My experiences in the University of Alberta was good.
Tips: The university is in Edmonton. Weather goes to -30 degrees in winter. Cannabis is legal here, so you will see many addicts on the street. Many homeless people near the downtown area. So avoid downtown. I am not that satisfied with my degree. I wanted to switch from software development to machine learning developed with this degree but I don't think I can do it.
Likes (Public transportation): Rate 5 due to robust public transportation. Campus seamlessly connected to the city via buses and Metro. The whole city is well connected. Transportation cost is included in the tuition fees. No need to pay extra for transportation. Uber is easily available if you want to go to a remote destination.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Rated 3 on post-study jobs due to limited visa sponsorship. Unsure about specific companies. Generally, job roles vary, but the average salary in Edmonton post-studies is around 50k. I got a job through my professor, got lucky with this one. But do not expect the same thing to happen with every student.

Enriching journey at University of Alberta.
Tips: Arriving here marked the beginning of an intriguing chapter. The cultural shift tough at times perplexing unfolded into a tapestry of new perspectives and experiences. Graced by a scholarship to academic achievements, it is not just a financial aid but a recognition that fuels my academic journey. My contentment with the university, the enriching course and the country is akin to finding harmony in this vibrant symphony of education and cultural exploration.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of PR in Canada seem promising and I genuinely aspire to make it my permanent home. I appreciate the country's different cultures opportunities and quality of life, making it an ideal place for long-term settlement. The desire for PR with my positive experiences and aspirations for the future in this welcoming and vibrant nation.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The city from the campus is easy as there are frequent bus services. The bus stops are conveniently located, making it hassle-free for students to access public transportation. Buses are a popular mode of travel and are known for being affordable, which is great for us on a low budget. The simple city of the bus system in Canada widespread availability makes it a convenient option for exploring the city and commuting to various places.

My journey here was amazing and exposure at University of Alberta is great.
Tips: Definitely there is a cultural shift. It is more about individuals here. Moreover, received a fund of around 21000 CAD/year, which covers my course fees, accommodation, and my living accommodation. This fund is part of my scholarship where the course fee is around 11k/year. CAD and for me the accommodation cost is around 580 CAD. I was very much satisfied with my university. One thing more is that I also received a one-time scholarship of 5000 CAD at the beginning of my programme.

University of Alberta focuses on excellence
Tips: When students move abroad for their academics then they should know what type of struggle they can face in a foreign country. Because there is a significant change in culture so be fully prepared for doing self-work, and cooking because you have to cook your own food. The university is academically excellent and the teaching style is different.
Likes (Value for money): University of Alberta is one of the most highly ranked universities in Canada. And their teaching method, teaching quality is best for me and also for all the other students. I chose computer science course in BS and I am satisfied, I think the course is value for money because I learned lots of things and gained practical knowledge.
Dislikes (Part time work): Now all the scenarios are totally changed because all over the world most students move to Canada that's why competition increased. And if you want part time job then you will have to do hard work to find any part-time job. If you have the skill to do jobs on campus then you should apply as soon as possible. When I did part time along with studying I could easily manage my time.

Tips: Canada is foreigner country. So obviously there are many culture difference. But I love the culture here. Likes (Safety): Safety is the first priority of University of Alberta for students. Campus security team available 24/7 to maintain safe and secure campus environment. University of Alberta provide safety and security programme. Security patrol the campus and respond in emergency.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are many food option available in Edmonton but the thing is foods are very expensive. Our area have different types of foods like Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican etc. If you are international student and doing part time job then the food is expensive for you. I prefer eating from home and cooking by myself, because it is very cheap.

Life changing college for me.
Tips: I am very shy type boy but after coming to Canada I completely changed and my network is big in Canada. When you leave your home country no one can be with you so you are solely facing all the problems and it is life changing for me. This country culture is different. I am not eligible for applying scholarship because my IELTS band is low. But I enjoyed to live in this country.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is best in university of alberta. Because they gives university of alberta student U-pass and who have U-pass they can unlimited access to light rail and tansit buses. It is more affordable compare to buy daily ticket. So most of the student have U-pass. And it's affordable.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Because our area lack of availability of Indian food. In our local area Indian foods are hard to find. Most of the hotel and restaurants are non-vegetarian. But all the foods are available in Edmonton. And eating outside is very costly for international students. So I prefer to cook by myself at home.

University of Alberta offers fantastic teaching quality.
Tips: I didn't experience any cultural shift after coming to Canada because in this country Indian population is good. So it will be easy to cope with them. However, there was some cultural differences in terms of cooking and part time work experience. I didn't apply for any internship cause my rank was too low. University of Alberta is one of the best universities for me and I love Canada.
Likes (Indian Food): All the types of restaurants are available for you, if you want to eat non-veg or veg. Mostly non-veg restaurants are here. If you don't know cooking you can eat tiffin. Indian foods are also available in the area. But if you eat outside in restaurants or hotels it will be expensive. You can cook for yourself at home and it will be cheap. So I prefer cooking and before moving to Canada please learn cooking.
Dislikes (Internships): University of Alberta faculty members are helpful in finding internships and applying. Faculty have good knowledge about field-related internships so if you have any doubts related to the internship you can contact them and they will resolve your problem. If you want to do field related internship you can meet the faculty.

Off campus job is quite difficult to get but you apply all places and definitely you got a once place. Part time job is manageable because you have 20 hours to do job and all time you are free then you can study free time so part time job alnog with academics is manageable for me.
Dislikes (Student Life): I spend my time in campus to do many activities and some events. I enjoy in campus because campus environment is totally different and I loved my spent more and more time in campus. Many events organized by university are orientation week, guest lectures and speaker series, arts and culture events, sports and atheletics events and many more. I love the college so much I have learnt so many things and would suggest that you should go there
Tips: This is one of the best college but there is only one problem which is related to Indian food. Except that it is so wonderful and you would get a new experience there you can feel homesick in the beginning but the environment is so friendly that you will feel so good and forget about home after few days.
Likes (Safety): I gave high rating because I feel safe there you can go out on roads any time without any safety concerns. When I get bored of studies I hangout at midnight I never find anything suspicious and always feel so safe there even in campus outside campus localities everywhere.

Downtown Excellence in the heart of Montreal.
Tips: I am satisfied with my university, Concordia University. It has a large, modern infrastructure, and the professors are friendly. I love the cultural diversity of Montreal, but my course is quite challenging. I am not sure about the country as a whole, because I have not had the opportunity to travel to other provinces. So far, I like Montreal. If you are considering Concordia University, be aware that French is important, and you should be open to learning a new language. The Quebec government provides free French language classes. Also, scholarships are available for undergraduate students, but scholarships for graduate students are only available to Canadian citizens.
Likes (Public transportation): You have to buy and recharge your STM card i.e., opus card for students, which costs around $60/month. With this card, you can travel on all local buses and the metro. It's easy and useful, and one card is enough to travel anywhere in Montreal. It's very convenient.
Dislikes (Part time work): As a fresher, I found it difficult to get a part-time job, especially at the front desk, because I didn't know French well enough. In this province, most people speak French, and you have to be bilingual knowing French and English to get a job. I had to learn French at an intermediate level before I could get a job.

Great and diverse opportunity for everyone.
Tips: Students should be prepared to work hard at Concordia University. International students might find some courses a bit tough. Don't be shy about asking basic questions; everyone here is quite helpful. I got my doctoral stipend, which includes TA, RA, and a scholarship and that's around 25K Dollars/year. Although the economic situation in the country is falling from what it was 5 years ago.
Likes (Post study jobs): Every graduate I know got a high-paying job in Canada or abroad. In the teaching field, there are many multinational companies that hire freshers, and there are many internship opportunities as well. However, the part-time job market is declining nowadays.
Dislikes (Safety): Due to recent violent anti-Israel protests, there was a fire in an old port and a murder on one of the campuses. The authorities are fast to act but for a peaceful city like Montreal, this is rare. I hope people can voice their concerns peacefully. Also due to the easy availability of drugs and alcohol crimes are rising too.

I feel good in this university. I got 8 months internship also I learned many skills from my field.
Tips: I am fully satisfied with this university. Because I learned many skills in my field. Moreover university provide us free laptop, I-pad, and calculator for 1-2 days. Which is a good thing for international students. Also, I like overall all the facilities provided by the university such as Moodle to get subject details.
Likes (Student Life): I am spending more than 6-7 hours a day in the university. I like to meet my friends and make new connections. People potatoes provide us free food that I like most. GSA are 2 community for students who organise many events for getting jobs, internships, reviewing resumes and many more events.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I will definitely take PR in this country. Here it is not easy to get PR in Quebec. For that reason, I started to learn French language to get province PR. In other provinces we need more points to get PR eg.550 plus. I have work experience in India so it's easy to get PR.

Montreal Insights: Learn French. Overall good student experience.
Tips: Before joining Concordia students should be aware of the language preference in QC. Here French is mandatory. On arriving, I experienced a cultural shift due to the prevalence of French in daily life. I did not secure any scholarship because the scholarship is available only for researchers and Ph.D. candidates.
Likes (Safety): Throughout Canada, Montreal is one of the safest places for immigrants. People are generally polite and friendly. The police force is really good if you know French, they are always patrolling the area near the downtown. This place is ideal if you have the basics of French and if you are willing to learn French.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Montreal, particularly QC, has its challenges for permanent settlement. French proficiency is crucial for obtaining PR and the region has notable issues like inflation, housing crises and high tax labs which can impact one's financial outlook. Consider these factors while you select this particular province for higher education.

Tips to surviving in a French province.
Tips: Quebec is a French speaking province. It would be beneficial from the viewpoint of both a temporary resident and getting a permanent residency to at least learn b1 level French before coming here. However, there are government-affiliated classes here too.
Likes (Part time work): Being a downtown campus there are tons of places offering part-time work and getting around the city by public transport is pretty easy and cheap(only $58 for a monthly pass and it works for the bus and metro) making it easier to look for jobs a bit away from downtown too.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a few Indian restaurants around the neighbourhood since it is a downtown campus. However, among vegetarian options, they offer very few choices. I usually prefer to cook my own meals at home. There are several Indian grocery stores so it is easy to get veggies and masalas.
