Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management - Batch of 2024
4.1
Fun loving and an easy going college.
Tips: You will like the college as there isn't much you need to know except the transport issue. Part time jobs are available in Castlegar, Trail and Nelson. Secondly, there isn't entertainment here, apart from a theatre in Castlegar. But in Nelson fun and entertainment is there.
Likes (Value for money): It's affordable and the faculty is very good with good classrooms and all. Class hours will be 2 hours, and in between, you will get 5-10 mins of break as well. In the whole day, you will have 1-2 or 2-3 classes, that's it. There is a sports area where you can spend your time.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is very limited bus facility from Mon-Fri. It starts at 6.30 AM and the final bus leaves at 6.30 PM. However, duration between buses is minimum 1-2 hours, so if you miss a bus then you need to wait for an hour.
Secondly, there is only one taxi in the whole Castlegar, and you need to call them and inform to come to your place. You need to have a bicycle or a car for transportation.

Graduate Certificate in Business Management - Batch of 2024
Offered by Fanshawe College
4.4
The faculty are very helpful and understanding.
Tips: If you are considering studying at Fanshawe College, be sure to apply for international scholarships and awards that are listed on the Fanshawe Academic Works website. Also, consider joining campus volunteering groups to build connections, as getting references is important for getting a job. While you are studying, focus on your studies first; earning money can come later. As of December 2024, I would not recommend coming to Canada for studies if you plan to settle here, as the government is imposing many barriers.
Likes (Quality of faculty): All of my professors were incredibly helpful and kind, and I still keep in touch with them even though I am no longer a student. Business management primarily involves case-based studies, where you earn marks based on in-class participation. Most of the professors are Canadian.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fees are higher, but you can recover that money within 3 to 4 years if you secure a decent job afterwards. There are both pros and cons to studying abroad. One important question to consider is whether it is worth being away from your family for this opportunity.

Graduate Certificate in regulatory Affairs and Quality Operations (Co-op) - Batch of 2024

The university offers great guidance and support.
Tips: Be prepared for academic integrity. If you are someone highly reliant on AI, it will not work well here in Canadian Colleges. The importance of self done work is high and appreciated. The support provided from the college and the Student Union is commendable and every student must take benefit of that. Students can apply for various awards and bursaries that have cash prizes involved. The bus pass is included the fee that makes traveling through the local transmit easy and at no additional cost. Overall, I highly recommend this college.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The programme has a focus on pharmaceuticals, food, medical devices, cannabis, and natural health products, and all of these are growing industries and their need will never decrease. Also, RA/QA is a very niche field and the country needs more professionals who can work in these roles. Also, the programme does align with new work permit requirements since it is related to healthcare.
Dislikes (Internships): The programme at Fanshawe College is a niche program. While the program does not have an internship component, the last semester is a co-op work term that is not compulsory. The college provides amazing support, but students must also put in the effort themselves. The college also accepted pharmacy assistant roles as co-op placements.

It is affordable and provide quality education .
Tips: Do your own research and look for scholarships.
Talk with the faculty members. Look for every possible option to make you better. You will find various people from around the world. It is a safe environment for learning and having fun. The co-op course helps to build Canadian work experience.
Likes (Public transportation): It is located in the best possible location. It is in a safe area. Along with that, the scenery surrounding the campus is really beautiful. You can focus on studying while being a member of a club. You can also choose a location accordingly. You can participate in various events on campus.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The faculty members immediately react to any queries. The process is really simplified by the faculty. We have every possible facility. Read the website and prospectus carefully. The teachers are helpful and kind. The students are from around the glob, which makes learning fun and interesting.
