The university is wonderful and it has the best campus, facilities and faculty.
Tips: Before joining, students should know about hostel life, food, and other expenses. Students should bring their own spices, as spicy food is not widely eaten in Russia. Students can earn money while studying by doing various part-time jobs. The people in Russia are very friendly and helpful.
Likes (Safety): The city is very safe. I could go anywhere at any time, and even the nightlife felt safe. There were police officers everywhere, and they would check our visas and passports if necessary. If we needed help, we could contact them at any time.
Dislikes (Internships): The college is the best. It provides the highest quality education to its students. The college also encourages opportunities for student betterment. The seniors are very helpful and provide us with proper notes. The staff at the college is the best, and the services provided by the college are very good.

Kazan State Medical University, Russia: Leading medical education with global standards.
Tips: I had a smooth transition to this college, but it took some effort to adapt to the multicultural environment. The faculty in my department is highly approachable and accessible, always ready to assist students with academic and personal concerns. Their teaching methodology emphasizes practical applications, case-based learning, and interactive discussions, which make concepts easier to understand. Additionally, the faculty includes professionals from diverse nationalities, bringing a global perspective to the classroom. College life is vibrant, with a mix of academics and extracurricular activities. I enjoy spending my day engaging in lectures, group discussions, and participating in campus events like cultural festivals, seminars, and sports competitions. Our campus offers various student clubs, including music, debate, and volunteer groups, encouraging students to explore their interests and build connections. Scholarships are available for deserving students based on merit and need, and I received one with an allowance covering tuition and living expenses. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the university, the course curriculum, and the supportive environment.

The university is good but it is very tough to get a scholarship.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should know that there is a bit of a cultural shift. The rules are a bit stricter than in India. Scholarships are available, and I have received them. To qualify, you need to score above 80% in every subject. If you score above 90% in every subject, you will receive a 15% scholarship. Overall, I am satisfied with the college.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system has lots of options, including metro, tram, bus, electric bus, and cabs. The frequency of the transport is every 10 minutes, and it is comfortable to travel across the city. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive.
Dislikes (Internships): There is less clinical exposure at this university because the hospital is very clean and patients with infectious diseases rarely visit. However, there are a decent number of patients in other departments. Another reason for the low clinical exposure is the language barrier.

A fun and loving experience
Tips: Be prepared for the cold weather. For the FMGE exams start preparing in your 4th year. It takes one extra year in Russia to graduate in MBBS. The expenses each month can be up to 20,000 rubles minimum. Also the recent war has increased the prices of day to day items .
Likes (Student Life): Great environment and facilities. Very safe and friendly. You will have great experiences. Its basically everything that you can expect of a modern city. It has great facilities, good transport system and decent people. The lifestyle is great and comfortable.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It depends on the person, if you learn the language well and are ready to serve for lower pay grades then its good for permanent immigration. Also the expenses can increase over time and the cold weather can be bothersome sometimes. The faculty during the last year is kind of strict and you will need to focus more .

My experience in Kazan state medical university was good.
Tips: If you are ready to overcome your fear of leaving home for studies then it will be worth it. Also, stay away from fraud consultancies as they would charge you a handsome amount of money and won't help you after. Many students have to face this issue, so be careful.
Likes (Internships): Internship in kazan state medical university is best in Russia as after completing the MBBS course, students always worry about their internships. So, here you would find yourself at ease to complete your internship. And teachers help international students in every way possible.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are no Indian food options over here and mostly non veg food is available everywhere. Those who choose to be vegetarian, have to reconsider their choices because no vegetarian food is available in this country. People generally cook for themselves.

An enriching and supportive college experience.
Tips: Students should be aware of the academic rigour, campus culture, and available resources. It’s important to research your program thoroughly, understand the extracurricular opportunities, and plan your finances, especially for international students. Familiarity with the local culture and climate will also help in adjusting quickly. The transition was smooth, but adapting to the cultural norms and social dynamics took some time. Differences in communication styles, teaching approaches, and campus life were noticeable. Embracing diversity and participating in events helped me integrate better.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is highly efficient, well-connected, and reliable. It makes commuting to and from the campus hassle-free and convenient. The campus is centrally located and well-connected with various parts of the city through buses, metro lines, and ride-sharing services. Frequent routes and stops close to campus make travelling easy for students.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and engaging, but others are not as effective at communicating or adapting to students' needs. There is room for improvement in maintaining consistency across the teaching staff. Most faculty members are approachable and willing to help students during office hours or via email, but accessibility varies, as some professors are more proactive in engaging with students than others.

The faculty of is specialized in their fields and we have practical trainings.
Tips: The university is approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. It is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) (now NMC) and several other international medical councils. The faculty at Kazan State Medical University is international and English-speaking. The most popular faculty for international students is the General Medicine Faculty, which offers a six-year MBBS program. The faculty focuses on theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and clinical exposure. There are very few Indian restaurants and grocery stores in Russia. The Indian population in Russia is relatively small, leading to fewer Indian restaurants and grocery stores catering to Indian cuisine. Most Indian students and workers are concentrated in major cities like Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Kazan, which may have some Indian eateries, but these are scarce in smaller towns.

The university is good and has a simple scholarship criteria.
Tips: The people of this country, the faculty, and the students are friendly and helpful, and I didn't experience any cultural shock because this country focuses on studies, not on their culture. The university has simple scholarship eligibility criteria. If you get high marks in Physics, Russian, Latin, and Biology, you can get a scholarship of 5% for an 80% score, 10% for an 85% score, and 15% for a 90% score. Overall, I am very satisfied with my university, my course, and the country of Russia.
Likes (Indian Food): The faculty and students are friendly and helpful, and I've learned a lot from them. The college is great for festivals because they celebrate a variety of cultures. I've enjoyed participating in events like a freshers party, dancing, singing, and a drawing competition. The college is diverse, with both international and local students. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and I've learned a lot from them.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university has the best faculty who trained me to become an excellent doctor. The teachers were very good at their jobs and treated the students well. They were also very knowledgeable about their culture, food, and historical places.

A very good college in the Volga region for international students.
Tips: We do get scholarships based on our marks. The subjects and faculty are very helpful, and you can ask them anything and they will explain it to you. You will get a very good curriculum and a healthy environment for your studies. The university campus is also very welcoming and the faculty is very good and talented. I am very satisfied with the environment and the university campus.

Good education, good campus and excellent hostel facility.
Tips: The university is good, and the faculty is excellent. They are very thoughtful and help us whenever we have doubts. The weather and language barrier are problems in Russia. I liked the university campus, hostel rooms, and kitchen. Here, we have to cook our own food. The FMGE result of Kazan State Medical University is also good, and many students pass every year. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the university and the country.

The university is strict and has strong academics.
Tips: I got a scholarship at my college in Russia. To get one, you need to focus on your studies and have good attendance. The criteria are listed on the official university website or you can ask your counsellor before joining. You will have to do a lot of cooking because Indian food is not very available. And keep in mind the language barrier.
Likes (Safety): It is pretty safe around here. You don't have to worry about your safety. The police are always patrolling the city. However, you should keep your documents safe, as they are your only identification here. You may be asked to show your documents at any time.
Dislikes (Part time work): Our college doesn't allow us to work very long shifts because it can impact our studying. However, you can work small shifts if you have mastered the Russian language because without it you won't be able to earn much money.

The college is good with the right curriculum for a medical aspirant.
Tips: Initially, my college experience was a bit difficult, but over time I adjusted to the surroundings and learned a lot about the different people and cultures there. However, I did not find it necessary to make any major cultural shifts. Also, scholarships may be available, but you need to do your research on the college's website to find out what they offer.
Likes (Value for money): The fee structure at this college is flexible, and I haven't encountered any problems so far. The tuition fees are justified in terms of the quality of teaching and the curriculum. The experimental lab and teaching gadgets are well-updated, which helps students understand the subjects better.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food is not available. So, I taught myself how to cook, and now I am happy. There is a local market nearby where you can buy vegetables at reasonable prices. If you are a non-vegetarian, you will have no problem finding food that you like. The market is safe to visit, and healthy food is available.

Overall an amazing MBBS college for Indian students with good career opportunity and good people
Tips: Firstly, before joining this college you should know regarding the exams which we have to give in India and clear it after completing the course from this college once we wish to practice and put clinic in India. Secondly about MCI set up rules regarding abroad colleges and then regarding the fee structure of this college as it might vary and most importantly regarding the scholarship as there are many scholarship available from state government of the city which can really help you financially.
Likes (Part time work): Part time works are available within and near the college itself, one can do work in restaurants, hospitals, and college itself to earn some money for various needs of students. Various options like assistant nurse, ward boy, also assistant doctors, doctors under training are available here in my city and locality
Dislikes (Indian Food): As I'm an Indian and I'm 100% vegetarian, it's very difficult to get a pure veg meals and mostly I have to buy veggies and make it by myself, there are few restaurants which provides pure veg foods. You have to at least eat egg and chicken for better food options. Someone like me will have very few choices, still there are few restaurants but not many which gives every food variety of India
