The university offers networking events, cultural festivals, and a career fair.
Tips: My transition to university has been smooth, as has my experience. There has definitely been an eye-opening experience in terms of an educational and cultural shift. There is also a cultural shift that I experienced, particularly in university life. I have been awarded a full-funded scholarship from the state government. I applied for this scholarship through the state government portals. Aside from this scholarship, the university offers other scholarships that one can also apply for. I am very happy with the university and with my course. Leeds University offers a complete academic experience combined with a talented and accomplished faculty.
Likes (Indian Food): A normal day at the university is like going to classes, hanging out with friends, talking about classwork, and joining study groups. I love the events on campus because there are networking events, cultural festivals, and a career fair. It gives us lots of energy. I love that there is a social group that puts on events that promote the well-being of students, both mentally and socially. In addition, I volunteer, and I encourage others to do so as well.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Faculty at university is highly approachable with designed office hours, it is easy for students to ask for guidance on coursework and also for career. The teaching methodology at university is a mix of lectures, seminars and group discussions. Teaching staff demonstrates diversity because professors from multiple nations teach at the university which brings diverse academic views and research approaches into the classroom.

University of Leeds is very student-friendly and the faculty are highly talented.
Tips: Before joining students should be sure about what course they are going to join and also make sure to do plenty of research about the facilities offered. The university has everything that you need but it is up to the students to decide on what they need and they do not. It is a very good experience and the contacts that you make are really helpful. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Safety): Leeds is a very student-friendly city, with international students from all around the world. Leeds is rated as one of the safest cities in the UK and it feels so too. It is very safe and the amenities are available and easily accessible. The transportation is really good and the city even at night has some kind of life and some people are ready to help you if you are in a tough spot.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a plethora of Indian restaurants in Leeds but there are limited options if you are a vegetarian. The university eatery has a lot of options for non-vegetarian food though and the food is amazing in Leeds. I do cook but also prefer to eat outside at times. The food is slightly on the expensive side if you want to eat out and fancy Indian food, there are multiple Indian and Pakistani stores around from where you can almost get anything you want.

A hub for innovation and excellence.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should research the course and modules, location, cost, campus facilities, and placement opportunities. Check the college accreditation in the field you are going to study and the alumni network. The faculty here are very helpful so you can reach out to them. Public transportation is affordable, accessible and convenient so try to explore the city and adapt yourself to the culture. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the course, university and the country.

Vibrant campus life, world class faculties and academically enriching experience.
Tips: Students should know how to cook because the takeaway or delivery options are costly. The ready-made food available in stores is also limited option-wise. There are fewer options for vegetarian people. The University, faculty and teaching were up to the mark as I expected. The faculty members were approachable and were always there to help. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Part time work): Part-time jobs are easy to find. We Indians don't hesitate to put in the work and this is known by the UK employers which is one of the main reasons why Indians can get part-time jobs without difficulty. We just have to look diligently. Plus the pay is also good for the part-time jobs.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Due to changes made in the visa rules for international candidates, it is next to impossible for international students to secure full-time jobs post-graduation. Most of the companies that offer sponsorship hesitate to pay the salary according to the new visa rules.

The college is great with amazing campus facilities.
Tips: Before joining any college, it is important to research the quality of the course, the expertise of the faculty, and the career opportunities provided by the college. It is equally important to understand the campus culture, the extracurricular activities, and the cost of living in the area. Speaking with current students or alumni can also provide valuable insights into the college experience and any challenges to anticipate. Moving to a new place can be exciting but also overwhelming. You might notice differences in teaching style, social interactions, or even how people spend their free time. For some, it's the food or weather that stands out, while others notice academic expectations or communication style. Adjusting takes time, but participating in campus activities or joining student groups can make the transition smoother. If you're eligible, scholarships can significantly reduce financial stress. To apply, you usually need a strong academic record, extracurricular achievements, or financial need. The allowances vary some cover tuition fees fully or partially, while others include living expenses. It's worth checking the college website or contacting the admissions office for specific options and deadlines. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is well-connected and affordable. Students can get a day bus pass for 5 pounds, which allows them to travel anywhere in the city. The buses run every five minutes, so students can get anywhere they need to go quickly and easily.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The companies offering work visas depend on the country and industry you're targeting. Teaching, healthcare, and finance often have employers open to sponsorship. In some countries, the government maintains a list of companies that regularly sponsor visas. It might feel overwhelming to navigate this, but narrowing it down by region and industry could help. This varies a lot based on your field of study and location. For example, in teaching, roles like software developer or data analyst are in demand, with salaries often reflecting the skill gap. In other fields, you might see entry-level roles that focus on building experience before scaling up in pay.

The experience has been adventurous and wonderful.
Tips: Students should know that we pay a lot to attend these colleges, and we shouldn't waste our time partying. Instead, we should study hard to improve ourselves. I think it's better to get a job here because you get good pay in the United Kingdom. If you come here, you should come for a postgraduate degree, which is better. The internships are not relevant to what we are studying at the college. They are usually salespersons or self-racing or something of that kind at the minimum wage level, which is 11 an hour. It is good if we do a job here.
Likes (Value for money): Leeds gives you a homely vibe and has good opportunities. It's very safe walking on the roads at night and also going to parties at night. Leeds is overall a student town where Indians are in the majority, and the Chinese population is about 30% of the total.

University is good to shape your future.
Tips: Students should participate in each event and try to connect with international students and university faculty. This will help them gain overall knowledge. Students should also be specific about their work and complete their assignments on time. This will help them perform better academically and grab opportunities that come their way. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the course, university and the country.
Likes (Safety): Safety is an important factor for international students. Leeds is a safe city with a low crime rate, and the university campus is safe with good security. The nightlife is good, and the safety standards are high.
Dislikes (Internships): The University of Leeds is a great university for internships. They provide a variety of platforms for students to apply for internships and offer guidance on how to apply. Students should attend seminars and workshops on internships to learn more about the process and how to apply.

Excellent university with great campus and faculty.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should always check for the scholarship, international study tour and course scope. Try to find more internship opportunities because many companies here provide paid internships. Always choose accommodation near to university and city centre.
Likes (Internships): Leeds is a great place to be a student. The city has a vibrant student life, and everything is within walking distance. There are always events happening in the city that are open to students. The university provides great support to students, including a two-week welcome event for new students.
Dislikes (Value for money): The faculty is very supportive and provides personal meeting sessions with students. They also provide a personal tutor for the entire duration of the course. The teaching methods at Leeds are more based on practical knowledge, which includes seminars and workshops. These methods are designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need for a successful career.

Overall it's a fantastic experience
Tips: When you are studying abroad, be prepared to do everything for yourself, including cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping. Unlike in India, where domestic help is available, you will not have anyone to help you with these tasks. However, the experience will be amazing, and I recommend that everyone try it. Also, be open-minded about the part-time job you get, and do your research to find a course that interests you.
Likes (Public transportation): London has a great public transportation system and is well connected to the university, and there are two ways to get around the city: bus and train. Buses cost 2 Pounds, but you can get a 20% discount if you show your student ID. You can also get a Railcard, which gives you a 33% discount on each train ride. The Railcard is a great deal, but it only applies to train rides, not bus rides.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are many part-time roles available, but the competition is fierce. You need to be persistent in your job search. With a little luck, you can land a job that pays between 6 and 15 Euros per hour. However, you need to be aware that the hourly rate may vary depending on the industry and location of the job.

Inspiring, innovative and vibrant.
Tips: Transitioning as an international student can be overwhelming at first. However, with time, you will adapt to the environment and find that the people are sweet and welcoming. I am satisfied with the course contents, and the UK is an amazing country. You can avail of scholarships, such as the International Excellence Scholarship for international students.
Likes (Student Life): The timetable is not hectic, so there is plenty of time between classes to hang out with friends or meet new people through social events and societies. The university also organizes various events that cater to international students. In addition, the infrastructure and facilities are great.
Dislikes (Part time work): The availability of part-time jobs is decent, but it is better to apply before the start of course. Employers take a long time to respond to your application, and it is difficult to find jobs without a referral. Sometimes the availability is scarce in the city, so you have to find other options around the city.

Best quality of education and good city to live.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should know that they should have some previous experience to get a job in the UK after course completion. I was not eligible for any scholarship. But there were few scholarships which my friends have availed. I am really satisfied with the university and its infrastructure.
Likes (Safety): I felt safe throughout my time at the University of Leeds. I never encountered or felt any unsafe situations on or around campus. The security measures and safe campus environment made me feel comfortable. In addition, I experienced a lot of good things, like people greeting us and giving way to us.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Few companies offer visa sponsorship, and most reject applicants based on visa type. This limits opportunities, as many employers prefer candidates with restricted work authorization. This makes it challenging for international graduates to secure roles.

The University of Leeds provides lots of events to build connections.
Tips: One should do thorough research before joining any UK universities. The culture is totally different from India. The weather is different as well and most importantly the network of people who one would mix with and who can help in a new market bother personally and professionally. I had joined the course with my personal finance and there was no loan however it is all the more important to keep track of the expenses. The monthly groceries are costly so one should be careful about that too. I made good use of the university libraries and my focus was more on making the right connections with the UK employers. The study part is definitely important however employers put more importance on skills rather than knowledge so gaining skills through participating in various activities can give additional advantage to a resume.
Likes (Safety): I felt safe walking around campus and surrounding areas, even at night. The UK police are very active and keep an eye on things, which helps ensure safety. In addition, there are security cameras in the common areas, and they provide a sense of security. The campus is well-lit, and there are always people around, which also makes me feel safe.
Dislikes (Internships): I didn't have any personal experience with internships, as I was a full-time MBA student with previous work experience. However, internships are crucial for getting a job with a UK employer, as they give you an edge in the job market.

University of Leeds has highly experienced, well-researched, and talented faculty.
Tips: Leeds is a student-friendly university, but moving to a completely different country can be daunting. Cultural socks are likely, depending on one's bringing and personal experiences. Personally, I didn't enjoy the weather much, though it's not always bad. As an international student in your first year, you could be awarded a scholarship of 32,500 based on your high school grades, typically requiring an average of over 85%. Additionally, throughout your course, you may be eligible for further scholarships if you maintain an average score of over 60% each year.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The University of Leeds is part of the Russell Group. The management ensures that they hire highly experienced, well-researched, and talented faculty members across all disciplines. It's rare to hear any complaints about the competency of the faculty in various departments. Personally, I can vouch for the law faculty—they are incredibly helpful, go the extra mile for their students, and consistently encourage us to improve.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The University of Leeds is a great university with a lot to offer. However, I do have some concerns about permanent immigration to the UK. It is not too difficult, provided you can support yourself. However, UK immigration laws can be stringent, and many might find themselves working multiple jobs initially if they don't secure employment in desirable sectors like the commercial industry. It's challenging to sustain oneself, especially given the ongoing economic uncertainties and the impact of recession. That said, while I don't intend to be overly pessimistic, it's important to know that the experience comes with countless challenges, some of which can be mentally exhausting. However, many do find enjoyment here, and I might be wrong in some cases, as everyone's experience is different.

The faculty at this university are very understanding and knowledgeable.
Tips: There can be a lot of uncertainties with moving abroad. Students should try to find out about the scholarship options for a smooth transition. Try to get as much information as possible from current students about the course, modules, etc. Get information about part-time opportunities and register in advance.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is highly knowledgeable and experienced. They are available to clear doubts and answer queries. They are experts in their field and that is showcased during lectures. The lectures are mostly theoretical with separate practical sessions.
Dislikes (Internships): There are a lot of opportunities in technology but at the same time, there is competition. The career team helps you with the application process and provides resources for CV review and interview preparation.
Outside the university, there are career fairs that happen regularly where one can network and explore opportunities.

University of Leeds: An overall package
Tips: The University of Leeds offers varied opportunities to everyone and there is always something for everyone, you won't feel alienated or alone, there is a road for everyone that mostly leads to success and development of an individual. Overall, I am happy with my decision to choose the University of Leeds.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at my university are very helpful and are always there whenever you have a doubt or are not able to understand anything, they are always ready to explain any concept over and over again and always open to discussions, not just about studies but also about personal well-being and job prospects.
Dislikes (Value for money): I believe that the tuition fees we are paying is not justified because the resources we get in return for the amount we pay for tuition fees is not very proportionate. Other Universities offer much more than this and the students actually benefit from the resources provided but if we talk about University of Leeds compared to others, it is still one of the best universities out there.

UK is the best choice to pursue my course.
Tips: There is an 'International Masters Excellence Scholarship' for selected students. For Masters in Automotive Engineering, UK and Germany are popular choices. I chose UK over Germany as I didn't want to put in extra effort for learning a new language. Also, it's easier to socialize with people in UK as there are no language barriers. Plus, UK offers Post Study Work (PSW) visa (not sure if it'll continue to do so) which will give you 2 additional years after completing the job to get the UK sponsored job.
Likes (Student Life): 1. Libraries are amazing - they have best infrastructure and perfect atmosphere to study. Plus, there are 3 different libraries with totally different vibe and we can choose where to study.
2. There's a night bus service - if you are late in the university then they drop you to your house free of charge.
3. There are many events and social activities and clubs - all are very welcoming!
Dislikes (Post study jobs): In our class of almost 100 students, less than 10 students have secured the full time job in our field before graduation from university. This is not just with the University of Leeds, the situation is similar all over the UK. Graduate roles offer around 330000 salary in Mechanical Engineering related domains.

Experience would help in post-study job opportunities.
Tips: Should possess prior work experience before starting this course for better job prospects. I didn't know how to cook and clean before coming here so found it hard initially. There are only 2 scholarships fully funded for this programme. The university is amazing.
Likes (Safety): Very safe to walk around the city at all times of the day. Have not had any particular bad experiences regarding safety but have heard of a few bad areas in Leeds to avoid after dark such as Hyde Park as students have gotten robbed at knifepoint there. Crime like robbery and stabbing is virtually non-existent here but bicycle thieves are very common.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time is very difficult to avail in Leeds, almost impossible. Same situation across the UK students since September 2023 have not gotten part-time jobs. A valuable learning experience with unique challenges for international students.
Tips: The transition was generally smooth, although adapting to the academic structure and British culture took some time. The university does offer support when asked. I received the Phoenix Scholarship, which covers one year of accommodation within the student accommodation. To qualify you just need to pay 50% of the first-year fee before August for September intake. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Indian Food): I live in Coventry City Centre, which is within a 2-mile radius of the university. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, and many of them are inexpensive. South Asian food is especially popular, and it's easy to find a restaurant that serves it. I prefer to cook for myself, but I do go out to eat with friends at least twice a week.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Currently, there are no jobs, and recently the government changed some policies that affected the companies to take international students for work, as we will have 2 years of post-study work visa the employers always need at least 4 years of visa for the student to be selected.

Thriving in a diverse and supportive learning environment.
Tips: Before joining Coventry University, students should know it's a diverse, vibrant campus with strong industry links. Scholarships are available and I received one based on academic merit, which provided a partial tuition fee waiver. I'm satisfied with the university, course, and the UK's multicultural environment, which offers great opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated public transportation a 5 because Coventry University is well-connected to the city via buses and trains. Decent college with a good Desi community.
Tips: Students should know there is good food and decent accommodation available. The airport is close by and there's lots of variety of shops. There will be a cultural shift since you have to share your accommodation with people but it will be a fun experience. I did not get any scholarship but it is fine. However, I would rather prefer to do an M.Sc. at a better-ranking university with more opportunities.
Likes (Public transportation): There is a good facility for public transport. There are buses every 20 minutes and they have an easy payment system on the bus where you can just tap your card. If you are travelling multiple times you can also buy a day pass which gives you unlimited travel for that day also students get discounts on monthly passes.
Dislikes (Internships): There are no internship opportunities for M.Sc. but there is an option to extend a visa if you get an internship but no one gives an internship to M.Sc students in the UK. The internships I found were only for Bachelors or for students from Ivy League colleges. Even if you get an internship it has to be approved by the college.

A place for all to feel welcome
Tips: This university is very diverse and offers many great opportunities for students. Teachers do their best to support and the facilities are very beneficial for the students, such as the large library space on campus. Bursaries are available for students if needed. I am very satisfied with the university as it offers the support and educational opportunities that all students need.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are options available which allow students to study internationally. There are many courses for them to choose from and support is available financially. Teachers are always available to provide guidance to students on what would be the best route specifically for them to reach their goals.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is close to the city centre where there are restaurants and places to relax with friends. There are many shops that students enjoy spending time in, they can purchase clothes, and resources as required. There were many societies at the university that students could get involved with and make friends.

University is located in the heart of central London
Tips: Students coming here should be aware of what exactly they are looking for. Please don't just go because you want to do Masters. There will be a big cultural shift coming from India. Though I did avail of a scholarship but still can argue that the course was not worth the money I spent. University website has all the details about the course and scholarship.
Likes (Public transportation): London has one of the best if not the best public transport in the world connectivity-wise, though it is quite expensive. Lately, after COVID-19, there have been transport strikes quite frequently, which has affected a lot of people especially the working class.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): No company offered sponsor visa for work and placement was not that helpful. As I completed my course in covid times which made it very difficult to find a job, especially for the course as it was directly influenced. Job roles offered were not considering my prior job experience as they were not up to the standard.

Coventry is high-tech and modern
Tips: I didn't avail any scholarship personally but I guess there is a good scholarship given to full-time undergrad students from India around 3000-4000 pound waiver on tuition. I love the library of this university it has almost all the books ranging from academic to non-academic. The updated journals are available and the staff also help us to source through e-resources if required. The classes are fully modern and so is the overall infrastructure. Lecturers are from around the world and they are very supportive and kind. The focus is more on industry but if someone wants to go for higher education professors love that and provide more support. A student, if they like, can even assist the professors with their research since they are constantly writing papers. In general I would say that there are many opportunities it's just about the direction you would like to take.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): It takes five years to obtain a permanent settlement visa here and for students like us who will take up a job here after graduation will be on a tier 2 visa so there is no problem with that. Personally, I like this country it is diverse and has good opportunities for growth and raising a family too. Be it education or healthcare everything is top-notch so getting a good job should be the priority, that's how one will permanently settle down in the UK.
Dislikes (Student Life): Coventry is very modern and I mean it. It is advanced, it has high tech labs with adequate resources, good student bodies and clubs and so much to do with your friends on campus. There are multiple clubs like photography, reading etc. and anyone will find a club that relates to the individual's hobbies.

A top notch and modern university
Tips: The b-school is very forward and has many facilities like there is a business-suited simulation room, a trading floor etc. I guess engineering also has some high -teach labs and stimulating experience systems. I would say that this university is keeping up with the fast-paced world and that is something good. I myself got a 3000 GBP scholarship and many other international students get that. The faculty is very good and they share comprehensive material with us. This is a top university go for it nothing to think more.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants like Indian express but please don't expect good quality food like you get in India. I myself used to prefer veg food and it is not good at all the samosas are tiny, the price is okay but expensive you can easily make that yourself. The curry served is also not up to the mark and it is not only with one restaurant it is almost common. I cook my Indian-style food myself and it is far better.

Student Friendly, academic-oriented university.
Tips: The people at the University are very friendly and help out with your concerns. The faculty is also very approachable and will give you support as and when required. Campus life and atmosphere is very cool and different from India. Class attendance is given utmost importance so attend your lectures regularly.
Likes (Safety): Coventry has been a safe city as it has communal harmony and many people from different cultures and descents study and make their livelihood. British have been very open and friendly, especially with Indian people but still a few incidents have been reported of racial abuse/discrimination.
Dislikes (Internships): There are certain student unions and clubs which help with leads on internship opportunities available. You will have to be very active on LinkedIn and make connections. Data Science has vast scope and many opportunities are available. The pay however will depend on the kind of USP you can offer as a candidate.

Covers your academic needs.
Tips: Expect to find a multicultural environment, everything will come down to your own ability to network. Professors are extremely helpful and unbiased. Expect a thorough evaluation on your assignments. Teachers will guide you through the curriculum and will evaluate you like a manager.
Likes (Safety): Safe campus near tower bridge, people are very friendly and would go out of their way to help. Good experiences would be late night travel to explore the city without worrying about safety. No racial discrimination except for a few parts in and around london.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of settlement usually depend on your own ability to look out for a job, the college provides support but unlike India there is no concept of placements. Given a chance I would want to get settled in this country. The opportunity to grow here are immense.

Coventry is for you, you are for Coventry!
Tips: Starting with infrastructure, the infrastructure of Coventry is best. The university looks totally modern with well-equipped lecture halls and well maintained library. I've studied B.A. in business management and have spent most my time in library which is open 24 hours. You can easily book a group room or a computer for you if you wish. Facilities here at Coventy are good, staff is very helpful and being an International student you might find it somewhat difficult in the beginning but you'll get settled within no time and you won't even realize such is the culture here. The college is in the heart of the city and thus you'll find plethora of opportunities for you here. Faculty here is also very supportive, they give detailed feedback and become your supporting hand with coursework so, If you are afraid of an academic transition don't be for it'll be very smooth. For overall development and achievements of academic pursuit Coventry is the go!

Such a diverse university
Tips: Don't expect the university to completely assist you on placements and careers. They will only guide you on what and how to do, rest depends on your own tendency to learn and grasp things. Also, complete assignments on time. Never miss the due dates and stuff.

A great university in terms of ranking and student experience.
Tips: Coventry is an excellent option for engineering students. And the London campus is good for business students. Even on main campus business school is there, but the modules are a bit generic and fees are bit high compared to other universities. And they are only giving 2 instalments. For my course specifically more than 90% of students are international. And the fees are increasing annually. In Coventry, part time options are lower, but the rent and other expenses are reasonable. But overall, Coventry is a reputed and famous university in the UK. The exams and assignments are strict and the lecturers are really good.
Likes (Student Life): We can find a lot of international students in Coventry especially Indians. And there are many activities held weekly for students, the student hub is a very good place for students.
The hub will cater to all the needs of students. Students can participate in elections and we are able to raise our voices.
Dislikes (Value for money): University fee is a bit higher when compared to other universities, while the modules are similar to others. So for business and finance courses, there are better universities that provide similar modules for low fees. And for placement options, an extra fee is to be paid.

If you are coming with a mindset of earning through part time don't came to Coventry University.
Tips: My first piece of advice for students is to make sure they have the money to fund their degree. Prepare for the climate because it won't be easy here. Should have an idea about the course what you are doing don't come blindly. Sort out accommodation in a good ventilation room because you may feel unbreathable because of heaters.
Likes (Safety): Coventry city is one of the most student friendly city in UK & Coventry city is the safest city in West Midlands. Coventry is vibrant, affordable home away from home. Coventry University is located in heart of Coventry city, so I feel like it's safe to live in Coventry city.
Dislikes (Part time work): Limited jobs in coventry city as it is a small city. Even our seniors didn't get the part time job till now. Few students are moving to other cities to get part time jobs. So if you have prepared to choose Coventry university then prepare to move to another city for part time jobs.

Best decision of life as a Coventry student
Tips: Students should know about their course modules properly. Research their chosen course and the courses provided by the university. Take two months of buffer for part time jobs as you have to eagerly search for it and you can easily manage yourself after it.
Likes (Safety): Student can easily balance their life here with high quality education and work. Students will get quality life once they will be in UK. Coventry University ranks within the top 30 in UK and worldwide it is very well known. I can suggest this university on behalf of my personal experience
Dislikes (Value for money): All faculty have excellent knowledge. They are so humble and kind and ready to help any time. They have detailed knowledge about modules and subjects. We can ask anything and their doubt-solving skills are amazing. All faculties have PHD and are very hardworking towards their teaching.

Good student life. Enjoyed.
Tips: Students should do a clear background check of the place where they are going to live. They should be in touch with the previous students and ask them about all expenditures. They should try to live closer to the college because it won't make them feel any kind of stress. There are different societies for international students in each reputed college so students should join those channels by signing up on Facebook or Instagram profiles, by this they can gain more information other than their academics. If there is any chance, they should email the course co-ordinators regarding any special internships and also the future scope of job. Lastly one must get to know the area where they are living.

Many advantages at Coventry University London campus
Tips: Coventry University London campus advantage is its location as it's in the financial street. Each & every faculty is very supportive. Teaching quality is also good. We have friendly environment and university staff is very responsive if any student is having any issues.
Likes (Public transportation): Though London is costly, student life is perfect here as number of opportunities and global exposure is excellent. Faculties teaching quality is very good and all facilities are available. Student gets 200% support from the university staff which is really helpful.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Faculty knowledge and delivery is excellent. They have 100% energy while teaching and help with assignments. Enough instruments are available to help students in understanding difficult tools. Faculties are highly educated and also certified in many fields.

Got so much to learn in a short period of time.
Tips: I can't say for all the courses but for Automotive Engineering, it would be better if you know some software beforehand like Matlab, 3D CAD software and any analysis software, as it might get difficult to learn all these software in a short period of time.
Likes (Value for money): Talking about my course MSc Automotive Engineering, the university has very good faculty and the course is up to date. The professors help us whenever we need them. It is definitely value for money as the university is best for automotive courses. It is just that the university management has not been good lately.
Dislikes (Safety): Currently, there is an increase in the crime rate in Coventry city but I personally haven't encountered any problem yet. It's advisable not to roam alone at night even when you are with your group. Rest, the city is good. It is a student's city and City of Culture as well.

Engineering at Coventry University is great.
Tips: It is a great University and has invested in its campus over the past decade. As a result, it’s now in top 20 universities in the UK. Still not the best also not the worst. It’s one of the best universities in the country for automobile engineering due to its huge ties with JLR and Rolls Royce. For my course, computer science engineering there are better options but I feel life in Coventry was much balanced in terms of cost and academic value than other competitors. Have fun!
Likes (Safety): Coventry was much safer than the neighboring major city of Birmingham. I did not face any sort of safety or racism concern. I usually use to stay up late working for assignments in the library and sometimes partying but I never felt any safety concerns walking back home which was a mile away from the city center.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): In 2015, there was no post study visa work available to further my stay to work in engineering. Although, this has recently changed. It was extremely difficult to get sponsored for a job in the UK after a bachelor's degree without any relevant experience. Sponsorship was limited and was reserved for senior and experienced candidates.
