BE Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering - Batch of 2020
4.3
Great practical experience provided during the programme.
Tips: STEM courses are pretty demanding in terms of self study. Please don’t expect really high grades unless you put in high number of hours outside of recommended time. Sports facilities are among the best that you can experience and try on. Food is expensive and not worth buying so self cooking is highly recommended if you would like to save some money. Plenty of post study opportunities are available both on-campus and off-campus.
Likes (Safety): Dublin in general is pretty safe. Although it’s recommended not to travel to certain places during late hours. Certain areas such as North and West are not recommended during night time. If you have any problem you can report it to nearby Police station, however for petty crimes Garda won’t take any action.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Food options are alright. Just don’t expect to have an authentic food experience. Self cooking is highly recommended if you would like to maintain your health or if you’re a vegetarian. Eating out can get really expensive as a meal for two can cost around €40 on average.
