Enriching campus life with strong academic and cultural support.
Tips: Students should familiarize themselves with the campus culture, academic expectations, and resources like study support and career services. It is also helpful to understand living costs, campus facilities, and local transportation options. Overall, I am satisfied with the university's academic standards, resources, and the range of opportunities available. The course offers practical and theoretical learning, which has been beneficial.
Likes (Safety): I rated safety as 5 due to robust campus security measures, including ID access to all buildings, which ensures that only authorized individuals enter. Additionally, the city provides extensive CCTV coverage and well-lit pathways, enhancing safety. I've had positive experiences with the campus environment and feel secure walking around at any time.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I rated 3 on permanent immigration/settlement options because, while I currently live here and find many aspects appealing, I'm still evaluating long-term factors that could impact my decision to stay permanent. I would be open to a permanent setting, but only if some facts aligned with my personal and professional goals.

NTU is a great place for international students especially for beginners with no experiences.
Tips: M.Sc. Cyber Security is a niche course and the ones who have experience in this field might find the course fairly basic. The faculty is okay, facilities are at par like all the UK universities. Book your accommodation before coming here for sure, and look for part time asap. Get onboard with agencies I've shared above and research on more to get part time work. If possible, take education from a bigger city like Glasgow since they've great part time opportunities and a better city life compared to Nottingham.
Likes (Safety): Nottingham City Council has taken appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the residents. All the buses and public transport have CCTV and generally the streets are crowded and giving students a sense of belonging and not making them feel lonely much.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are spare off campus opportunities and the on campus ones are few too. However, one can work with agencies like Hap, Constellation, Liquor Collectively, ARC, PSG, G4S, etc. To get shift based zero hour contact work. Indeed works well but I personally haven't gotten much luck here. However, with the above agencies, I've been working 20 hours/week give or take and it suffices my monthly expenses and helps in saving money as well.

Nottingham Trent is a great place to study
Tips: Nottingham Trent is a good University to attend. It is also one of the safest cities. People here are very much friendly with international students. There are various events taking place on the campus in which you will get to know and interact with many new people. Moreover, public transport over here is convenient but it is a bit expensive for all those who are daily travelers. Also, I am satisfied with my course as it exposed me to the Technical skills required. Big cultural shift, different food, different climate, different environment. I am very satisfied with the university as it is up to the mark and also with my course.

A journey to successful life.
Tips: You get to learn skills like management, finance, studying all by yourself, work-life balance, making friends, responsible behaviour, leadership skills, and work-related skills. Basically, after coming here you learn to work hard. In short, you learn to be independent through all modes.
Likes (Public transportation): The city has well connected public transport, one of the bus routes directly connects the city from within the campus, and other routes are available just outside the campus, so good transportation. Apart from this, there is a train station nearby which connects the city with the rest of the UK.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The restaurants mainly serve food which is very expensive and also do not have the same Indian spice taste as it is available in India. I prefer cooking by myself. The food available here is good but not as per Indian spice and taste, it's more towards boiled food.

The university is quite good with nice campus and teaching faculty.
Tips: There are drastic cultural differences like transport, food and most importantly the weather. There are quite a few scholarships available for foreign students to get one you have to write one sort of essay which covers all the points like why you chose this particular university and the course and you have to mention where you worked in the past.

Liberal, Student friendly and social.
Tips: It might be a bit overwhelming in the start because of the many changes. You gradually get used to it as you make friends. Big cultural shift, different weather, different food etc. Scholarships are available at NTU, but on a first come first serve basis, so you need to apply for them as soon as possible. Very satisfied with my course and university.
Likes (Indian Food): The restaurants in Nottingham are varied ranging from north and south foods to famous foods from a lot of different cities. Everyone has their own preference, personally prefer cooking at home while also eating out or getting takeaways at least once a week.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty in my department are very accessible and approachable. You can contact them through phone, email or teams. We have a fair amount of practical implementation of every module studied with a report deliverable at the end assessing the understanding of students.

Welcoming and energetic University
Tips: I have witnessed a multi-culture here in Nottingham, which was overwhelming for a bit but there wasn't much change for me as I have resided in multiple nations before. I have received a scholarship and was fortunate enough to gain distinction as well. I am 100% satisfied with what I have gained from my University.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are a lot of opportunities in this place, as there are a couple of universities which have the best outcomes for students. So the scope of getting a job and setting is more inclined towards the positive side of it rather than the negative side. And I have secured a job so my experience has been great.
Dislikes (Public transportation): I haven't used public transport much, I rarely used to travel out, so I am not very familiar how the actual frequency of transportation is. However, to the extent I have travelled, it was not bad. And there were buses even late at night and it felt safe to travel.

Nottingham Trent University is easy going and it’s teaching method is very friendly.
Tips: Students should know their course structure. The modules which are included in the course should be known before joining the college. Make sure how essential the modules are for the future when you join any company. They should also see how the teaching and assessment are done for the modules.

An experience of lifetime.
Tips: The university is very beautiful and lively. There are various events taking place in various areas of campus. They provide various facilities as well. The professors are very helpful and supportive. You get to participate in various events every week and make new friends.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is quite easy and convenient especially if you live a bit far from the city. Although it gets quite expensive if you have to travel every day but if you work part-time, it's manageable. There are specific timing and routes you can look for while traveling. This especially helps if you're a newbie in the city.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There aren't many opportunities for placements as the number of students is increasing. Also, another reason might be the recent recession due to covid. The university doesn't help students in every aspect even if they take their sandwich year.

My happy place. Nottingham is one of the safest cities.
Tips: Be ready for the submissions. Don't wait for the last minute rush. The teaching method is totally different here. They do 3 weeks of studies and 1 week of assessment. My course has 7 modules and each module has a written exam as well as a report. Make sure that you do not mess with plagiarism. They are pretty strict with this thing.
Likes (Safety): Nottingham is one of the safest cities. We have police everywhere and the people are friendly as well. Avoid going to shady places at night and try not to interact with any homeless person at night, otherwise it is safe. I have been out till 5-6 AM in the morning.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The British food is pathetic and you are going to crave for the Indian food. You will get all the masala though the food won't taste the same as it does in India. Avoid McDonald and KFC as they are not good here. You will always have to cook by yourself. Indian restaurants are there but they will not be healthy for you on a daily basis.

Tips: I just started at Brunel University London. The transition has gone well, and I'm happy with the scholarship that reduced my tuition by 5000 pounds. The faculty are very approachable and helpful and guides us throughout the semester. I didn't avail the university accommodation and chose to live off campus because it is less expensive than on-campus housing as it is a bit expensive as compared to outside accommodation.

More money less optimisation.
Tips: Students should definitely apply for scholarships. When choosing your college, it is especially important to choose the right course. Don't just jump into any management course just to be in the UK. Choose the right course that will give you more credit and better job prospects, as determined by market analysis.
Likes (Safety): London is a safe city, especially for students. It's a nice, cool, and crowded city with a lot of Indian students. That makes it easier to get part-time jobs. So don't lose hope and apply for jobs often.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is hard to get a job in London. It is not that easy to get your field job in the blink of an eye. The competition is very high on grounds of your visa status, compatibility, part-time availability, and nationality. However, do not lose hope and pay attention to your college placements. Tips: Before joining students should research the rankings and ask the people about the course curriculum. Know well about the course modules, syllabus, professors and what they offer in return and look out for the post placements before joining.
Likes (Safety): The campus is well-equipped with cameras, and police offices roaming all around. There's nothing that goes wrong until someone from the University does wrong. Make a lot of friends on the go. Everyone has unity all over the place. The infrastructure is well-built and people are generous.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fee is high but the reputation is also the same. Research everything possible before coming to make your life easier here. Even start applying for jobs before coming to the UK. The value of the course increases every year.

Tips: Cultural differences are a major thing. One should always be prepared for the worst outcomes of anything but just be positive about what's going on and keep on moving forward. Likes (Student Life): Being close to London, gives access to all the fun parts of the city. The university offers a wide range of fun activities, clubs and social events where you can easily meet new people. The university is full of diverse people from different walks of life giving it an international feeling.

Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Faculty in Brunel for my modules are so knowledgeable and hold many years of experience. This actually is very important for a student when doing his/her master's. They are friendly and you can contact them literally at any time through email. I love Brunel's faculty.

Tips: Be aware of university deadlines. Select the course you want to study and go through the modules. Make sure you are clear with everything about the course like the modules, fees, scholarship, etc. Never miss an opportunity, doors are never knocked twice, use your chance.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The student life is good as I can work part time when I have no lectures. The money I earn through part time is enough for my living. Classes are not that compactly scheduled they are convenient. I live in student accommodation, I get to see a lot of people from different countries.
Dislikes (Internships): The facilities offered in Brunel for students are really good. We are given access to laboratories which have advanced technologies in them. Likes (Student Life): As per my perspective, I’m staying in university accommodation which is very good for student life and we get many friends from different countries. Getting good flatmates and making new friends with little similar to our age will definitely make our university days very amazing.
Dislikes (Internships): I choose Brunel university because of its very good education and good teachers. Never wait for 2nd chance
Tips: Research about course modules and facilities offered for students. So for each course, you have to check what laboratory facilities are offered, what software is taught on your module, scholarship, university ranking, internship, student life, living expenses etc. If you've got a chance grab it, not everyone gets a chance. Also, take care of your expenses before coming here.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): When you start exploring UK, you'll find lots of opportunities to get sponsored for psw. There are many places where you would love to settle. When you move little away from London, you'll really love UK. There are many industrial firms to work in. So develop your skills, get placed in an firm, work for the time period for permanent residential status.
Dislikes (Value for money): In my opinion, I often feel I am spending more than what it is actually worth. At times I feel the university fee is a little higher than what they offer. Accommodation costs are high, its common in London but not for students coming from India. So come prepared for everything

Great university and even greater opportunity for future development.
Tips: The university offers great opportunities for part time work and even post study work. Great studying experience and social life. The tuition fees is on the expensive side but it works when considering the opportunities you can get for work after studying and part time work while studying.
Likes (Safety): Safety in the campus is excellent. if you choose to live outside campus then the commutations to and from university is excellent (there is also a 24 hour bus route). I've stayed on both university accommodation and off campus accommodation and I can tell there are no security concerns from it.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): My rating is fairly straightforward, if the student wants to achieve something it’s completely dependent upon their ability to do so. It doesn’t always matter on what university the student studies. There are companies who are willing to sponsor either on contract or non contract basis. The student should make up their mind if he wants to stay in the country or go back.

It’s one of the best universities with a Giant Campus in London.
Tips: Students have the opportunity to explore the lifestyle and job opportunities from their home country through the internet. They can find out what type of part time jobs are available and what type of accommodation is being provided. They can also know about the transportation facilities that can connect them from off-campus sites.
Likes (Indian Food): London itself is the most diversified city in the world. Indian food is in the top list in the UK market. As vegan population is increasing more and more, we can get our options more easily as mostly Indian students prefer vegetarian options for their daily diet.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): One needs a sponsorship for Tier 2 visa after post study work visa. So it’s not that easy to get sponsored in this market. However, being a Brunel student, I can do my placement year which will allow me to get more chances of being sponsored by Tier 2 firms.
