depending on your niche, sponsored jobs can vary from 4-6% (i.e only that % of your course strength might actually land in a sponsored job).
Dislikes (Part time work): In this economy and high rate of immigrants, finding a job part-time isn't that easy. It might take you a few months 3-6 depending on your applications and effort. You can earn about 700-800 3 per month if you work 20 hrs per week. Very manageable with studies if you're a hard worker.

Cardiff University is amazing in terms of study and student life.
Tips: The transition was very smooth, my peers and teachers were very friendly and I was able to make amazing friends. I had a scholarship for academic excellence (90% in 10th and 85% in 12th). It was a scholarship of fee education by 33000. My University caters to my every need, the faculty on my course is spectacular and Cardiff is very easy to travel in and amazing for student life.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are all very experienced, pioneers of their fields, friendly and helpful with students. There is so much to learn from them. We have office hours for doubt clarification and professors frequently reply to all your doubts by email. The teaching method is very interactive and makes the subject really interesting, the professors like using real life examples to connect us with the concept. The faculty is very diverse and they are friendly.
Dislikes (Value for money): The international fees is obviously quite a lot but you do get some very good opportunities and interact with some of the leading researchers in Physics which kind of makes it worth it. The fee is reasonable compared to other UK universities and hence provides fairly decent value for money.

The struggle is real. Not fit for freshers, come with experience.
Tips: The course was pretty basic. So I think just know how to struggle. I am not satisfied with the course and country due to bad situations. Also, housing crisis is going on. No scholarships were provided. Cultural shift is real. Please don't come if you are fresher. They charge for graduate VISA as well. Now they have increased the fee to 3000 pounds.
Likes (Student Life): Overall student life is fun. There are Bollywood parties, you can play football in the park and enjoy with your friends roaming in the UK. There are multiple events like diwali, holi for Indian students. Also, lot more things, you can play cricket, go to trips etc.
Dislikes (Value for money): No part time jobs are available. No professional jobs, as a fresher, you need 1-3 years of experience. You should not come to UK for I think the next 3 years. Also, teaching is okayish. Don't come if you are expecting salaries like USA. You have to buy graduate Visa for 3000 which is valid for 2 years. Public transportation buses are cheap, trains are costly.

University of quality education with best ethics.
Tips: You should have confidence in your choice of course. You should figure out a way to do some part time work so that you’ll be able to fulfill your needs. You should also check out things about the environment near the college/ university like discrimination etc.
Also, research the programme you want to enroll in.
Likes (Internships): Discrimination free environment with helpful folks.
Student life of university was very good as everything what student needs during their time at the university like problem solving environment, sports activities both indoor & outdoor games, library, cafeteria & other activities are provided.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I experienced best in quality of faculty.
Faculty of the university, focus on practical things more than the theory works.
The best part of faculty is that they are very helpful in nature and they suggest and guide very clearly that help students.

Open minded, understanding and student friendly university.
Tips: The course is very interesting, and I am enjoying the variety of modules that help me understand the field in and out. However, the on-campus accommodation is very expensive, very far from the university, and very small. I would highly recommend taking off-campus accommodation, either student housing or private accommodation, as they are more spacious and price-friendly. I also received a scholarship for my first year of 2000 pounds. Scholarships are available for all years of study, provided you score first class. The country is not very welcoming, the locals are racist, and the weather is always depressing. You rarely see the sun. I am satisfied with my university experience at Cardiff University.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors at Cardiff University are very nice and always willing to help students. They are approachable if you schedule an appointment in advance. However, unlike in India, where students are used to being spoon-fed every detail before an assignment, here you are expected to do your own research and then come up with your own solution. This approach helps develop critical thinking and patience, which I appreciate and find to be a unique aspect of this university. On the downside, the faculty is not very diverse; they are all white, with no black, Chinese, or Indian professors.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is very difficult to get a job in the media field as a fresher. None of the companies were willing to offer me a job unless I got a work visa. The average salary offered by the company in this field is 24,000, which is not enough at all. Many jobs for administration and part-time bartenders and waitresses are being offered, but only a few professional jobs are available. Hardly any company would give you a job for who you are as an international student. If you're extraordinarily smart and confident, you might land a few interviews. But none of the companies want to give a chance to international students.

Enriching campus life with strong academic and cultural support.
Tips: Students should familiarize themselves with the campus culture, academic expectations, and resources like study support and career services. It is also helpful to understand living costs, campus facilities, and local transportation options. Overall, I am satisfied with the university's academic standards, resources, and the range of opportunities available. The course offers practical and theoretical learning, which has been beneficial.
Likes (Safety): I rated safety as 5 due to robust campus security measures, including ID access to all buildings, which ensures that only authorized individuals enter. Additionally, the city provides extensive CCTV coverage and well-lit pathways, enhancing safety. I've had positive experiences with the campus environment and feel secure walking around at any time.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I rated 3 on permanent immigration/settlement options because, while I currently live here and find many aspects appealing, I'm still evaluating long-term factors that could impact my decision to stay permanent. I would be open to a permanent setting, but only if some facts aligned with my personal and professional goals.

NTU is a great place for international students especially for beginners with no experiences.
Tips: M.Sc. Cyber Security is a niche course and the ones who have experience in this field might find the course fairly basic. The faculty is okay, facilities are at par like all the UK universities. Book your accommodation before coming here for sure, and look for part time asap. Get onboard with agencies I've shared above and research on more to get part time work. If possible, take education from a bigger city like Glasgow since they've great part time opportunities and a better city life compared to Nottingham.
Likes (Safety): Nottingham City Council has taken appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the residents. All the buses and public transport have CCTV and generally the streets are crowded and giving students a sense of belonging and not making them feel lonely much.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are spare off campus opportunities and the on campus ones are few too. However, one can work with agencies like Hap, Constellation, Liquor Collectively, ARC, PSG, G4S, etc. To get shift based zero hour contact work. Indeed works well but I personally haven't gotten much luck here. However, with the above agencies, I've been working 20 hours/week give or take and it suffices my monthly expenses and helps in saving money as well.

Nottingham Trent is a great place to study
Tips: Nottingham Trent is a good University to attend. It is also one of the safest cities. People here are very much friendly with international students. There are various events taking place on the campus in which you will get to know and interact with many new people. Moreover, public transport over here is convenient but it is a bit expensive for all those who are daily travelers. Also, I am satisfied with my course as it exposed me to the Technical skills required. Big cultural shift, different food, different climate, different environment. I am very satisfied with the university as it is up to the mark and also with my course.

A journey to successful life.
Tips: You get to learn skills like management, finance, studying all by yourself, work-life balance, making friends, responsible behaviour, leadership skills, and work-related skills. Basically, after coming here you learn to work hard. In short, you learn to be independent through all modes.
Likes (Public transportation): The city has well connected public transport, one of the bus routes directly connects the city from within the campus, and other routes are available just outside the campus, so good transportation. Apart from this, there is a train station nearby which connects the city with the rest of the UK.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The restaurants mainly serve food which is very expensive and also do not have the same Indian spice taste as it is available in India. I prefer cooking by myself. The food available here is good but not as per Indian spice and taste, it's more towards boiled food.

The university is quite good with nice campus and teaching faculty.
Tips: There are drastic cultural differences like transport, food and most importantly the weather. There are quite a few scholarships available for foreign students to get one you have to write one sort of essay which covers all the points like why you chose this particular university and the course and you have to mention where you worked in the past.

Liberal, Student friendly and social.
Tips: It might be a bit overwhelming in the start because of the many changes. You gradually get used to it as you make friends. Big cultural shift, different weather, different food etc. Scholarships are available at NTU, but on a first come first serve basis, so you need to apply for them as soon as possible. Very satisfied with my course and university.
Likes (Indian Food): The restaurants in Nottingham are varied ranging from north and south foods to famous foods from a lot of different cities. Everyone has their own preference, personally prefer cooking at home while also eating out or getting takeaways at least once a week.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty in my department are very accessible and approachable. You can contact them through phone, email or teams. We have a fair amount of practical implementation of every module studied with a report deliverable at the end assessing the understanding of students.

Welcoming and energetic University
Tips: I have witnessed a multi-culture here in Nottingham, which was overwhelming for a bit but there wasn't much change for me as I have resided in multiple nations before. I have received a scholarship and was fortunate enough to gain distinction as well. I am 100% satisfied with what I have gained from my University.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are a lot of opportunities in this place, as there are a couple of universities which have the best outcomes for students. So the scope of getting a job and setting is more inclined towards the positive side of it rather than the negative side. And I have secured a job so my experience has been great.
Dislikes (Public transportation): I haven't used public transport much, I rarely used to travel out, so I am not very familiar how the actual frequency of transportation is. However, to the extent I have travelled, it was not bad. And there were buses even late at night and it felt safe to travel.

An experience of lifetime.
Tips: The university is very beautiful and lively. There are various events taking place in various areas of campus. They provide various facilities as well. The professors are very helpful and supportive. You get to participate in various events every week and make new friends.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is quite easy and convenient especially if you live a bit far from the city. Although it gets quite expensive if you have to travel every day but if you work part-time, it's manageable. There are specific timing and routes you can look for while traveling. This especially helps if you're a newbie in the city.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There aren't many opportunities for placements as the number of students is increasing. Also, another reason might be the recent recession due to covid. The university doesn't help students in every aspect even if they take their sandwich year.

My happy place. Nottingham is one of the safest cities.
Tips: Be ready for the submissions. Don't wait for the last minute rush. The teaching method is totally different here. They do 3 weeks of studies and 1 week of assessment. My course has 7 modules and each module has a written exam as well as a report. Make sure that you do not mess with plagiarism. They are pretty strict with this thing.
Likes (Safety): Nottingham is one of the safest cities. We have police everywhere and the people are friendly as well. Avoid going to shady places at night and try not to interact with any homeless person at night, otherwise it is safe. I have been out till 5-6 AM in the morning.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The British food is pathetic and you are going to crave for the Indian food. You will get all the masala though the food won't taste the same as it does in India. Avoid McDonald and KFC as they are not good here. You will always have to cook by yourself. Indian restaurants are there but they will not be healthy for you on a daily basis.
