The college is really nice and the faculty are very helpful.
Tips: The first few months are difficult, but then you get used to life socially. It is a bit difficult if you come in winter as the daylight is low and it's very quiet outside. You may feel depressed sometimes, but summers are really good, and you will love it. There is only one Indian restaurant among all the English restaurants in the area. However, there are good food options in Edgware and Watford, which are easily accessible by public transportation. St. Albans is another good option, but it is a bit more expensive. Eventually, you will get used to eating English food. Overall, I am satisfied with the country.
Likes (Part time work): You can find part-time jobs easily in local social warehouses. When you come to London, you should have a good CV. You can get a part-time job in a warehouse, and the DHL warehouse is a good option. However, be careful, as some agencies may try to deceive you.

The university is academically oriented and has a strong academics.
Tips: The university has an excellent program for students. The teachers take very good care of the students. The staff members are always very helpful, caring, and supportive. My teachers always give students personal attention, so everyone is always clear about their work. I never got bored or homesick while attending the University of Hertfordshire. The campus is huge and there are lots of activities to do. The university provides all the resources you need to feel at home, happy, and safe. I'm very happy with my university. I've learned a lot, and I'm very satisfied with the course and the country. I'd like to learn more in my field of study, and I feel that my university has helped me a lot.

Good academics but high cost and limited job support.
Tips: Students should know that the college offers good academics but limited career support and high living costs here involve adapting to a diverse culture and a more independent lifestyle. I didn't get a scholarship. Overall, I am satisfied with the university and course but the high expenses and the job market competitiveness in the country can be challenging.
Likes (Post study jobs): There are good post-study job appointments, but limited sponsorship options. Around 2030, most sponsored jobs are junior positions with a salary package of around 30,000 Pounds, depending on the industry.
Dislikes (Value for money): The education quality as decent, but the tuition fee is a bit high compared to the facilities and resources provided. More practical exposure and Oregon update resources would better justify the cost for the overall learning experience.

Tips: Expect only Asian and South African students in the class don't expect white people to be there. Classes are different and the college feels like we are in India because most of them are Indians. Save some money like 2000 atleast and don't keep expectation that you will get a part time job right after coming here and also learn driving before coming to the UK.
Likes (Value for money): Low feels good standards people are good and they won't force you to pay the feels and you can pay in monthly instalments as well so student friendly. You will get an attempt to the failed exams. In UK your college doesn't matter only your skills will.
Dislikes (Internships): There are people to guide you in every step from cv making and consulting about career. If you have the right skills it's easy to get a job here. Do online courses as much as you can and add up to your cv. Degree is only useful if you have skills you can work in any field in the UK.

Easy to access from London to university of Hertfordshire via king cross.
Tips: I didn't avail any kind of scholarship. There is always a cultural shift. When you travel from one country to another. I'm happy with my university and the course. On a scale of 5 I would rate 3.5. When you ask me about the country it's a beautiful country.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is 45 minutes from the city. You can get halfway from campus to the city by university bus and then use national rail. It's a bit expensive when it comes to travelling from campus to the city would be around 12 two-way if I'm not wrong. Public transportation in the city is cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): You get good guidance finding internships. They help you in and out how to prepare a CV as well. In every other university, they have it on their website or an app where you can find jobs related to your field. But getting an internship, in your respective field is hard.

Tips: This college is ranked among top University in the UK. So, students should know some important things before joining the college. They should take counselling for the process of admission and other necessity for coming here. The diversity is good here so it won't be a problematic thing for the Indian students. You should gather the latest data about scholarships and acceptance rates for international students. I am truly satisfied with the University, course and country.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If I had to settled permanent here in the UK there are many options for me. As an Indian, we get work visas from companies. They sponsor visas and as long I am working there, the settlement problems are low. If you want to apply for permanent residence you can check the requirements as every year the data changes. But, the longer migrants stay here, the more likely they are to have acquired settlement. I would like to permanently immigrate to this country if given a chance.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The post study jobs at the University of Hertfordshire are quite good in numbers. Many big companies like Barclays, EY, HSBC, McKinsey & Company and others offer sponsor visas. Teach Giants offers visas to Indian students. The roles and packages vary from low to high according to market demands. It's a great place for further studies for aspiring Indian students.

On-campus accommodation with a variety of rooms available and also University allows students to get involved in a wide range of Co-curricular activities designed to boost their CV with courses ranging from business and psychology, law and Engineering, sports and animation. The average cost of living in Hertfordshire for students, excluding tuition fees is approximately 800-1200 pounds per month. The campus has a very big, spacious, open campus with a lot of greenery, activities, and all events all year around.

Tips: Most of the students are from India and Nigeria so if you are looking for international exposure in your course then you are most unlikely to have it. But you will get many opportunities through events and societies to mingle with others and broaden your network.
Likes (Public transportation): From university to anywhere you have various buses available and to go to London you have a train option which is really convenient. It's not far from London so you can explore the city whenever you want to. And also you can travel to nearby places for jobs and other stuff.
Dislikes (Internships): University has a different department for internships and the entire team will guide you if you need any guidance or help. Also, they have placement and opportunity portals where you can find multiple opportunities. Also, there are some events which the university will arrange and companies will be coming to hire interns and part-time job seekers.

Tips: The students have to be financially strong to live in a country like UK. There is a cultural shift because we have to adopt new traditions to the situations here. The university provided a bursary but still I face a few issues making arranging for the monthly expenses.
Likes (Indian Food): There are very less stores available In the location so we get fewer original food. We are unable to get the food items that we need and face issues with the food we cook or getting orders online. But still, you can manage if you love to eat non-veg.
Dislikes (Value for money): The university is focused on providing the basic needs. There is no deeper knowledge provided on the subject and no other well-being sessions are taken care of. The quality of the education is moderate and requires more attention towards the teaching and facilities

Tips: One should know about the course work and modules which he/she is taking up. Additional self research work by the students is important before landing onto the course. Likes (Quality of faculty): Quality of education is very good with 24/7 online support. Library access is provided with sports halls. Additional study matter is given with lectures and tutor support. Assignment assistant and education assistant on every aspect is given by the university. One should also take care of his/her own security.
Dislikes (Safety): Students' hub is safe for all the students. City safety matters too so the overall safety is good. Security on campus and guidance on safety by university is provided. Overall, assistance on safety is provided with additional safety measures for girls.

Faculties and study will match your high expectation.
Tips: If students want to shop and site seeing on a frequent basis, then don't choose this university, as I hear a lot of students complaining the same. London may be just 30 mins away from here, but the expensive tickets would make you think twice before moving out of the city frequently.
Talking about the studies and the faculties, you can keep high expectation since the tuition fee and off-campus accommodation is more affordable compared to other colleges in London.
One thing to note after applying, do not apply BRP receiving at university address, always chose to collect it from the post office. Local post shall deliver it to you within a few days. University may take up to a month to sort and issue the BRP to the students.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transportations are pretty expensive here. It's always better to walk or buy a cycle. It takes a passenger to pay first and then move to the seating area, which makes it pretty frustrating when there's a long queue to board the bus. But we have no other choice other than opt for public transport to cover long distances.

Great campus including all the facilities with inbuilt accomodation.
Tips: The learning and resource center at both college lane and dehav campus is enormous. Big enough to fit 700/ 1000 students in one library. All the resources essential for course will be present either in digital format or hard print. Access to multiple websites for research purposes. Also handshake which is job portal for university remains active for a certain period of time. Also you can refer to previous study lectures on canvas. The options for multi Indian food items are available in town center however a bit pricey in comparison to India. Basketball court, football and gym activities are present in university campus itself. Also at the same time
restaurants and internal entertainment dance floor are available to unwind.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors were really helpful in the formation of structured program. The online/offline module was well reached, assignment were R&D based where students will try the approach of open book and get the optimized solutions. Also, the hybrid combination of online exams was present during my course work. The recorded lecture is useful for doubt solving in future revisions.
Dislikes (Internships): I personally did not choose a placement course. However, a few of my friends from A.I/Data Science background who opted for a placement course were unable to secure an internship during the placement year. Possibly the post covid effects are the concern.

One of the best UK universities
Tips: Initially, I felt some cultural differences from here compared to India. Later on everything was okay for me. At university, we have a friendly atmosphere and the faculty is very nice, they are very encouraging. We have campus placements here which is very useful for students.
Likes (Value for money): One of the best UK universities is University of Hertfordshire and they have excellent friendly faculty and it is worth every penny for international students. The atmosphere is great and they are supportive of international students.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I'm from India, initially it was difficult for me to understand the culture of this country and its food. Later on, I'm okay with everything and they are very supportive and friendly. Modules are very understanding which is useful for students. I am enjoying this university.

The availability of part time on-campus is very low and the university is very competitive.
Tips: Students should be aware of cultural differences and have essential life skills like cooking. They also need to be able to manage a 16-hour day with academics, part-time work, and personal obligations. Unfortunately, I did not receive a scholarship because they are very limited and competitive. The people here are generally nice, and there are always security guards and police officers around to keep everyone safe. If you are thinking about moving here, I would say that you should consider it. The city has a lot to offer, and I think you will be happy with your decision. I am very satisfied with my course, university, and the country.
Dislikes (Part time work): The availability of part-time work on campus is very low, and given the number of students at the university, it's very competitive. Off-campus opportunities are better, and you can usually find a job within a month if you keep applying. The course schedule is a bit hectic, but it's manageable if you have a background in analytics. The average payout is quite good.

Tips: My transition in this country was generally good, but sometimes I encounter difficulties sending money. There is a bit of a cultural shift, but not much. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience.
Likes (Student Life): The University of Auckland has a lot to offer students. The campus has a wide variety of facilities, including sports facilities, common rooms for eating and sleeping, and computer rooms. The library is housed in a separate building, and the campus is located within a 3km radius of the city centre.
Dislikes (Internships): There are not many internships available, and the available ones are difficult to get. To cover the cost of living, students should apply for scholarships. Another benefit of getting a scholarship is that you can get university housing at half price, and if you live in university housing, your recreation is free.

The city is expensive and it is difficult to find part time job.
Tips: This college is nice, and most of the faculty are really nice. However, some teachers have a very memory-based teaching method, which makes it difficult to learn the concepts that are being taught. Also, Auckland is very expensive, especially rent, so students should do their research on the country and the college before deciding to study here. Finding a job is very difficult, both part-time and full-time, so students should consider all their options, including studying in Australia.
Likes (Indian Food): Auckland has a large Indian community, and as a result, there are a lot of Indian restaurants and grocery stores in the city. Indian restaurants cost about 30-40 dollars per meal. The restaurants are expensive, but if you buy groceries at Indian stores and cook at home, you can save a lot of money. The grocery stores also have a wide variety of Indian ingredients that you can use to cook your own meals.
Dislikes (Part time work): The job market in Auckland is very tough as the country is deep in recession, and there are no part-time jobs. Students might find some casual jobs, but those are one-offs, and the students cannot rely on them. Barely any student in my Cohort has a job yet. It has been around more than 5 months and everyone is just relying on the money from parents. Living costs are through the roof so surviving here as a student is stressful and tough.

Tips: Students should be aware that the coursework here is intensive, so time management is crucial. They should explore the resources available to them such as the library, labs and student clubs. I am also a recipient of the University of Auckland India Achievers Scholarship, which partly covered my tuition fees for a year. I applied by submitting my academic transcripts, statement of purpose and recommendation letters. Overall, I am very happy to be a student here and look forward to gaining work experience after completing my studies.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system in Auckland is very convenient. Buses and trains run frequently and the routes are well-connected to major areas. Students can easily commute to and from campus using a Transportation Card that can be used on all public transport with just a tap. The card needs to be recharged once it gets exhausted.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The University of Auckland has a diverse faculty, but the quality of the teaching faculty varies greatly from department to department. The faculty in my department is comprised of some of the most highly skilled mathematics professors in New Zealand. They are knowledgeable and experienced, and use innovative teaching methods. However, it can be difficult to reach out to them because of the large number of students they have to handle.

Tips: The culture itself is very diverse with a lot of clubs and event always going on. I did not apply for any scholarships, however, there are plenty to apply for and always advertised in and outside of class. I am, overall, very satisfied with the University of Auckland, the quality of my engineering courses, and the kiwi atmosphere as a whole.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are all easily accessible by email, in-person after classes, and via office hours which they all offer. Teaching methods vary across faculty members however they all ask for feedback and cater to each class to meet the class's wants and needs. The teaching faculty is incredibly diverse in both nationality and gender.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The campus is very well connected with the rest of the city, in fact it is in the centre. Public transport is everywhere, and you can use it to get anywhere, however, the prices have gone up, so I highly recommend applying for a Tertiary Study discount.

Tips: I found the transition easy as everyone was super friendly. I stayed in halls in my first year. I was able to make friends easily, as I have always been a very social person. The halls were the right place for me to be, and I would recommend it to all of you.
Likes (Part time work): I work as a student ambassador and editor of our magazine, both of which pay me around 25 dollars an hour. The work is hectic but manageable. The magazine is a 5-hour-a-week work, and student ambassadors let me pick up shifts according to my convenience.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I usually cook for myself. I just haven't found the best authentic Indian food. I'm sure there are many restaurants, especially outside the city, but I tend to cook at home because I enjoy it more. There are a lot of good Asian restaurants that I often go to.

Stressful but great support from the faculty.
Tips: I have lived in New Zealand for a while, so I did not experience any feelings of cultural change. However, I do believe that within my field of studies, some races can be less privileged than others. On the positive side, there is a lot of support from teaching staff. On the negative side, the workload can be very stressful, especially near the end of the semester. Also, it is becoming increasingly difficult for immigrants to settle in New Zealand. It was difficult for them to come here, but based on more recent times, it is even more difficult for individuals to come here and build a life.
Likes (Student Life): I usually go to class and then get something to eat. Recently, I went to a student market day, which was a lot of fun. There was music playing, and the atmosphere was very lively. Even when I'm just on campus, there's usually music playing, and the atmosphere is always lively. Sometimes I even get free stuff.

Tips: There wasn't a cultural shift for me. However, some things that are native to New Zealand can be a bit of a shift. The university is a little boring, and the country doesn't have many things to do. On the other hand, the people are very friendly, and it's easy to make friends. The lifestyle is very relaxed.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The University of Auckland has a great building and a nice space to work. The faculty members are very diverse. The teaching includes labs, tutorials, and lectures. Most classes have three lectures per week, an hour or two hours long. Commerce labs are one hour long, and science labs are three hours of practical work. Tutorials are one hour long and are held biweekly.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I'm not sure what the job market was like before the recession, but it's difficult to get an internship these days. Retail stores usually hire people if they have working visas, and sometimes companies offer internships that lead to graduate jobs at "Big 4" companies.

Tips: The only thing I would recommend is to practice academic writing and be aware of referencing while completing the assignments. I've seen people being penalized for not citing relevant sources. There are many scholarships available at the University of Auckland but you just have to make sure you put your best foot forward.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian restaurants and takeaways available in the city but to cut down on the expenses, I prefer to cook at home. The amount you'll spend on eating out for one time can be enough to cook for 2 days at home. Some restaurants serve food at lower prices for students as they run promotions and offers to attract students.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are a lot of international students coming to New Zealand, so there are more people than jobs. The University does hire students for roles like Students Hub advisor and international students ambassador, but those roles are highly competitive. The part-time jobs available for international students are usually in hospitality, retail, and small businesses around the city and are paid a minimum wage that is sufficient to manage expenses.

Tips: The university does not provide internships or post-study jobs. The students are sent to find work on their own. The university only helps with CV checks and interview trips. A lot of students don't pay attention to other students unless they are in a group project with them. Overall, I am satisfied with my university and course but not satisfied with the country.
Likes (Indian Food): There is a large variety of restaurants and convenience stores. They are either cheap or expensive and are near campus. I prefer to cook myself since it is essentially cheaper and I get to eat what I enjoy. Many people choose to spend money on food and it is more expensive near campus because more students will buy from them so they raise prices.

Lively and cordial university in all multidimensional aspects.
Tips: Students should know that there is a huge cultural shift but it's a good one we can adapt easily. I didn't avail of any scholarships because I applied very late for the university but you can check for scholarships on the university website as it is mentioned. Try to opt for part-time opportunities as it helps to cut off on expenses. I'm very much satisfied and content with my experiences at the university.

A bit expensive but good experience.
Tips: Scholarships are tough to get, there aren't enough scholarships for international students. There is a cultural shift for sure. UoA is focused on research so there's a lot of self-study involved compared to the Indian education system. Plus New Zealand has strong cultural roots so good to know about it a little beforehand. The university was good, good course but highly-priced.
Likes (Public transportation): Good connection to university via buses and bike. Plus there's plenty of accommodation around the university so it's east to travel. Public transport isn't the cheapest, students get some discount though. It's easier to purchase your own bike or scooter for better travel experience.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Good chances of getting a permanent residence after your Masters if you land a full-time job. The work visa after Master is for 3 years so most students apply for PR in that time frame. I'd like to permanently immigrate because of the work culture. The pay scale can be better.

Tips: I faced a transition to adapt to a new country's culture and educational system. This transition involved adjusting to a different teaching style, making new friends, and local customs. With time most international students find ways to overcome these challenges.
Likes (Quality of faculty): University faculty is friendly, approachable, and readily available to assist students. They create a welcoming environment for seeking help and guidance in studies and academic matters. They have conducted lectures, discussions, hand-on activities, and technology integration.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are different types of restaurants like casual dinners which cost $10 to $20, cafes cost around 5 to 20 dollars, seafood costs around 20 to 40 dollars. If you are vegetarian or vegan then you should pay 15 to 25 dollars at one-time meal. I generally prefer to cook myself.

Tips: We have to face a huge cultural shift after coming here. The main thing is where you live, which should be near the university, so it will help you adjust early. I did not avail of any scholarship. I am very satisfied with my university course structure and country.
Likes (Value for money): The university's reputation is one of the best across the globe. One cannot justify tuition because it is a perception, not an exact justification. But yes, the teaching and faculty expertise in their subject is excellent. You will get a friendly atmosphere.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The University of Auckland is well-connected with public transportation, and there are a variety of transportation options, including trains and buses. However, public transportation is somewhat costly for international students.

Intense but rewarding. Looking forward to applying what I’ve learned in real life
Tips: I’ve done undergrad in the UK and now master's in New Zealand. I’m pretty comfortable with the cultural shift but one does tend to feel when you shift to a new place. Becomes better eventually.
No scholarships are availed.
Pretty satisfied, the course is intense but manageable
Likes (Indian Food): All kinds of restaurants/cuisines are available since there is a large Asian diaspora here. Prices range from 15-20 for an average-sized meal.
Cooking myself is the best option as it economically better. Eating outside is not sustainable after a point.
Dislikes (Internships): There are a lot of resources/career support from the university regarding this. A lot of career fairs are there as well.
There are relevant internships for my programs however since I have work ex, I’m not looking for that but instead, graduate roles can be a good starting point.
