A great place to learn, evolve and network
Tips: The student-teacher ratio is absolutely amazing, barely find more than 30 students in one batch for a degree. All program features small class size which benefits personalized learning. The curriculum is designed in a way to help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving and strategic management skills. The university provides cutting edge research and industry experts.
Likes (Public transportation): Since every student in Germany receives a Student ID card, also used as a local travel card in the state where the university is, it becomes beneficial for all students as it charged very low for the whole semester compared to regular tickets. There are more benefits of public transport in general. Those are as follows:
1. Extensive Networks
2. Punctuality
3. Cleanliness
4. Ease of Use
5. Safety
Dislikes (Value for money): As we all know studying in Germany is almost free for most courses, but there are exceptions. MBA is one of the degrees which is not free anywhere in the world. So paying a hefty amount of 150-1500 Euro per semester in a country where everyone is studying almost free. Nevertheless, it is still possible to find ways to get funding such as scholarships, part-time jobs, internships.

College is amazing. Never say no to any problem.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should know that this is gonna be hectic. You have to juggle studies, assignments, part-time, and home chores altogether every day. So you should be mentally prepared for this otherwise, it will be overwhelming for you. The college is beyond satisfactory in terms of quality of education. However, I suggest you learn German before coming.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty has a very diverse background and are very knowledgeable. They never say no to any query. The study material is amazing. Every day you'll feel you have learnt something new and something more valuable. Everything is based on real time, including stock prices.
Dislikes (Part time work): I'm at the Frankfurt campus, which is a bit smaller than the Dortmund campus. Because of the size, the options for part-time jobs on campus are limited. However, there are plenty of part-time jobs available in the city. You just have to be proactive and look for opportunities everywhere.

It is an easy going university with many part time opportunities.
Tips: Students should know that residence permits, accommodation, and anmeldung should be done as soon as possible. Also, find part-time jobs especially working student jobs along with the classes. The professor conducts industrial visits and you will be handed over with projects of real companies.

A good college with excellent faculty but lacks recreational facilities.
Tips: Germany does everything on paper, not digital. Get ready to do a lot of paperwork for official documents and things. Your registration and applications for everything are on paper and have to be sent by post. Electricity costs will gradually rise because of inflation and the Ukraine war, and expect high rents. Apart from these, people are very nice and helpful, the place is very clean and beautiful.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian restaurants here in Frankfurt, however, they are expensive. I prefer cooking at home, you can buy Indian spices and stuff at Asian stores. Overall, you can easily cook Indian food here at home, which is better than eating outside.
Dislikes (Value for money): Compared to other Universities here, this one is a bit more expensive. The campus doesn't have any sports or recreational facilities, it is only one academic building with a cafeteria. You can expect to have mostly studies and some coffee sessions with your classmates.

One needs to be prepared before starting their journey.
Tips: MIB is quite a hectic course so be mentally prepared for that. It is important to thoroughly research and speak to previous students at the university so that there are fewer surprises going into the course. The cultural shock is going to be there and eventually get better with time. You have to be ready before starting the course, try going through the curriculum and prepare the modules. This way, the classes will be less stressful.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation has never really caused me a problem here in Dortmund. There is the U-Bahn, S-Bahn and the buses which all operate according to a schedule and are relatively on time. Plus with the semester ticket, it is very convenient to move around in NRW (the entire state) at no additional cost.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I am still looking for a job, it is quite stressful to find both accommodation and a job in Germany so be mentally prepared for that. The course that I was enrolled in was quite hectic which meant that we did not have much time to work if we wanted to attend lectures.

It's a great place to be, sometimes hectic but fun.
Tips: I would suggest to go for a public university only because, the study schedule here sometimes becomes very hectic for a student and then you've to manage other things as well, such as cooking. Rest I think the city is amazing and I am loving it already ( been here for more than 3 months now).
Likes (Safety): Unlike India, you can travel here at night or any time of the day without worrying. It's a safe country, especially for students. People are friendly and helpful. The younger generation is more polite. One can face language barriers here but you'll like it more if you speak German.
Dislikes (Value for money): In my opinion, private universities charge a lot of money and the class schedule is also very hectic. One should look for public universities first. They don't have student dorms here and students from our university can't opt for any other student dorms, they'll have to go for private accommodations which are expensive.
