MSc International Business Management - Batch of 2024

City is well-connected, great public transportation.
Tips: I probably think students should really do their groundwork to check if the course they want to pursue has good modules and what are they expecting out of their university student life. They must look into the support they require from the University. Partially satisfied with the student life and exposure on-campus.
Likes (Public transportation): It's very easy to commute around university and London as the transportation is very well connected. Transportation is well planned and helps you get to anywhere in London without any hassle thanks to the proper demarcation of transport options available.
Dislikes (Student Life): I would prefer if people integrated more and were on campus more often, having better exposure to the people in multiple events. I feel people need to be more closely connected to help build better connections and interpersonal skills that most people lack.

Best college in Central London.
Tips: It is quite a good college for international students. The atmosphere and environment are very good, so it was easy for me to adjust. Plus, the teachers and staff are very supportive. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality of teaching and the overall excellence of the university.
Likes (Public transportation): The transport was good as the location of the university was in central London, so all the buses and trams were easily available at all times. Plus, at free times, we could even see the London Bridge and many more places to visit, as the university was located in the center of London, where all the good places to visit were nearby.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fees for international students were much higher than those for students who are English or residents of London. I think the university should keep our fees low because we are travelling from another country and have to look out for our accommodation, rent, and travel expenses on our own.

Valuable learning experience with friendly faculty.
Tips: The University of Roehampton provides a diverse and supportive learning environment. It's important to engage with faculty and use all the resources provided, such as the library, career support, and guidance. In addition, getting involved with student societies like the RSU and Desi Society is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
Likes (Safety): The campus is safe whether it's day or night. There's no bullying or harassment. The university has taken steps to make the campus safe, such as installing 24/7 CCTV cameras, lighting the pathways, and providing a student support team. They also offer mental health support and workshops.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don't have any idea for settlement options here other than landing a visa sponsorship job and then working for 5 years. I am not thinking of getting permanently settled here. If chance is given to me, I'd love to but I need to think about it.

Try to focus on court ranking and your work experience rather than university ranking.
Tips: Students should know that the university ranking doesn't matter. What matters is the ranking of your course and the placement record of your university. You should ask previous students and alumni about the best way to know about your university and they can give you the best information. Don't just change universities based on rankings.
Likes (Indian Food): If you are concerned about finding Indian food in London, don't worry about it. There are Indian restaurants and grocery stores all over the city, and in places like Southall you can even find authentic Indian food.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There is no campus placement office, so you are on your own to find a job after graduation. This can be a long process, as evidenced by the fact that none of my friends have found jobs in the last two years. My advice is to gain experience in India before coming here for your degree.

A good experience overall
Tips: I have not had much cultural shift because the reason might be I always stay with my Indian friends and I explore much here in the UK. I got a scholarship as I applied through a consultancy for 4000 pounds. The university is good with experienced faculty and a lively atmosphere. I have not experienced any racism of any kind. So, overall I had a positive experience with my university.
