Student Visa Cost for France
There are different types of student visas for France, a ‘Schengen’ short-stay student visa' - is valid for three months, a Visa de long séjour temporaire pour etudes (temporary long-stay visa) - is valid for studying in France for between three and six months without the need for a residence permit and the Visa de long séjour etudes (long-stay visa) is a long term stay.
Candidates looking to study for an MBA in France would have to apply for the Visa de long séjour etudes (long-stay visa). Candidates who are looking to study for longer than six months are required to apply for this French Study Visa. This type of study visa lasts for the duration of your course in France i.e. three years for a bachelor's, two years for a master's, and four years for a PhD. Long-stay visas act as residence permits and are called VLT-TS.
Submission of Visa applications and collection of passports can be done only by the applicant himself or through a travel agency authorized by the Embassy of France, New Delhi. French Student Visa has two distinct stages of application. One at the Campus France and the other at the embassy. The set of documents can vary for both of them. You would be required to submit originals at Campus France and Photo-copies at the embassy/ consulate/ Visa Application Centres. MBA Requirements for France
Almost all French universities offer online applications along with a complete set of documents. International students must meet the MBA in France admission requirements to study the program. The basic requirements for admission that are common to all French universities are:
- Undergraduate degree: A bachelor's degree in any field is usually required
- Work experience: Most programs prefer candidates with at least two to three years of work experience
- English proficiency: IELTS or TOEFL scores are typically needed
- GMAT or GRE: Competitive scores in these standardized tests are essential.
Work Permit after studying MBA in France
Simply put, students who are planning to take up small and short-term courses in France cannot stay in France. Only students who are taking up long-term courses like bachelor's and master's and have a Visa de Long Sejour Etudes or Long Stay Study Visa for France get permission to stay in the country after completing the course.
For master’s students, however, there is good news. While bachelor's degree holders can stay on only if they have a work permit, the students pursuing master's from France get an added advantage. Upon completing the master’s course, a student can apply for and get a temporary residence permit – APS, for 24 months. What is important to understand is that this extended residence permit allows a student only to take up part-time employment of up to 964 hours – as allowed to students already studying in French Universities.

- Ile-de-France Masters Scholarships: A Masters scholarship provided by the Regional Council of Île-de-France to foreign students seeking admission to higher education institutions in the Île-de-France. - The Eiffel Scholarship: A program, developed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, under which reputed French universities can apply.
