Master in International Politics and Economics - Batch of 2023
3.8
A welcoming environment and great, understanding faculty.
Tips: I did not really know what to expect initially but I was pleasantly surprised as I found my university to be accommodating, especially in my field of study. It is located close to the city centre which is known as the centre- the square where all the happening spots are. The internships available are very limited and in my case, my programme is very niche hence there are limited opportunities in general. The college doesn't offer internship opportunities so you are on your own on this one and language becomes another barrier. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the experience here.

Master in International Cooperation on Human Rights and Intercultural Heritage - Batch of 2023
4.1
The university is decent but limited internship opportunities.
Tips: I think I have been quite satisfied with everything I learned and all the people I got to know during my time at the university. My only advice would be to keep an open mind and be flexible with whatever opportunity that comes your way. Learn Italian to communicate with the locals and it will also enhance your ability to get a job if you speak fluent Italian. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Internships): There are hardly any available opportunities for internships as Bologna is not very well connected as compared to other cities. There is more priority given to locals and the linguistic barrier becomes an added challenge, especially as an international student.

Valuable and a lovely experience to witness.
Tips: You will be living among some truly spectacular views as Bologna is a very pretty old city among the mountain range. The university is very welcoming and there is a very diverse variety of courses and programs offered so you should experiment. Various activities and events are happening on campus so make sure to participate in it and also explore the city as the transportation facility is great and affordable.

Interesting experience with lots of learning lesson.
Tips: I got to meet and interact with people from all over the world and that contributed to broadening my horizons and personality as well. Moreover, exploring Italy has been truly marvellous. If you decide to come here then make sure you realise that it is fundamentally different from cities like Milan and you'll need to understand basic Italian. People are warm so you shouldn't have a hard time setting in.

Great university with great and helpful faculty.
Tips: Students should know that the college is historic and it will really bring out the creative side of you even if you feel you do not have one. The food is great except you might get limited options for Indian food. The transportation facility is great so you should explore the scenic mountains as well if you are studying in Bologna.

The university has been fun and interesting experience worth to remember.
Tips: I was very keen on studying in Italy which is why I chose the University of Bologna and I have been happy with my decision so far. You will be exposed to a very historically yet diverse campus and people are quite happy to help, especially if you are new. I didn't receive any scholarships but I did get a lot of valuable exposure from here. The faculty is understandable and is ready to help anytime. Overall I am quite happy and satisfied with the course, college and the country.

It has been an enriching experience.
Tips: I have experienced a lot of independence and freedom by studying in Bologna. It is a scenic yet well-connected city so student life was extremely accommodating. Students should take this chance to explore the city as much as possible. I didn't get any grants or scholarships but that's also because I didn't apply for them. Overall, it has been a lovely experience.

Diverse, intricate and unique experience.
Tips: This college is good for the social sciences or a Masters programme. You will meet people who are very open and friendly and the campus is fairly accepting. Be careful with your belongings as there is a lot of pickpocketing throughout the city of Bologna.

Truly enriching and satisfying journey,
Tips: The best part so far has been the people and the faculty. I got to experience learning in a very practical and hands-on format which has been helpful. Students should talk to their counsellors and research about the university through virtual tours as well as community groups.

Learned and gained a lot of experiences.
Tips: The job market in the present day is a mess and so is the economy. You will really need to take advantage of whatever opportunity you can get where again you won't be prioritised. Come for the exposure and if immigration is your motive then Italy might give you a better chance than other European countries.

It helped me strengthen my academic foundation.
Tips: This university mainly specializes in business and finance-related degrees so if you're looking to pursue anything in that line, you can certainly go ahead. Take as many extra courses and internships as possible or else you will have to rely everything on yourself.

I am contended with my experiences at the University of Bologna.
Tips: It is important to remember that the campus is more towards the countryside of Italy as compared to places like Milan so you will have to adjust according. Make sure to get your student permits sorted else you can have a tough time. There is an Indian community as well in case you need assistance or familiarity.

Master in Politics Administration and Organization - Batch of 2023
3.9
Fun and learning in an open environment
Tips: I have finalised my transition, by joining university activities and university extra activities. But it takes time and patience. There are some lonely times. I didn't avail of any scholarships. I was quite satisfied with my university, course and country.
Likes (Public transportation): It is well organised and it connects almost all the campuses. There is an intermodal type of transportation. Public transportation is affordable and there are conventions with the subscription for students with a low ISEE (in proportion to your income).
Dislikes (Part time work): The availability of on-campus part-time jobs is not popular. I cannot recall any off-campus opportunities. It is not that easy to manage the part-time work along with the academics because there are work and university hours overlapping.
500-600 euros per month for a part-time work.

Every step of the way is crucial for your progress.
Tips: Students will need to make an effort to let themselves out of their shells and have a fulfilling college experience to find other like-minded individuals. University life is more leisurely here compared to other campuses but there is increased weightage on examinations. The country is safe and the transportation facilities are top notch and you can easily keep up with the routes as it is not that complex.

Good university for students who has an academic approach.
Tips: There are many things to consider when moving to a new country. It is a great opportunity to become more independent. You will learn new traditions and meet new people. There are many scholarships available, and the university is very supportive. The country is beautiful and very safe. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): This is a very good country to settle in permanently. There are many opportunities to find employment here, and there are many ways to obtain permanent citizenship. The process can be time-consuming and expensive, but it is definitely worth it.
Dislikes (Part time work): The average salary for a part-time job is 1000 euros. This is a reasonable amount that can be managed along with academics, and you will still have time for your studies. There are many opportunities for on-campus employment, such as working as a student assistant or teaching assistant.

Great professors, top notch apparatus, new learnings, and more sport options.
Tips: Before joining, students should learn German at any cost. Plus, brush up on the basics for whatever course you will pursue. Learning basic skills could help with your resume. Also, follow whatever opportunity comes in front of you because it is a bit difficult to find jobs. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my course, university and the country.
Likes (Post study jobs): Post-study jobs are good because Germany requires good-quality engineers. Also, the quality of education is top-notch. German is quite mandatory for post-study jobs also learn some additional skills that you think could help you find full-time jobs.
Dislikes (Internships): Guidance was given by professors but it takes upon the student to apply for internships. Germany does not follow the placement rule. Plus all the professors have good research topics and excellent knowledge about engineering. Moreover they also conduct industrial visits which helps students to better visualize how things work in Germany.
