University of Siena has highly knowledgeable faculty.
Tips: Make sure the college offers the program you're interested in and has a solid curriculum aligned with your career goals. Ensure the college has the necessary resources, like labs for science or technology students and libraries with updated materials. Faculty demonstrated a deep understanding of their subject areas, staying updated with the latest research and practical applications, which enriched the learning experience. They were highly approachable and responsive, actively engaging with students and fostering an inclusive environment for questions, feedback, and discussion. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and organizations that cater to various interests, allowing students to engage socially, culturally, and academically. The instructors used a variety of effective teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, whether through lectures, hands-on activities, case studies, or real-world applications.

The law program is stressful but worth it.
Tips: The law program at the University of Vienna is stressful. There is a lot of material to cover, and the exams are difficult. For one exam, you might have to study 1500 pages and then only be asked three questions. If you can't answer even one of the three questions, you fail the exam. Most exams are oral, not written, which means you have less time to think before answering.
Likes (Indian Food): The campus organizes a lot of seminars, workshops, and happy hours. There are also Facebook groups and student get-togethers if you want to connect with other students. In addition, many students form study groups to prepare for exams together and for moral support.
Dislikes (Part time work): The faculty at the University of Vienna is very approachable, and the university is located right in the city center with good public transportation connections. The faculty of law has a unique course program with lots of courses available, including electives in fields you find interesting. Case study is the best method of learning for me.

Diploma in Law - Batch of 2025
Offered by University of Vienna
4.3
The university is really good and faculty are nice and helpful.
Tips: Students should know that if they are taking a course that is not taught in English, they will need German language skills. The transition was easy because I followed all the guidelines. I was able to get a job in a law firm while I was studying. I am very satisfied with my experience at the university. However, it is a college system, so you have to plan your semester yourself.
Likes (Value for money): The University of Vienna is very prestigious and offers a high-quality education at a relatively low cost. It's really much cheaper than in other countries. The fees are approximately 700 Euros per semester for Indian students. You can work while you study, which makes it affordable and not too much of a burden. Other universities are good as well.
Dislikes (Internships): There is no guidance or help in finding one as it is not mandatory for the course. You can work besides studying but you have to find it yourself. Depending on the field it can be easy or difficult to find something as some places require German skills.
