An average university with basic infrastructure.
Tips: I moved to Berlin from India, and the transition was seamless. I adapted readily, but I did not secure any campus scholarships, primarily due to insufficient preliminary research. While I am satisfied with the basic infrastructure, I am dissatisfied with the support system. Communication is limited to email, which precludes in-person meetings. Throughout my time here, I have consistently felt safe and secure, thanks to the comprehensive and well-executed security protocols in place. The presence of security personnel is both reassuring and effective. The guards are always visible, approachable, and professional, which significantly contributes to a secure environment. Their regular patrols and quick response times to any incidents ensure that any potential threats are swiftly addressed. The campus is equipped with a robust surveillance system. The strategically placed cameras cover all critical areas, including entrances, exits, and common spaces. This not only acts as a deterrent to any malicious activities but also provides a reliable means of monitoring and reviewing any incidents that may occur.
Dislikes (Internships): Until now, I have not received any internship offers from the college, which has been a significant disappointment. The lack of support and guidance regarding job and internship opportunities is evident. Despite numerous inquiries, the response from the college staff has been consistently unhelpful and vague. It seems there is no structured system to assist students in securing internships or jobs, which is a critical aspect of our education and future careers. The career services department appears to be effective and disorganized. No workshops, seminars, or information sessions to help students prepare for the job market. The absence of networking events or connections with industry professionals further exacerbates the issue. When we sought advice or information, the staff either did not have the answers or provided outdated and irrelevant information.

Everything is perfect. The university is located at a prime location.
Tips: Before joining this college, students must learn German, which is essential for networking. The professors are very friendly and are always willing to help. They are very good at solving problems on campus and online. I was in an accident on campus and they were very helpful in getting me the help I needed.
Likes (Part time work): Everything at IU International University of Applied Sciences is excellent, and I've seen excellent service. The only drawback for international students is that they must learn German because some people face problems after graduation.

M.A. International Management (MIM) - Batch of 2025

The university is only focusing on making money rather than supporting students.
Tips: 95% of the students are from India, so it always feels like home, the university only gives benefits to going to Germany. The professors are not permanent and come on an hourly basis, so they don't have any idea about anything. There was a lack of internship opportunities on campus. Internships are crucial for gaining practical experience, and colleges should collaborate with companies to enhance student's skills and career prospects. Overall, I am not satisfied with my experiences here.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian restaurants and stores in the area, and you can find food from every state in India. The food is a bit expensive, but you can afford to eat out at least once a month. You can also order Indian groceries and food online.

B.Sc. Computer Science - Batch of 2026

IU isn’t worth paying so high tuition fees so choose your university/college wisely.
Tips: The tuition fees at IU are very high, and students need to work off their assets to pay for them. This leaves little time to concentrate on studies. In addition, the university faculty doesn't provide any support in finding internships, which makes things even harder. Even after completing your degree, you will face problems in getting a full-time job.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation in Hamburg is excellent. The city is well connected, and having an amazing transportation system adds to its appeal. Buses and trains are usually on time and well maintained. Most railway stations have washrooms, which is a nice convenience.

MBA in International Marketing - Batch of 2023
4.7
The coursework is great for an MBA.
Tips: Before you decide to join, it's essential to commit ample time to your studies and ensure that you can work efficiently. Participation in this endeavour requires a serious approach. It should not be treated lightly. Furthermore, be prepared to immerse yourself in the German language, as language proficiency will play a vital role in your success.
Likes (Safety): Germany stands out as an exceptionally secure place, offering a welcoming environment for both men and women. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to visit and experience the warmth and safety that Germany has to offer.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The experience is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. One of the standout features is the flexibility offered and everything is tailored to meet your specific needs and preferences. Additionally, the services are budget-friendly, making it a great option for anyone looking to manage costs without sacrificing quality.

MBA in IT Management (Online) - Batch of 2025
3
Involves a perfect blend of study-life balance.
Tips: There was a cultural shift coming from an Asian country. I am looking for a scholarship in my field of study as Germany offers many scholarships in various areas. The course offers flexibility to manage work and study. I can very well balance my studies with a part-time job.
Likes (Safety): Campus security is good and the environment is safe for students. There are many places to visit in the city which I am still exploring. Also, a number of activities are available for relation. Try to avoid staying late at night as it can be dangerous anywhere in the world.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food and taste are average for the price we pay. That's why I avoid eating out as it doesn't provide the same taste as our home country. However, the desert options are ample which is awesome. I prefer eating outside only on special occasions or celebrations with friends.
