Very limited internship opportunities.
Tips: There is indeed a cultural shift as you come to a new country, because people living here are different as well as the scenarios, so you have to ACT more maturely and smartly. There are no scholarships available. Public transportation in Montreal is quite good as they have buses as well as metro lines going mostly everywhere inside the city as well as stretch out little. Frequencies for transportation are also good around 15 - 20 minutes inside the city area. Also, the cost of transportation is also quite low and affordable. In Montreal, it can be hard to find part-time jobs if you don't speak French. Many workplaces prefer bilingual employees, so it helps to have French-speaking skills if you want a customer-facing role. You can find warehouse and food-packaging work as a non-French speaker, but securing a customer service or sales position might be challenging. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

Lasalle Montreal College has a friendly environment.
Tips: It's a nice college that helps you to complete your studies as soon as possible. Classes are 5 days a week, it helps you complete study hours on a fast track. This college has a good reputation so getting a work permit after studies is easy as compared to other colleges.

Lasalle college in terms of academics is excellent providing great knowledge and opportunities.
Tips: In order to see myself transition well I made sure I got familiar with the curriculum and engaged myself in understanding the academic side of it as effectively as possible. Try making some friends I would say. I did not avail of any scholarships. I am not sure if there were any scholarships up for grabs. It was an intense program of study at Lasalle College which provided us with the necessary skills and knowledge for me to join the industry and allowed me to do well from day 1. Overall, I am fully satisfied with the courses I took at the college.
Likes (Part time work): There are way more options in off campus jobs versus on campus jobs as Lasalle despite being an excellent school for studies and is not a huge campus. Managing work is hard if you’re attending school 5 days a week.
Average part time payout: 400$ weekly.
Dislikes (Internships): As a general thing, not much help is to be expected from the school in terms of getting an internship. Any school for that matter in Canada I would say. Students have to build a network on their own and only expect a little help from the school they attend.
There are relevant internships available.
