The university has an amazing campus and well-trained faculties.
Tips: When you're looking for scholarships, it's important to look at the job market in the field you're interested in. If you can get a university-sponsored internship, that would be a great opportunity to gain experience and get paid. Birmingham is a city with multiple universities and a big crowd of students, so it can be difficult to find part-time work, on or off campus. However, if you do land a part-time job, the pay is the minimum wage, which is not bad. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.

The faculty is very friendly and the classes are very interactive and engaging.
Tips: I have grown as a person, become more independent, and more mature since entering university. There were some cultural shocks and differences, but mostly how kind and accepting most people were. That feels like the norm now. I did not receive any scholarships, but I am very satisfied with my university experience.
Likes (Safety): I have a very active social life at the University of Birmingham. I spend my time studying, attending class, and working out at the gym. If I have any energy left, I like to go out with friends. There are many social events on campus that I can attend. The student body is very diverse, and everyone is kind and accepting of everyone else. The staff is very helpful and always there to support and talk to new students.
Dislikes (Student Life): The staff at the University of Birmingham are very kind and helpful. The university is incredibly inclusive and diverse, and the staff is very attentive to everyone's problems. The faculty does its best to offer fruitful solutions and help students and staff in the best way they can. The staff is very diverse and well spread out.

University of Birmingham is a great all-rounded university.
Tips: Coming to study at the University of Birmingham is a good place to get accustomed to changes in your lifestyle. The university is very welcoming, and there are quite a few scholarships that you can apply for on a merit basis. I have not applied for Permanent Settlement in the country, but I would consider staying here if I could. The University makes you aware of many opportunities that could help you transition into settling down here. Overall, I am very satisfied with the University.
Likes (Part time work): The University of Birmingham provides several opportunities for part-time and casual work. You can manage both academics and part-time work, but off-campus opportunities may require more time and effort. You get paid on an hourly basis, at an average rate of 11 per hour.

Thriving at the Univeristy of Birmingham: Independence, diversity, and opportunity.
Tips: As for the University of Birmingham, it is a great university that prepares you well for the world where you are no longer a kid who only has to worry about grades. Coming here has taught me to be independent financially and mentally. The campus is very diverse which lets me immerse in different cultural experiences. The student union is always there to support you from safety to mental well-being. The University also celebrates every cultural festival from Diwali to Ramadan, which never gives you the feeling of a home away from home. I did secure an academic scholarship for my course which is funded by the university themselves. Although the cost of living is quite high at the moment. But other than that, this is an amazing opportunity for me where I get to do a course I love at an exceptional Russel group university at the heart of Birmingham that offers all the support and advice.
Likes (Internships): The University has a huge careers network, with each college having its own. They provide excellent one-to-one advice on getting work experience, internships, volunteering, full-time jobs, etc. They also provide several other services like mock interviews that prepare you for the real challenge in the application process. For students with zero or very limited experience, the University offers a programme called B-Experienced, through which internships provided by companies offer special spots for students from the University of Birmingham. Hence when it comes to work experience and career in general, the University of Birmingham is a great choice.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The current UK government has tightened immigration policies, which might make permanent immigration options a bit harder. Also, if you secure a good job in a company that is ready to sponsor you, then that's great. However, most postgraduate students struggle with this aspect.

University of Birmingham does not provide any internship for international students.
Tips: It is always better to connect with multiple people and faculty members to know what's going on near you and what opportunities exist for the future. I also think joining societies is a great option to keep the stream off while enjoying your university experience. Public transportation in Birmingham is good. It connects the whole city and buses are frequent. However, buses may be delayed due to various reasons, which can be a problem for students commuting to lectures or work during peak hours. I suggest checking the routes and buses beforehand so that you know the average commute time.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I was an international student at the University of Birmingham. I found that there were no jobs at all for international students. I faced extreme competition in finding jobs, and the university didn't provide any guidance or help with these issues. This made the situation worse than it might have been otherwise.

University of Birmingham has a beautiful and huge campus.
Tips: The campus is beautiful and there are a lot of activities to do, so you won't feel bored during your initial couple of weeks. After that you get busy with assignments and academics, so you'll spend most of the time going back and forth from the lectures to your accommodation, and part-time work. Like in India, there's not much pressure on studies, which can either be a good or a bad thing. I'm happy with the fact that the university is well-recognised and gives students career guidance. The current job market is tough in the UK to get a job, so only time will tell whether it's worth it or not.
Likes (Safety): Safety can be a matter of different experiences for different people. I never had safety concerns even when walking down the street late at night. Of course, you need to be a bit cautious of your surroundings. The campus does provide an app, and some safety gadgets during the welcome week, as well as a free bus to Sell Oak to travel when it gets dark during winter.
Dislikes (Public transportation): You can travel by train or bus. Buses are usually more connected than trains but are generally late, and it doesn't matter if you check the scheduled time on Google Maps or bus stop, they will make you wait for 15-20 minutes 90% of the time. I also don't think public transport is very affordable. It's 2 pounds for a ticket whether you want to get off at the Next bus stop or after the 15 bus stop. A monthly bus pass is now 49 pounds for students, but they keep increasing the price every year. Last year it was 46 pounds.

It is a fun place if you know how to live up to it.
Tips: It was not much of a transition apart from the weather and the teaching style. I did not avail of any scholarship. However I have question myself several times as to why I chose this course. The lecturers could have a better way to teach than the way they did. There are on-campus events held for students to interact and build connections. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the university and country.

An amazing experience that needs a closure.
Tips: Students should be open to everything the university has to offer. Embrace the life that comes along with it. It's simple but effective in the long run, and you won't regret it later on. Of course, there will always be things you couldn't be a part of, but that's okay. Cherish the rest of your time there, and you'll look back and cherish it all for sure. I'm pretty satisfied with my time at University College Dublin.
Likes (Part time work): They've got a pretty good system for roles within the university and I'm a recipient of them. If going through the right channel and succeed in your interviews/assessment centres, the opportunities within the university are crazy for part-time. It is quite manageable with your coursework given the fact that you have good time management skills. The average payout is 12/hour.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's pretty fragile and extremely difficult to obtain sponsorship after the course commences and the Graduate visa is granted. I wouldn't likely want to permanently immigrate here as I've got other preference in life and this country doesn't fulfil them all.

Navigating growth, challenges, and opportunity in university life.
Tips: Before starting university, make sure you're comfortable with basic household tasks like cooking and cleaning. Students spend a lot of time studying, and learning these skills ahead of time can save you considerable time and help you keep up with the assignments, attend classes, and still enjoy university life. Birmingham is a fantastic city with access to nearly everything you might need, from Indian utensils and spices to food and there's almost nothing you won't find. However, if your mood is affected by the weather, be prepared for long stretches of gray, rainy days, with little sunlight for 6-7 months. The climate can be challenging, so building emotional resilience is helpful as well.
Likes (Public transportation): Buses are very frequent and you can get a bus in 5-10 minutes. The university has also its own bus service which is run for specific routes every day. The university has an integrity rail on the campus which also connects to the major and minor stations of the city.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): All the big 4 and MBB companies visited the university for the job fairs and offered internships and advice for the proper route for full-time jobs and with several on-campus activities to polish your soft and hard skills. The starting salary of a Business analyst with no or little experience at all is 338500 to 346000.

University of Birmingham - A hub for academics from all walks of life.
Tips: Living in the first year with flatmates of many backgrounds was interesting however there was not a huge cultural shift. There is a requirement to stay social which can be achieved by joining clubs and societies- sports are highly appreciated. The University Campus is a mixture of historical and modern, almost a reflection of the country. There is a large level of diversity with people from all walks of life. Especially in the course lectures where almost everyone comes from somewhere different.
Likes (Internships): The internship process has been made very simple here at the University. There have been resources provided such as for writing the CV or preparing for an interview. The status of the University is also strong enough that it creates a small advantage over some of the other applicants.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I am still studying at the University and therefore do not have a strong idea as to how helpful they are in assisting for long-term jobs. However, they do provide resources that can aid in CV writing and interview practice which will help when applying for such jobs.

They should also know about all the opportunities the university has provided, such as jobs, internships, and part-time work. There are many extra activities they can do in university life, which include joining various student groups so that they can elevate their knowledge and boost their confidence.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The university has provided us with every facility including part-time jobs and student support groups. You can explore many things while studying. Such as if you want to study further or not. They learn how to take steps forward in their life when it comes to professional life.
Dislikes (Part time work): The teaching staff is incredibly talented and diverse. They come from different backgrounds and try to connect with students. Teaching professionals are so mature and full of knowledge they try to understand every doubt students have regarding their studies.

It was a good experience with great faculty.
Tips: There was definitely a cultural shift. The people, food, and traditions are definitely different here and it will take some time to get used to all the changes but it is manageable. It can be overwhelming at times. For data science, since it's a demanding course they do not provide any kind of scholarship so that's a sad thing.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a crazy amount of restaurants and cuisines for all kinds of people and cultures. The prices are alright but some of the restaurants do offer students discounts so that is a good thing. The food is good and you basically have millions of options to choose from.
Dislikes (Value for money): I really liked the campus and the facilities were good. I would recommend trying to get a job at the university as it is definitely beneficial. The university shares a lot of resources so there is no need to invest in any kind of personal resources. There are lots of career fairs and opportunities but it's difficult for international students to get a decent full-time job.

My Great College Experience.
Tips: I got the opportunity to connect with a lot of students and made some great friends. I also had the opportunity to do an internship and gain some valuable experience in the UK market. The university has a lot of cultural societies that put on a variety of events, so there's always something to do. The university also offers scholarships for international students, which is a big help. I stood for the selection in my university and won that with a good number of votes and currently, I am working with the University as an Activities and Employability Officer. I'm very happy with my university experience and would highly recommend it to anyone considering studying abroad.
Likes (Internships): The University of Birmingham provides a lot of guidance and opportunities for students. The university has partnered with many startup companies to offer internships. These internships are called B-Experienced Internships, and they offer a variety of roles to appeal to a wide range of students. The internships last for 20 days, which students can complete in two to three months while they are studying. Students who complete these internships can earn up to 1600 Pounds.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The University of Birmingham has lots of career fairs for specific fields and also some of them provide visa-sponsored jobs. The university also provides some visa sponsor jobs to international students. There are various job roles like Business Development Manager, Communication and Marketing roles and supply chain management roles and students expect their starting package from 24000 to 35000 Pounds.

BA Politics and International Relations - Batch of 2026
4.7
An enriching and challenging experience at the University of Birmingham.
Tips: Before joining the University of Birmingham, students should know the workload can be challenging, especially if you're in a theory-heavy programme like Politics and International Relations, so it's essential to be prepared for a rigorous academic environment. It's also a socially diverse campus, with students from various backgrounds and countries, which enhances both academic and social life. In the UK there's a strong emphasis on independent study, which took some adjusting, but I found it to be a rewarding shift. Cultural, I experienced some differences, especially in communication style and social interactions. People here are generally more direct, and campus life is quite dynamic. It took some time, but the support from faculty and student services really helped me find my footing. I didn't avail of a scholarship upon entering, but the university offers a range of financial support options for international students. These scholarships typically require an application with an emphasis on academic merit or extracurricular achievements, and the allowance can vary depending on the specific award. It's definitely worth exploring these options, as the funding can significantly ease living expenses. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my university, course, and the experience of studying in the UK.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are not only knowledgeable but also highly supportive and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. The professors in my department bring a strong balance of academic expertise and real-world experience, which makes the lectures engaging and practical. The faculty is quite accessible and approachable. They offer regular office hours and are responsive to emails, often willing to meet outside scheduled times if students need extra guidance. They also create an open, inclusive environment where questions and discussions are encouraged, which makes learning collaborative and less formal. One unique aspect of the teaching methodology here is the emphasis on critical thinking and open debate. Instead of focusing solely on lectures, the department encourages seminars, group projects, and case studies, which bring theory to life and push us to apply our understanding to current events and global issues.
Dislikes (Indian Food): While there are some good Indian restaurants in Birmingham, I often find the authenticity of flavour to be lacking compared to what I'm used to back home. Dishes can feel modified to suit a broader palate, which sometimes takes away from the original taste. In terms of local dining, Birmingham has a range of options, from budget-friendly takeaways to high-end dining. You can find everything from Indian and Middle Eastern to Italian and Asian fusion restaurants. Prices vary, with casual places typically costing 8-15 per meal, while higher-end spots can be 30 or more per person. I do enjoy eating out occasionally, especially for social gatherings, but overall, I prefer cooking for myself. Preparing meals at home allows me to have control over ingredients and flavour, so I can make dishes closer to what I enjoy back in India.

The transition from non-tech to tech was amazing yet challenging.
Tips: Students must be aware of academic rigour and how demanding a Masters degree can be for a single year. Be prepared for challenging modules and an in-depth understanding of the key modules is important. It is quintessential to explore all the resources and student support available at the university. Utilize the careers services of your campus and leverage it to upskill the job search.
Likes (Internships): UoB has a vibrant, inclusive community and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities available. The University offers various societies, hackathons and career events to foster personal growth and networking. There are sports nights at Joe's bar and multiple student engagement events going on throughout the year at the UoB campus.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The University of Birmingham faculty are exceptionally knowledgeable and accessible, blending industry experience with academic rigour. Their teaching emphasises practical, hands-on learning through tools like the Bloomberg Terminals, making courses highly relevant. The faculty's diverse nationalities further offer global perspectives.

3.5
An experience of self-improvement through determination.
Tips: Students, before joining this university, should know what they are signing up for, once you start this journey there is no going back. It's a costly university with the Russel Group brand name, you will have one of the best campus life and will meet some great people. There were no major cultural shifts as such except for the English accent. You feel excited and safe when you arrive here. You will require some time to settle and understand the UK culture, transportation, best shopping grocery stores such as Lidl and Aldi. I did not get any scholarship as I was in business school, for the rest there were GBP 2,000 Global Masters Scholarships for every student. You should start applying to get them as soon as possible before your applications. I am quite satisfied with the life I spent on campus, the journey that made me what I am today. The course and modules were easygoing and not that stressful. If you are willing to put in the bare minimum effort, you will pass your degree easily.
Likes (Student Life): I used to attend 3 to 4 days of lectures a week, study in the library and attend ongoing events around campus to meet people and socialize. I used to enjoy walking around the campus, having fun with friends and going on trips organised by the school. Events such as the union of students selection, fests, international mixers, club and society events, freebies by awareness campaigns, etc. Used to keep happening, conducted by societies like- international students, Hindu, and Indian societies, or by the guild of students.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The companies that provide sponsored jobs are the ones that have a budget as well as which are looking for candidates for a longer time like 5 years by providing them 2 years of training. The average Salary package of a graduate is around GBP 26,000 to 35,000. But it depends on work experience and skill set.

The University of Birmingham provides lots of opportunities and great student life.
Tips: It took me some time to understand the difference, adapt and adjust to the British weather, people, money management, and social life balance along with work or studies. But if you are determined, active, and adaptable, it will be a lot easier for you to go through the transition. Cultural shifts were people are really polite, humble, helpful and tend to keep privacy for themselves as well as for others. Roads are safe for pedestrians, people are generally nice to others and strangers, and they focus on mental health and physical health. They are compassionate about other people's choices and concerns and don't judge others based on anything. I am quite satisfied with my university as I expected. The course can be modified and updated to make it much better and to provide better learning for students to retain all modules taught in a short 1 year time. Marking has been tough and many tend to barely pass in a few of the assignments or modules, so it's important to create a balance. The UK is a demanding country, it demands physical strength, mental strength and a financial solid background to sustain besides providing a healthy and safe life and a wealthy lifestyle as well, for those who put in hard work.
Likes (Student Life): There are classes/lectures on 3-4 days of the week. I get ready for the lecture, prepare my food or lunch, and leave early to reach classes on time. I enjoy studying, visiting the library, walking around campus, meeting friends, talking to people, and attending ongoing events. Events such as Hall reps, guild of students, student union events, events by university for information and awareness, cultural events fests, and events conducted by societies such as Horror movie society, Hindu society, International society, Business society, etc. are there to participate in.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Career fairs for different departments continue on campus. Around 20-40 companies exhibit and students can talk directly to them and learn how to apply for the jobs they are hiring for. Sponsorships are limited and difficult to obtain. A detailed list of companies in the UK that provide sponsorship is on the UK government website. Around 5-10% of companies offer sponsorship, such as for graduate schemes for graduate roles at annual salary packages starting from an average of GBP 30,000 to 35,000 annually, and even more for direct entry jobs and if you have more experience (DOE). HSBC, Barclays, S&P Global, Fidelity International, Black Rock, and Brain and Co. are some companies that sponsor international talent.

Tips: I am glad that I chose the University of Birmingham for my study abroad. The city is vibrant and beautiful, and the resources provided by the university made my transition smooth. I also had a lot of options to choose from for internships, and all of the opportunities were paid.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer to cook my own food because the taste is better and the price is much higher. A normal meal at a restaurant would cost you around 20 Pounds. Tips: A lot of cultural shocks await you when you come to the UK. Just experience your life to the fullest and don't be afraid to try new things. Before you come, prepare your backpacks and remember to bring a travel adapter for the UK, a power bank, and anything else you might need. Dislikes (Value for money): I believe the fees at the University of Birmingham are too high for an average Indian household. I paid 26000 GBP as a tuition fee, which is high compared to other universities in Birmingham. While the university is part of the Russell Group, its fees are still too high.

Tips: There is a huge cultural shift when it comes to living, food habits, and ways of studying. It is not hard to adjust, but it might take some time, with a positive approach, it is easy to get along with time. The university provides various aids and scholarships. Students need to contact the admissions teams for more information on scholarships and financial aid for specific subjects. I'm highly satisfied with the university and faculty. It might take time to get accustomed to the weather as Indians are not habituated to 6 months for winter.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The best part about the university is the faculty which is easygoing and understanding. Being an international student might be overwhelming but their mental health support and each student gets a personal mentor to discuss not only academic problems but about personal ongoing problems if needed.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The permanent settlement option depends on your will to try. Like India, there is no on-campus placement system so it has to be one's own hard work and capability of networking to crack a job. BSc Physics - Batch of 2025
Offered by King's College London
3.1
King's College London does not provide much internship opportunities.
Tips: There was not much of a cultural shift. Coming from a metropolitan city, like Delhi, to another metropolitan didn't seem like much of a difference. The only thing that is needed to get used to the city is the cost of living. Takes about a month or so to adjust to the cost of daily expenses. I did not get any scholarships as I am not eligible for any. Being an Indian male studying Physics doesn't really suit the majority of scholarships at King's. The teaching faculty is generally good but the admin staff is not that great for our department. They will always find a way to make you run around to get basic things like your marks or even exam papers. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Public transportation): Covent Garden and Holborn station are within walking distance of campus, but using public transportation can quickly become expensive if you exceed your budget. Buses are a good alternative, but convenience depends on where you live and the route you travel. The tube is definitely faster.
Dislikes (Internships): There is not much support from the university. Generally, one has to be part of the relevant student groups/societies to get an idea of how the internship process works in the field of choice. The university has some help available to review CVs/Cover Letters and a practice interview round.

BEng Biomedical Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by King's College London
4.1
The transition to London helped me gain social skills and boost confidence.
Tips: London can be incredibly expensive. However, there are several ways to find affordable ways of living as a student so ensure you do your research before moving to London. KCL and London in general are very metropolitan so there are countless cultures and ethnicities to mingle with, making it smooth and quite enjoyable. For scholarships, it's quite difficult to avail of any as most are offered to Masters students and the UK very rarely offers scholarships for international students. However, there are different ways to avail of bursaries depending on your university/course. Students should ensure they do extensive research as they tend to be hidden.
Likes (Public transportation): London's public transport is world-renowned, very well-connected, and also very easy to navigate and understand. However, it does tend to be quite expensive if you live far from the city centre. There are buses, the London Underground and the London Overground. Most train services end at night but on the weekend, there are night tubes that run late into the night so it's possible to get home after night out.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is quite difficult to secure a job if you're not studying for a highly-value degree. Visa sponsorship is quite easy to secure, especially at bigger firms. Again, depending on the major studied, salaries and roles can range from impossible to secure to incredible remunerative.

MSc in Banking & Finance - Batch of 2024
Offered by King's College London
3.9
One of the financial hubs in the world does help you to transform.
Tips: King's College provides you with various opportunities to showcase your talent. I did transition after coming here both academically and personally. I did not get any scholarships but the college does provide them and other financial aid is available as well.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty here is really qualified with much knowledge and expertise. Most of them work in the banking and finance fields simultaneously. Friendly, helpful and very much approachable if needed. Teaching methods are also very up-to-date and provide access to financial software such as Bloomberg, Stata and MATLAB.
Dislikes (Value for money): Being an international student, 40 Lakhs of tuition fees for one year of Masters degree plus living expenses in London, with no job placement and security, the value for money is not justified. Part-time work hours for students are also very restricted.

Great but could be better
Tips: The process of shifting is quite well but learn to find all the contacts needed beforehand to solve issues. Contact people and don't hesitate. Find fixed places to eat quickly. Join forums or clubs etc. in case you will feel lonely really fast even if you have friends. Talk to everyone a little and branch out.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself but there are still many Indian food options in London. Most of them are quite well made as well. As for pricing, it's cheaper if you go to the restaurant and not if you order at home. Try to find places with student discounts because they have many of those.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It has quite a direct way of immigration if you're a student. There's the graduate visa option for now which can give you time to search for jobs etc. There are also a lot of immigrants which shows it's not exactly impossible. The only issue is the current government which may come out with new policies making it tough.

Overall good experience at KCL.
Tips: The city is good. The course has a great structure and the university has a lot of resources. The degree is tough but rewarding. There are a lot of opportunities for internships/placements. Living in London is a great experience (barring the slight safety problems).
Likes (Public transportation): London has very accessible public transport. Between the tube, overground, national express, bus, night buses and walking, I think it's possible to get anywhere in London. As a student, you also get a discount on public transport. It's available most times of the day and is very convenient to use.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's possible to get permanent immigration, but it's difficult to get a sponsorship. It truly depends on what course you're doing and what market you're applying for jobs in. If I had the chance I would consider permanently migrating to the UK for sure. The job prospects and academic potential here are far higher than my country of origin.

Most beautiful campus in London
Tips: It is a top university and one of the best in the UK. Its campuses are at the heart of London, with so many sites and attractions nearby. However, this does mean the university is not for everyone as it is a very busy and fast-paced environment in London.
Likes (Quality of faculty): King's College London has amazing faculty members for all different departments. It also has several university campuses and student halls across London. The university has top-end lecture halls, laboratories and sports facilities. It has unarguably the best university campuses in London compared to other London universities.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Immigration lawns are very strict at the moment in the UK. Difficult to find jobs in the UK as a whole but is slightly easier to find jobs in London. This does however mean jobs, especially graduate jobs in London are very competitive. To get more immigration information please refer to the UK government website.

Once in a lifetime opportunity to study here.
Tips: One of the standout features of this university is the extensive array of societies. Whether one's passion lies in arts, sciences, sports or social causes, there is a society for everyone. The university also provides ample opportunities for students to work whilst studying, so they can develop their professional skills, gain valuable experience and manage their finances effectively, all while pursuing their academic endeavours.
Likes (Value for money): Once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will not regret it! It is a little expensive compared to other areas, but there is a lot to see and explore while studying at university. There are also a lot of universities in London so you get the chance to network with people from different courses, backgrounds and beliefs.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Not many jobs are available for post-graduates, but if you do get one they are quite good in terms of overall work culture and salary. I am not too sure about this topic as I am not a post-graduate, but there are quite a few people who are without a graduate scheme and some people who have secured amazing graduate schemes.

Amazing life at King's College London, UK
Tips: One of the best universities to get into. Also the life in London is amazing. The connectivity of public transport is something which is commendable. The college is in the heart of the city and has almost every facility available for students. The teachers are well experienced and helpful.
Likes (Student Life): Life at KCL is simply amazing. There are several things going on at any given point in time to keep the students engaged. The campus is clean and very near to the tube stations making it very convenient for the students to walk from tube to the college.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The faculty are very interactive and help out with any problems that students have. They have designed a very engaging way of studying and making the students understand the root of everything. For the final dissertation, the faculty will help you with everything to make it easier for you to research.

I personally feel King's college is among the top in U.K.
Tips: I suggest to make your profile strong as getting an offer from King's college is quite tough. After getting admitted, the next steps will be to get your email address and complete the online enrolment and campus registration. Kings will send you details about the next step so please make sure your contact details and UGAS are updated.

Risk Analysis, Disasters and Resilience MSc - Batch of 2023
Offered by King's College London
4.7
King's College London is expensive but worth it.
Tips: The courses are challenging, so you have to work hard. Make sure you attend classes regularly. You'll spend a lot of time at the library, so you need to learn how to manage your time and stay focused. The professors are great, the curriculum is amazing, and the people are very helpful. London life is amazing, and exploring the city was a lot of fun. The people are really nice, and you feel at home. Everything is very systematic, so you will have a lot of fun.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market is currently very bad in the UK, and immigrants are not being considered for employment. With the change in government, it has become even more difficult for immigrants to find employment. Graduate jobs do not pay well, so it is difficult to save money. However, overall my experience at KCL was great.

King's College London- Pre-planning and living in London Central.
Tips: There are no scholarships at King's. London is much more expensive than you think. The food is very bland, so you should know how to cook. The courses are highly competitive, and almost half of my class failed their first and second attempts. So, make sure you are here to study, because it will be a major factor moving forward. Choose your accommodations wisely. Options are university accommodations, off-campus shared houses near the university making travel costs almost zero but rent is too high as it is central London or off-campus accommodations that are farther away but less expensive.
Likes (Public transportation): I lived in central London near Borough station, and could walk to my university. However, the busses and tubes were equally convenient. Now that I live in the outskirts, I've noticed that there is public transportation to every corner of the city. In other cities, like Cardiff, where my friend lives, travel is limited to trains and occasional busses. London's public transportation is so good that you don't realize how good it is until you leave the city.
Dislikes (Value for money): I paid around 30 Lakhs INR, which I feel wasn't worth it because I really had to do most of the work myself and I also ended up writing the wrong exam, ultimately making me lose my distinction which isn't something I would expect when I pay so much for a university.

This college is best and will help you for everything you need
Tips: No racism is there in the college attendance is compulsory or you will be suspended from the college. The students should obey the rules and should be disciplined in the campus and should not fight with each other and fees should be paid on time.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): This college is best and the studies over here is good according to other colleges this college will help you and will effect your resume for higher job or higher profile and the value of degree over here is highly demanded in companies or firms.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The transportation over there is very bad but there is no public transport in that area and there is no bus so people book cabs to go college so it is very bad and many of them don't attend lectures due to this.
