University is in a small town in Canada
Tips: It is in a small town. So don't expect the facilities of a big city. However, that means it is full of nice and accommodating people. People smile at each other when they see each other in the streets. You become a part of a close-knit community both at school and in the town.
Likes (Safety): It is incredibly safe. You can walk safely even at midnight and I do that often. Also, I never locked my door in the last three years. Nothing ever happened. Law and order are respected fully here by the community and the school both. It is safe for girls too.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Not a lot of options as it is a small town. There are a handful of restaurants and takeouts and none of them are Indian. Besides, in the grocery stores, you can get some cooking essentials but these are not on par with what you would expect in a larger place like Toronto.

Assignment oriented, sometimes hectic college with decent faculty.
Tips: College is in an easily accessible area but finding accommodation near the college is going to be a great challenge. A big migrant population means exposure to a lot of different cultures and we should be respectful to them. Scholarships are for students with financial difficulties so I did not apply for any, people who need them can research more about them on colleges' website.
Likes (Safety): Vancouver is in general a safe city, there are certain no-go regions in the city due to the drug epidemic but a lot of them are harmless, but they do make you feel uneasy in public transportation. You can travel alone at 2 in the morning, given you ignore certain regions and you will be fine.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Job market in Canada is down and you have hundreds of applicants for a single job. People do not get any response from the recruiters. Trying to network is also hard as people are being bombarded by people seeking employment in their organisation. Entry-level jobs require 3+ years of experience with knowledge of multiple tools that are obsolete in general.

Overall the experience and feel is good. You get to know different people from different culture.
Tips: The students should know that the mechanism of studying abroad is different than in India. Here there is more practical than theoretical. And there will be assignments every week and exams after every 2 to 3 weeks plus the semester is 2.5 months only.
Likes (Public transportation): Student life is also pretty good here. Like we have a whole different building for the student union where students can meet, hang out, do their assignments together and many more things. It also helps students make new friends. Therefore I rate 5 on student life.
Dislikes (Part time work): The faculty here is pretty good and they make time for students outside the class too. Like they do after class hours. We can make an appointment and can meet our instructors. They also make sure that everyone is coping well with studies and give feedback too.
