My experience has been challenging yet enriching.
Tips: Transitioning to the US for my master's at Northwest Missouri State University was challenging yet enriching. Adapting to the cultural difference and new educational system took time, but supportive faculty, friends and a diverse environment made the experience rewarding. I believe there is a default $500 scholarship for every international student. Overall, I am satisfied with the college and the course.
Likes (Safety): College premises are safe and the small town of Maryville is completely pleasant and peaceful where students can freely roam around. In my knowledge, there were no such unsafe incidents happened over the last 3-4 years. I have never encountered any bad experiences nor have my friends and we still walk around the street late at night and it feels very safe.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is no proper public transportation available because the college location is similar to the village. One should have their own car. Initially, most of us used to walk to Walmart to buy groceries and maybe some other food stores. There is one bus with some particular timing that might provide public transportation but I am not sure exactly how it works because I have never used it or else the college provides free transportation for students with limited timings over two to three days in weekdays and weekends.

This was the best self made decision taken in my international career journey.
Tips: There is a change of culture that students will experience. But we can easily manage in the Northwest. All international students get a scholarship of 500$ when they get admitted from Northwest. Coming to my journey, I am really happy with the University and satisfied with its course curriculum. And the United States has good career options.
Likes (Value for money): Studying in Northwest is definitely value for money. Completing Master's in United States for 15k-20k is really a good thing. So even without any part-time we can afford education and all the expenses in Maryville are really low. So for the money that we are spending and the education we are getting, I would definitely say its worth it.
Dislikes (Public transportation): We don't have any public transport options to go to other cities but there are so many carpool options. So it will never be a big problem. We can manage with any friend's car during Masters and we don't have any public transportation overall. But all the students stay near the college so transport is just an option.

Friendly college with sports facilities.
Tips: This college has good academic facilities with labs etc. It is good for students in all courses. The faculty is very friendly plus there are high chances of getting GTA. There are other aspects too like sports. Academically, this is a good college.
Likes (Public transportation): Well, the university is equipped with bus services that work great for transportation. Believe me, I didn't feel a need to even get a car apart from getting groceries and going out. It is very well connected by bus service which is also free for students.
Dislikes (Value for money): I believe it is the best investment . I got GTA ( Graduate Teaching Assistant Scholarship) too easily in my course. So overall I spent less money on my graduate studies. For this reason, it has been a value for money university. All my tuition fees were covered and I had to spend very less money on my studies.
