The scholarships for international students at the University of Luxembourg are quite limited, and they are awarded on the basis of merit mostly.
International students can avail of all these scholarships at the University of Luxembourg for the Engineering stream:
Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship
The Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Research and Higher Education funds a talent support program, the Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship, to attract high-achieving international students who wish to enroll in a Master’s program at the University of Luxembourg.
The amount that will be given on the basis of this scholarship, will be EUR 10,000(INR 9 L) per academic year, from which students can easily pay the tuition fee, accommodation expenses, and other miscellaneous expenses.
This Scholarship is given to only 30 students a year.
Eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned scholarship:
- International applicants from both EU and non-EU countries applying for a Master’s degree
- Only available for Master's program that runs their two-year program in Luxembourg. Master program that have a mandatory semester or year abroad are not eligible.
- Excellent academic performance during undergraduate studies
- Fulltime students
- Non-beneficiaries of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education (formerly CEDIES)

Portabella Scholarship
Portabella Scholarship at the University of Luxembourg is offered at both levels UG and PG to the students who are facing financial issues. The amount in this scholarship is not disclosed, so it varies. This scholarship can only be given to 4 students a year.
