Perfect ground for success.
Tips: The transition I experienced is that you have to be quite independent and motivate yourself to be a multi-tasker. In terms of scholarships, I did not avail any. I am quite satisfied with the university as they offer not only academic excellence but also engage us with the industry and extracurricular activities. In terms of the country, it is a beautiful place and very peaceful so anyone coming here will love it.
Likes (Post study jobs): There will be many companies visiting your campus offering you jobs like EY, Pwc, etc. So if you avail opportunities with them timely they will give you sponsorship. Job roles relating to audit, strategy, and sales associate are offered if you are doing a business related course and the average salary is 30000-40000 euros.
Dislikes (Part time work): Plenty of part-time jobs are available on campus if you apply on time. The students are only allowed to work 20 hours per week at a part time so along with academics it is easily manageable. The average payout is good as every employer gives you the basic minimum pay.

Dublin City University has a strong curriculum and highly knowledgeable faculty.
Tips: Students should have a strong background in what they want to do after graduation. Without any experience in your chosen field, it's difficult to get a job here, especially for undergrad students. Also, students should develop some knowledge of programming, as the staff here doesn't go into enough detail before assigning assignments or dissertations. The campus is clean and has everything a student needs for their studies and activities. The teaching faculty is average, and you'll find all types of professors here. Some will be supportive, while others may not care. Overall, it's a fantastic campus that provides a variety of opportunities to help students expand their horizons.
Dislikes (Safety): I came to Ireland from another country. When I got here, I was accosted by a group of children who tried to steal my headphones. I was surprised and upset by their behaviour. I tried to reason with them, but they were intent on taking my headphones. I called the police, but they refused to do anything because the children were minors.

DCU is good and I would recommend it to others.
Tips: It's a great school in a beautiful country with wonderful people. Students should know that it is important to learn about the ranking of the university and see if you're eligible for any scholarships at the initial stage after you receive your seat. Also, keep in mind that exploring the city during your course may be limited due to budget constraints.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at DCU are both helpful and approved making the academic experience more engaging and enriching. From the very beginning, professors are super helpful and committed to ensuring that students adapt well to the new academic environment. Initially, catching up can be quite challenging especially for those familiar teaching methods compare to back home. However, as time pass by, the process becomes more adaptable and manageable with the support of the faculty. Professors at DCU encourage us to participate actively in discussions and, collaboration and inclusive teaching atmosphere. The open discussions between professors and students are particularly engaging and interesting allowing us to exchange diverse perceptive. Faculty members bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, which they share enthusiastically, inspiring students to think critically and be innovative. One of the most remarkable aspects of the faculty is their openness and accessibility. Whether it is during lectures, office hours or through emails, they are always willing to assist during working hours and provide guidance on assignments and projects. Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are limited, and the competition for the available positions is fierce. Off-campus employment opportunities are somewhat better, but it can take a while to find a suitable position. Personally, I have been able to manage my part-time work and studies, but I have less time for myself. The minimum wage here is 12.5.

Dublin City University has a fun campus and the student life here is amazing.
Tips: Dublin City University (DCU) is perfect for someone looking to pursue greater heights academically and in other fields like sports. They maintain an excellent standard for themselves. So far in my time at DCU, they have offered the best college experience compared to my previous University.
Likes (Student Life): My current campus offers many facilities that my previous university didn't, such as a pharmacy, a supermarket, designed space to eat, and a proper canteen. Additionally, we're kept well-informed about various events and activities through their engaging Instagram pages.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food available here is either overpriced or lacks authenticity, leaving me disappointed. Given the high cost and poor quality, I've realized that I could easily prepare the same dishes at home. Not only would it be more affordable, but it would also taste better.

Tips: Students should be aware that student life in Ireland is very different from that in India. While life here is amazing, students must be prepared to work hard to achieve a good life after graduation. The student life here is amazing. Students and teachers are really friendly and helpful with coursework. The lectures are amazing and I love the student life here. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the experiences.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are part-time opportunities, but most of them are already taken and the job postings are just for name sake and there are no proper responses from anyone. Everything happens with reference here and it is a bit difficult to get into so we have to try hard.

My experience at DCU was good, but I think the university could do more to help it.
Tips: Students should know that the transition will be heard as they move away from the safety of their home. The course has mostly Indians though, as I expected more diversity there. I got a scholarship of 2000 Euros for my course fee. The college can be rated as above average after TCD and UCD here in Dublin. It is a nice university, but the faculty could have been better, as a lot of new first-time professors in this January intake were here. Nonetheless, a lot of hard work and self-study are needed.

Good experience but a bad market with limited job.
Tips: At least have 2 years of experience otherwise, get some experience and come aboard. To get a scholarship you've to be an early applicant. It is completely random. Don't be shy to talk or ask questions. No one is going to judge you. People in the college are more friendly and make you feel more comfortable.
Likes (Part time work): Yow will land any part-time job. Visit directly to the place and talk to the manager about any available vacancy. This will increase your chance of landing a job. Don't apply online for a part-time job and wait for a reply. It never going to work like that.
Dislikes (Internships): There are no internship opportunities in Ireland. Here they prefer a graduate role. It's very rare to get an internship opportunity in Ireland. Since companies prefer a graduate role over an internship. It's limited in Ireland, as the majority of businesses focus on graduate employment.

Tips: Students should be aware of their program's prerequisites and the registration procedure when they attend DCU. Attend the campus resources orientation and seek assistance from student services. Keep track of your assignments and due dates. Join organizations and groups to get a well-rounded experience. If you don't reside on campus, schedule your commute.
Likes (Public transportation): Direct Bus: A direct bus service that connects DCU and Palmerstown may not exist. Dublin Bus, however, has several routes that can get you there. For instance, you might have to ride the bus from DCU to the city centre, where you'll need to change to another one that goes to Palmerstown. Routes: The 25, 66, and 67 are frequently used routes in the Palmerstown region. For comprehensive route information and real-time updates, visit the Dublin Bus website.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Like if you get a job then you will have to renew your stamp to 1G and from stamp 2 which is a student visa. After that if you get a job then you can get a critical skills visa that is stamp 1 directly after living for 2 years u are eligible for stamp 4.

Easy going, friendly environment with a big campus and a huge library.
Tips: Before joining this college students should check for scholarships. The people here are friendly and the professors are fantastic to work with. The course was kind of challenging but you get guidance from professors. It's a really small country and everyone knows each other moreover most of the people are friendly.
Likes (Student Life): The student union, fun events and there are Nubar to the hill as well. There are three different campuses and if you have a DCU ID you can stroll around during free time. Glasnevin campus is huge one St. Patrick's campus is the smallest. They do have cultural events too.
Dislikes (Internships): Not really, internships are pretty tough to get. I did not find any internships related to my course and as I have a good experience I focused more on getting a full time job. But if you can try your luck on LinkedIn to find internships or apprenticeships.

My experience at Dublin City University was wonderful and memorable.
Tips: Students should have some background knowledge about the course and how the job market is for those roles. I got a scholarship of 4000 based on my previous academic scores.
I did my master's completely online as I was in the Covid batch, for which I felt the fee was a bit high. The quality of teaching is very good and I’d recommend it to anybody.
Likes (Post study jobs): I got my job based on my previous experience. However, studying at this university was also an add-on advantage to getting a job. I have worked in two companies after graduation, both sponsored visas for work.
I working in automation testing and my salary was between 35-40k during the first year.
Dislikes (Safety): I have heard from my friends who live in that area that the locality is not very safe. Teenagers bully people and steal from them. I’ve also heard the neighbourhood is very quiet and some students find it difficult to walk alone at times.
Other than that the student accommodation is safe and friendly.

Tips: You get to learn a lot of things when you are coming as an international student. There are cultural shifts and also there are many things here that are not the same as in India but we all get adjusted to those things easily. Overall, I am really satisfied.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Very approachable and friendly. Everything theoretical things are shown practically with live examples and also industrial experiences of professors help understand problems more deeply. The helping nature of the faculty motivates us to study and the strict faculty always keeps us on our toes.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The year 2024 is not too good for the job as there are many people and very few jobs. Ireland was not ready for this much intake which has caused trouble here. Very few companies are offering sponsorship and the salary is a minimum of 35,000 Euros per year.

No attendance, good online study portal, and fair grading system.
Tips: No attendance, going to college is optional which is a big plus. Good online study portal to access all the study material. All classroom lecture recordings are uploaded by lecturers and are available by the EOD on the online study portal and there is a fair marking system for assignments.
Likes (Safety): It is a good and safe university to study. However, the surrounding areas are very unsafe to live in. I would suggest upcoming students research more about the unsafe places in Dubin and get accommodation in good areas. Teenagers are causing a big problem in Ireland mainly in a few areas of Dublin. Some mob will come hit you and may cause you severe injuries, but still, you may not get help from anybody including the government and they won't even get punished by law. So choose a good area to live in and travel by bus and with friends mostly.
Dislikes (Internships): We have to apply to companies for internships or jobs. University won't bring any companies like how it happens in India. Some companies will come to the college to advertise their companies and during that time if there are any relevant companies we can ask them and check if there are any jobs available. If yes we have to apply through their company's careers page.

DCU has a great campus with helpful professors.
Tips: I didn't get any scholarship since I applied for this college before I finished my Bachelors. Had I applied it later I would have gotten at least a 2000 Euro scholarship. I am very much satisfied with the country and the courses they provides, the university also as a whole was very good and affordable when I came here.
Likes (Safety): Everything regarding safety is very good for me in this city. The only people who look down are the other Indians in this country since many carry on with an attitude. I don't like to speak to any other Indians except my friends since whenever I approached any other Indians they were rude to me initially.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don't have a job at the moment since I require sponsorship to stay in this country but given a chance to permanent reside in the country, I would take that chance since it has greater benefits and is very lively. In the initial days I wanted to leave the country but as the time passes you get adjusted to it.

Amazing university, amazing faculty and a huge learning opportunity.
Tips: If someone is joining a technical course, they should be well rehearsed with the technology taught in the course as mostly everything is taught through applied principles. So one should prepare beforehand as it is going to be tough to study a STEM course here.
Likes (Internships): DCU gives opportunities for internships for under graduates and also for Masters. They give opportunities to take internships in their research programs. In my course Intel comes every year, they select 10 students for a job offer and also 3000 Euros scholarship.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food is hard to get as it is expensive and if you cook yourself it will be better. It doesn't depend on the college you choose, for food, you have to learn cooking. Indian cooking material is easily available. Almost everything. For dosa lovers I would suggest bring dosa pan from India and bring cooker as well.

It is a good college for students who don't want to do part time jobs.
Tips: You can not do a part-time job here. The hours are very long, from 8:30 am to 8 pm, with only a one-hour break in between. Even if you could find a part-time job, you would have to know French very well. The faculty at ESC Clermont are the best, and the learning experience is very unique. The classes are fully based on practical learning. The teachers give you scenarios, and then you have to make a PowerPoint presentation so that you can learn the core and experience the situations in the business. There are different teachers from different countries, which makes for a diverse learning environment.

They should also know that part-time jobs are available and that the more you learn, the more benefits you will have. Public transportation is good. The buses run frequently and the bus stops are conveniently located, but the buses can be crowded at times. Overall, I think it's a good transportation system, but it really depends on the individual and how they use the system. I would love to stay in this country if I get a good job offer. Dislikes (Indian Food): The variety and authenticity of the local offerings are limited compared to what I could find back home. While there are a few Indian restaurants nearby, most of the dishes they serve are adapted to local tastes and lack authentic flavours or ingredients. Indian restaurants are priced moderately, with an average meal costing around 10-20 EUR per person, depending on the establishment. Additionally, the spice levels are generally reduced, and certain regional dishes are harder to find, which makes it difficult to get the true flavours of home. I often find myself cooking Indian meals at home to satisfy cravings. Eating out, on the other hand, is often reserved for trying new cuisines or social occasions, adding balance to my culinary experiences.

Likes (Safety): Many regions in France especially rural areas and smaller towns have relatively low crime rates. The presence of police in most cities along with well strict rules can give a sense of safety. Efficient emergency services and a good response time can increase overall safety in the city. The presence of a university often leads to a focus on student safety.
Dislikes (Part time work): If the number of part-time jobs is low, it can be difficult for students or other part-time tiers to find suitable work. College hours are from morning to evening, so we cannot go for a job. The college schedule is not proper for doing part-time jobs. Clermont Ferrand is a vibrant city, but a city may have limited part-time job opportunities compared to larger cities in France. Factors like the local economy, the presence of multinational companies, and the focus on specific industries can affect job availability.

Tips: After coming to this university, I found it wasn't that easy to adjust. I had to do a lot of research on my own. It has only been a month, and I have been focusing on my studies and presentations. As a result, I haven't been able to participate in many cultural activities. I have not received any scholarships, but I am pretty satisfied with the university, my course, and France.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are very supportive and encouraging. The students are quite competitive, which pushes me to learn new things. The professors provide a lot of insights on every topic that we learn. They also prepare us for the future by giving us assignments to prepare presentations, advertising, marketing, etc.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave a low rating for part-time work because the study timetable changes every day and week, which makes it difficult to find a part-time job that doesn't conflict with my classes. I also went to check for night shifts, but I don't know if I will be able to manage it with studies. It's getting difficult to manage the expenses.

Tips: At ESC Clermont Business school, it would be amazing experience with international community. Students are open for multiple scholarships and financial aids. I must say it is value for money in many aspects like education, jobs, social life and safety in the city.
Likes (Post study jobs): Most of the MNC companies are providing work visas. Also, 2 year post-study work visa allows you to work within the whole EU. Also, many of the international giants are looking for students who are fluent English speakers, so you can also find jobs anywhere in the market of the EU region.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time jobs are highly dependent on your French language fluency. If lack of the same you will not find any part-time jobs. The average salary in part-time depends upon the company or firm. It generally varies from the range of 600 to 1200 as well.

Tips: Before joining this college keep in mind that there is no part-time job here and classes are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and some it can go to 7:30 pm. Almost no one here speaks English so the language is the biggest barrier. And in classes, it is not so hard, you will easily understand everything to be honest it is easier than in India. And if you need anything feel free to contact students.
Likes (Safety): The city boasts complete safety and excellent public transport connectivity and they also offer a student pass for just 5 euros a month granting unlimited travel within the region. With its small size , friend inhabitants and negligible crime rate, there is a place named gare sncf which is not an ideal place to live because of too many alcoholic people. In conclusion, this place is safe and good.
Dislikes (Part time work): Limited part time job opportunities exist for students due to high competition stemming from a large student population. Additionally barriers particularly for international English speakers. I remember my friend was not able to get any part time job after searching for two months. Many people offered him to be on illegal contract.

But the best part is that you have access to 26 Schengen countries which means you have more opportunities to apply for. Better to learn French before coming here.

I made the right choice choosing ESC Clermont.
Tips: I don't want to say I was shocked when I encountered the French culture at ESC Clermont. It's their culture, and we have to adapt to it. I am satisfied with this university because it is reputed and triple-accredited, which is the best I could ask for. Also, there are scholarships available from the Bourse Foundation for ESC students.
Likes (Public transportation): There's a tram station near ESC Clermont that's well-connected to the entire city. The tram pass costs only 4.3 euros per month for students. The city also has bikes that are free for students to use, so you don't have to walk.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are restaurants in Clermont Ferrand that cater to students from my country. The menu prices start at 7.5 euros, and the food is really nice. I can also find ingredients for my country's food in hypermarkets and supermarkets. I'm really loving this city. It's peaceful and friendly, even in the restaurants.
