It's fair I have attained my degree but I wish we got more exposure.
Tips: I would like the students to know that there is no scholarship included in the courses to explore the market and gain some experience which can further help in applying for full time jobs so that they would not have to face the issue of being a complete fresher in the market. Part time jobs are not easily available as well.

College is pretty good until you work hard and pass without any backlogs
Tips: The culture of the college and the lecture are all very different from what i experienced back in India. We have to take initiative if we want to study and pass without any backlogs. I had number of exams, group assignments and individual assignments as well. We cant Google and copy paste for the assignments, we have to do our own research with books and journals or else it will be considered as academic misconduct and they will fail us. The college is a good place but it is more academic friendly and strict, so you need to work hard to pass.

Great college but not value for money.
Tips: Culture is different, most people are friendly. Everyone get scholarships, I don't remember the allowance but everyone gets some good amount. Exposure is average, there are only Indians much, I expected people from all countries. They can work on diversity.
Likes (Value for money): I don't think it is value for money because the fees is too much and they don't provide many facilities on campus. Like there is no food stall, just a small coffee stall and drinks. The timing of classes is pathetic they keep 5 hours break which goes to waste. Mostly there are only 2 games football and table tennis, so I dont think the fees is justified
Dislikes (Internships): Not much guidance, everyone is concerned about teaching their course and running off. There is no help with jobs. There are a few guest lectures which only tell us how to apply for part-time still don't help.

Fast paced but manageable
Tips: Griffith college is not for the easy goer for sure as it is very particular in terms of attendance and academics. But if you manage to do both of them right, then the rest of the perks and benefits associated with the college will help you ease out your time here.
Likes (Quality of faculty): We have faculty members with years of experience working as board members and top-tier consultants for major brands. They also share quality resources and are helpful when needed. Although the classes here are fast-paced, faculty members take time to clarify doubts when asked.
Dislikes (Safety): The college is very safe and does not have any issues but the same can't be said about the city in general. It does not apply to all the places but sometimes it is recommended to stay alert in some areas especially in the evening regardless of whether you are a female or a male. I haven't personally experienced any safety issues here but I've heard people being attacked verbally/physically in secluded areas by "junkies".

Good college . Only one year course so it will go by very fast.
Tips: At Griffith, there are more offline classes and it's a small college. Cork is a nice place I think everyone will get part-time jobs, it's not an issue. Come and enjoy. Here if you go outside you can't see that many Indians. But in college, most students are Indians.
Dislikes (Value for money): Other colleges will cost more so compared to them, the fee is low. We can enjoy here. Cork is a nice place. The course is somewhat difficult because, for those who don't have a mathematics background, it will be hard. But I am from a pharma background trying to adjust to the course.

3.7
Academically focused with a barrage of assignments for most weeks!
Tips: The transition was not difficult except for the changes in your natural environment and the normal differences you experience in terms of accommodation. The weather is not very friendly and the culinary changes. I did get a scholarship of around 30% for securing 80% in my 10th and 12th board exams. Very satisfied with the course, even better than some of the premier colleges in the country. But it does not stand true for all courses. The drawback might be a lack of campus recruitment but it is the same problem for most colleges in the country.
Likes (Safety): There are CCTV cameras all around the campus. Even late-night studies at the campus are worth it considering that the security is still online. Overall people are friendly and are very respectful. The cost of living has gone up significantly over the last few years.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The campus could be a little tricky to get to if you are not residing in and around the city centre or along the route to reach the campus. There are two different transportation systems - the bus and the luas(road rail). A travel card is required to keep these expenses affordable.

Good experience and a comfortable environment.
Tips: Scholarships will be offered based on the criteria given by the college in their conditional offer letter. As there are lots of Indian societies and communities, it wasn't as hard as I imagined to make new friends. I was very satisfied with my university and my course. The weather is a bit hard sometimes but it is adaptable.

Try to build friendships and networking.
Tips: The college provides scholarships to eligible students but one has to explore jobs right from the very first day to be matched with skills. Otherwise too late to pick skills after graduation. Grifith is more active in marketing and journalism. IT is not a very good department for placement.
Likes (Safety): It has an accommodation facility which is very safe and secure inside the campus. Outside people are very friendly and safe to get along with. If you lose your belongings they are kept in safe custody and returned to you. Once I lost a gold item and was returned to me after two days by a receptionist.
Dislikes (Part time work): Covid outbreak didn't allow much outgoing. I didn't get many jobs to earn a side income. Also, there is no job on campus and no placement cell for supporting students while studying. Average pay is low around 10.5 euros for part-time jobs. Attendance is very strict so not possible to work while studying.

Overall positive college experience
Tips: Before joining, students should research the college's programs, campus facilities, and support services to ensure a good fit. Transition and to cultural shift I adjusted well after coming here, only experiencing minor cultural shifts in daily life and social norms. I received a scholarship based on academic achievements, covering tuition and providing a monthly allowance, which eased financial concerns. I'm highly satisfied with my college, the course content is engaging, and I enjoy the cultural diversity in the country.
Likes (Part time work): I rated 5 for part-time work because there's a wide range of opportunities available. On-campus jobs are available, and you will find a diverse selection of off-campus opportunities in the surrounding area as well. Part-time work is manageable with academics. The average payout varies but is generally competitive.
Dislikes (Internships): I rated 3 on internships due to limited availability. Moderate guidance, but relevance to my field varies. I recently embarked on a quest to secure an internship in the lively city of Dublin, Ireland. Regrettably, my efforts didn't yield the desired results, prompting my 3-star rating. Despite the challenges in finding an internship, Dublin itself remains a captivating city, rich in culture and opportunities. My rating is a reflection of my personal experience and not a judgment on this vibrant destination. Keep exploring, and you may discover the perfect opportunity that eluded me.

One of the best private college with great history and in very good location.
Tips: Good location in between city center, cost of living is very high but if yoy find part time it manageable, other facilities are great, classrooms are big and well-equipped and staff is lso friendly and good. Mutli cultural student from different part of the world. Everyone is very friendly.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Good cillege and good faculty only they don't help in getting placement the course. But easy country to get into if you want permanent residence to move to Europe. Once you get PR you can apply for Passport and travel around Europe and western countries.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Need to find critical skilled job and have to work for 3 years to get permanent residence. Then it is very easy to get Irish passport. Overall very good country to move too. Also very easy to move to UK once you complete your studies. Would Recommend if things are not working for Canada or Australia.

Griffith College is one of the best and most famous colleges in Ireland
Tips: Scholarships are available here. I had 10 years of experience in the field so I wanted to do my master's programme. And Griffith college is one of the most famous and best colleges in Ireland. It has a good reputation in the market. It is the only English-speaking country currently in the EU and taxes are lower and all big tech companies are here in Ireland.
Likes (Value for money): A cheaper and better option than the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. Plus they provide a one-year master's programme in all fields. Just after one year you can enter the market and work professionally. Plus all the big tech companies are here in Ireland so jobs are easily available.
Dislikes (Part time work): Easily available in Dublin city for students, you can work as a part timer in the supermarket, event company or security job are easily available. This is sufficient for your rent and monthly groceries plus you can save some amount which you can send it back home or enjoy because Ireland has a lot of sightseeing and good nightlife.

Learning with fun. Be focused.
Tips: I know about 15 students before joining in my course through the campus connect app which is one great news for students. To know who your classmates are, and who will be sharing the same class throughout masters is helpful. This helps students to know each other before starting up their classes which I think is a good sign of interaction beforehand.
Likes (Quality of faculty): There is no compromise on faculty teaching standards. They are top class and most of them were PhD holders and have sound experience. Each and every professor gives us the most valuable time when we need it. They have very strong practical knowledge and work experience in their relevant field.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): We all know currently we are hit with Covid19 and Russia and Ukrine war. There was major impact on many sectors so directly or indirectly on students who are looking for post study jobs at this point in time. So this is one of the most important point taken into consideration on post study jobs in current situation throughput the globe not only limited to Griffith College or Ireland.

Friendly atmosphere with multinational students
Tips: Students should choose a better course with good opportunities which suits their previous education or their own interests. One should make a background search regarding the job market after their masters. Students should also monitor all the eligibility criteria & acceptance rates of the particular university or college.
Likes (Value for money): The college infrastructure has a very big space to have fun. The college is perfect for all-round development of an individual. Students love interaction, fun and studies as well so you can easily find ways to keep yourself occupied. There is literally everything in college.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Faculty are highly experienced in their respective subjects. They are friendly and make every student learn on their own about industry oriented skills. They prepare them for their desired jobs by creating interactive sessions. The faculty are themselves very talented and interactive in the classes. They make you ready for every possible situation.

Tips: Well experienced and supportive faculties are present. They conduct interactive lectures and are focused on hands-on practical sessions. They are always ready to help with doubts and provide proper guidance and study material. Curriculum is updated which gives opportunities to explore recent developments and technologies.
Likes (Value for money): Griffith college provides students with great lectures and excellent study material with quality education. It is one of the growing private colleges in Ireland which is more focused on students' success. Griffith college also provides affordable student accommodation.
Dislikes (Internships): It's difficult to search internships, especially for freshers. Past experience is required to get selected for any internships program. Mostly internships are unpaid and require strong technical skills. Very few internships opportunities are available.

Affordable college for international students with good academic facilities.
Tips: I think the cultural shift was there when I first moved to Ireland, I was very surprised with the European culture and lifestyle. Yes, I definitely got scholarship from the college on the basis of merit. I would say I am happy with my decision, after all everything is not going to be perfect, we need to up skill ourselves and had to adjust in the country.
Likes (Public transportation): Ireland's public transport is student-friendly in cities like Dublin with buses, Luas trams, and D-ART trains offering student discounts. Monthly Leap Cars provide affordability, but rural access is limited. Improvements in reliability and affordability could make computing easier for students.
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus jobs are not too much as there are not opportunities, but you can get off campus jobs with references, also resume should be good with experience to show. It's easy to manage part time with academics if someone has a proper schedule to follow. Weekly 250 to 300 .

A balanced journey at Griffith college.
Tips: Before joining Griffith College, it is important to understand the quality of the course, scholarship, cultural differences, and support services available. Transitioning to college can be challenging, as the academic environment is often more rigorous than high school. Students may need to develop self-discipline and time-management skills.
Likes (Value for money): There is access to resources, a comprehensive curriculum and networking opportunities. The availability of academic support, career counselling, and extracurricular activities can enhance the learning experience and justify the fees, providing tangible benefits beyond just classroom learning. The tuition fees could be considered high relative to similar courses at other institutions, leading to the perception that the value isn't fully justified.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are mostly fast food chains and cafes. Affordable, quick-service meals, typically ranging from euro 5 to 10 euros per meal. Places to enjoy lighter fare, pastries, and coffee, often in the range of 5 to 15 euro per item. This could be due to a lack of diverse cuisines, availability of fresh ingredients, or the presence of primarily fast food or chain restaurants rather than local, authentic dining experiences.

Insightful experience at Griffith College - academics, culture, and student life in Ireland.
Tips: Griffith College is known for its practical, hands-on approach. Before joining, it's good to be prepared for a focus on industry-relevant projects and assignments. I availed scholarships of around 2 Lacs INR. I'm very satisfied with Griffith College and the course. The curriculum is designed in a way that balances technical knowledge with business acumen, which is perfect for someone looking to enter the medical device industry.
Likes (Safety): Ireland is generally a very safe country to live in or visit, with low levels of violent crime compared to many other places. The streets, especially in smaller towns and rural areas, feel very secure, and people are typically welcoming and respectful.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Griffith College's campus is well connected to the rest of the city, making it easy to get around Dublin. Buses frequently run near the campus, connecting it to major parts of the city, and there's a reliable network that makes computing straightforward. Public transport costs around 1 Euro one-way, so it costs 2 Euros in total. Moreover, you can travel for 90 minutes once you swipe your leap card.

Positive experience with practical learning and growth opportunities.
Tips: I am adjusting quite well, though the cultural shift required adapting to different communication style and academic expectations. I got a 2000 Euros scholarship because of my good grades. Overall, I am satisfied with the university, course content, and opportunities in the country as everything aligns with my career goals.
Likes (Indian Food): I rated 5 because of Indian food as there are plenty of food options from my home country available, including Indian grocery stores and restaurants, making it easy to access familiar cuisine. I prefer cooking myself as it's healthier, more budget-friendly and allows me to enjoy traditional dishes from my home country. While I do enjoy eating out occasionally to try different cuisines, cooking at home gives me control over ingredients and helps balance cost with quality.
Dislikes (Part time work): Rated 4 on Part-time work because on-campus jobs are limited, but off-campus opportunities in retail and hospitality are available. Balancing part-time work with academics is manageable with good time management. The average payout for part-time work is around 13 Euros per hour.

Good learning opportunity but it is up to you how you utilize it.
Tips: It is upon the students how they want to utilise the facilities provided. There would not be any spoonfeeding. The staff is friendly but you need to study to get grades. Create contacts, explore opportunities and work towards your ultimate goals. It is a good place if you are with the right mindset.
Likes (Public transportation): The connectivity is good but there is scope for improvement due to traffic delays. The buses are usually on time except during peak hours. But the routes are very elaborate so it would take much longer to reach a place than when travelling in a car. There is wifi on buses which is great.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The market is crashing and the ratio of genuine job openings and people looking for jobs is very unbalanced. The most common problem for immigrants is to find a job that sponsors them or lets people self-sponsor, for them to continue staying and working in Ireland. There are a lot of contract jobs but very few permanent ones.

Hardworking nature people can do anything to secure their goals, especially in study matters as it helps achieve good results.
Likes (Indian Food): European culture food options are available and you should be able to experience a wide variety of food culture in Ireland nothing. The main ingredients are mashed potatoes, sauce ages and everything we have. Egg and bread toast and cheese butter are also provided.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Some companies are ready to take freshers and some companies are looking for experienced people in the same country. Usually accounts related packages are available to be free enough to apply and receive and prepare ATS-friendly resumes for further help, and recruiters are recruiting based on skills also.

Tips: Students coming from different backgrounds might experience a bit of a cultural shift. SETU offers a range of scholarships through an application process that assesses academics. Most students find SETU's courses well structured. The faculty is always there to help students do their best, and students should not hesitate to ask for help. For easy going students who only want to pass
Tips: Students coming here must apply for online 2000 Euro scholarship. Easy going college with no issue with attendance. You can do part-time and make a lot of money during the course. Cheap and the best, however, Dublin has opportunities in terms of professional jobs as compared to Waterford if you can spend some extra money go to Dublin.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation in Waterford is quite good. Being a small city a lot of buses run from the city centre however, you need to get a student leap card online that will cost you very cheap public transport so get a leap student card as soon as you land.
Dislikes (Indian Food): For food, if you know how to cook it will be best for you and would be really cheap however if you order or go out it will be expensive. Please learn cooking else you will save nothing here. Especially for vegetarians, life is difficult if you don't know how to cook.

A place to shape your career
Tips: We might face a little cultural difference at first but we get used to it. The people around are quite friendly. I have learned to be independent and manage my expenses. We have a very good work-life balance here. The course I opted for didn’t have any scholarship. The university is good. You will get to learn a lot. Although the weather in Ireland is a bit gloomy. Be ready to experience all the seasons in a single day.
Likes (Quality of faculty): You can reach to faculty any time over calls or mails. They try to rectify students' doubts. The study is mostly practical based so the understanding of the concepts is clear. The faculty are majority Irish, and their accent is a little difficult to catch at first but you will get used to it.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Ireland doesn’t have many India restaurants and the ones that are present are comparatively very high. A biryani would be more than 20 euros. Baguettes are one of the cheapest options you can find here (€5). I would prefer to cook at home and eat mostly at home.

Waterford Institute of Technology has a diverse campus life.
Tips: After moving you will find yourself living independently and learning to speak fluently without any hesitation. Also, would suggest meeting new people and joining cultural clubs which would help out a lot. You can also participate in sports events which are held here semi-annually.
Likes (Safety): Many international students from different parts of the world and diversities study here at Carlow campus. Locals are very friendly and racism or hate crime is a very rare phenomenon here. Campus authorities and local people help out a lot which makes it easier.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Common industries in Waterford include healthcare, education, manufacturing, and technology but preferential treatment is given to candidates. Also, lots of scope is there after engineering and IT but you will have to work out and search a lot to get the best company offering you PSW visa.

Best at Public transportation.
Tips: It's a good decision if you have opted to come here, it's a good opportunity and the college is really nice. The campus is really beautiful. There are well-connected bus routes to the college so travelling is not a hassle. There are a lot of sports and club activities which will keep you indulged throughout the semester.
Likes (Public transportation): Its very well connected. There are cycles for public everywhere around the city where you can rent them around the campus as well. So that's a good option and apart from that the bus routes are well connected and the timings are also good so you can make use of them.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food is not similar to what we get in India, you will have to sacrifice here. The food here is expensive. From a student's perspective, it's very difficult to buy food from Indian shops because it's expensive. The canteen food is also not priced at a level where you can have a meal there regularly.
