Valuable learning experience with friendly faculty.
Tips: The University of Roehampton provides a diverse and supportive learning environment. It's important to engage with faculty and use all the resources provided, such as the library, career support, and guidance. In addition, getting involved with student societies like the RSU and Desi Society is a great way to meet new people and make friends.
Likes (Safety): The campus is safe whether it's day or night. There's no bullying or harassment. The university has taken steps to make the campus safe, such as installing 24/7 CCTV cameras, lighting the pathways, and providing a student support team. They also offer mental health support and workshops.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don't have any idea for settlement options here other than landing a visa sponsorship job and then working for 5 years. I am not thinking of getting permanently settled here. If chance is given to me, I'd love to but I need to think about it.

Try to focus on court ranking and your work experience rather than university ranking.
Tips: Students should know that the university ranking doesn't matter. What matters is the ranking of your course and the placement record of your university. You should ask previous students and alumni about the best way to know about your university and they can give you the best information. Don't just change universities based on rankings.
Likes (Indian Food): If you are concerned about finding Indian food in London, don't worry about it. There are Indian restaurants and grocery stores all over the city, and in places like Southall you can even find authentic Indian food.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There is no campus placement office, so you are on your own to find a job after graduation. This can be a long process, as evidenced by the fact that none of my friends have found jobs in the last two years. My advice is to gain experience in India before coming here for your degree.

MSc in Global Business Management - Batch of 2024

A good experience overall
Tips: I have not had much cultural shift because the reason might be I always stay with my Indian friends and I explore much here in the UK. I got a scholarship as I applied through a consultancy for 4000 pounds. The university is good with experienced faculty and a lively atmosphere. I have not experienced any racism of any kind. So, overall I had a positive experience with my university.

A good learning but very fast paced experience.
Tips: Students should know that scholarships are available and can check on the university website. You need to join on time otherwise there might be a problem with your studies and catching up with the syllabus. Teaching and knowledge are good but the country is not that good and very bad weather most of the time. Indian Food is very limited and you have to cook daily so that you control your expenses.
Likes (Student Life): Nice atmosphere, a good library, helping teachers and clubs. I spend my days going to the lab and working on my final thesis. All functions are celebrated in university and different student unions do that part. I don't participate much as I have to go to classes almost every day and complete my assignments.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Not many companies hire freshmen, and also there is racism prevalent. Many different companies are available that offer sponsorship, but you should have experience. They offer mostly around 29000 to 50000 Pounds. You can check on the UK government website for sponsorship companies. New rules have come which require more salary to have sponsorship in the UK.

The college is very cooperative and excellent for business studies.
Tips: I have been more punctual as the assignments have to be submitted on accurate timing. If we are late we fail or have to redo the whole assignment in another topic so we have to prepare it again. I had availed scholarship worth £2,000 every year so I was able to save around £6,000 on my studies.
Likes (Internships): The student life is the best life to live over here. As we get all the facilities and it feels very safe because of excellent security and is highly clean in roadways and has easy transportation. It is easy to reach the campus from anywhere which helps a lot.
Dislikes (Value for money): Best faculty and they are very approachable and easy to handle. You can also get your things done very fast and in an easy manner. The staff is also very understanding and very polite. They try their best to make us understand the whole technical specification.

This is very good university but we have to study on our own and have to attend classes regular
Tips: Students coming here should focus on upgrading basic skills like communication and all. Practice to study on your own and develop research skills as they will definitely be helpful, especially for Masters students. Focus on a particular area in which you have an interest. Make an account on Indeed Application UK.
Likes (Safety): Safety is the most important key here. Everywhere fire sensors and alarms are installed to detect smoke and fire and student safety is of utmost importance. At traffic signals, rules are commonly followed by everyone. Additional NHS services are also good, you can make an appointment at any time.
Dislikes (Internships): In UK, companies are expecting UK experience for internships. Try to focus on acquiring a technical or field job. You can work a part time job, it is easy to find but you have to apply at more places even you can try on Indeed. Indeed is a good option for finding internships and jobs.

A decent university for studies
Tips: I am satisfied with the opportunities provided by my university and it could help in improving my skills and perspective towards life. University outlook is itself impressive when compared to my country and the quality of education and the chance to interact with people around the world.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is very good. It is accessible to everyone. There are many buses and trains. But it's hard to get up very early morning and sleep late at night. Sometimes cancellations are also observed. The cost is high compared to my country but the service is good.
Dislikes (Part time work): Nice experience being a student. Better living conditions and better education. Part-time job finding is the hardest part. The rest of the things are fine. I got better educational facilities and the laboratory is well equipped with all sophisticated instruments. The campus is also quite big and beautiful.

Worthy when utilized properly
Tips: University of Hudd provides a wide range of opportunities but we have to work on our own to catch them and make them successful. We have a wide collection of books in the university library using the resources successfully is in our hands. Career fairs and employability drives are conducted.

Liberal, ample growth opportunities and best learning experience.
Tips: Be prepared for an experience of a lifetime and bring your A-game. Have to be consistent and focused on the lectures, dissertation, and practicals. Attendance is to be kept on priority and timely submissions would help. Also, cultural differences would be one thing that might bother initially but adaptability is the key.
Likes (Value for money): The course is a 1-year course which evidently brings down the study and living costs as compared to other study destinations in Europe. Also, part-time jobs are easily available which helps to cope with costs. I really like the freedom and open opportunities provided in the UK.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Many corporates provide support and assistance for post-study jobs. Companies that offer are from dynamic sectors like pharma, IT, hospitality, and automobile. Average packages would range from anywhere from 40K pounds to 75K pounds. The campus provides job support as well.

Great opportunity to pursue your overseas studies in UK.
Tips: For me, time spent at university is among the best year of our young lives. It's often the time we find ourselves, discover our true passion, leaves our comfort zone and explore new places. Studying in university of Huddersfield gives us a great opportunity to pursue our dream living in UK. Whether it's for few months or a year of your duration of studies, its a great opportunity for all of those who pursue it here. Living here in small and peaceful town gives you the idea to explore and learn many things about the people, its culture and the main thing about the British accent which is probably a top-notch to get and learn from them. Just a last gesture from my view is that come and explore the UK. It's quite beautiful.
