Apply for Commonwealth Shared Scholarship: Students belonging to developing countries can apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, who otherwise would not be able to study in the UK. The scholarship is jointly supported by universities in the UK for pursuing their Master's.

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship is aimed at contributing to the development needs of Commonwealth countries by providing training for skilled and qualified professionals and academics who would not otherwise have been able to study in the UK.

Eligibility guidelines for the scholarship include high-quality postgraduate students who have not studied extensively overseas before, who would not otherwise have the opportunity to study in the UK, and who have the potential to enhance the development of their home countries with the knowledge and leadership skills they acquire.

The scholarship entitles applicants to approved airfare from their home country to the UK and return at the end of the award, approved tuition and examination fees, Stipend (living allowance) at the rate of £1,110 per month, Thesis grant towards the cost of preparing a thesis or dissertation, where applicable, Warm clothing allowance, where applicable and study travel grant towards the costs of study-related travel within the UK or overseas.








Students applying for the scholarship are required to be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person, permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country, not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a developed country, and be unable, either yourself or through your family, to pay to study in the UK.
