Study in Singapore: 8 students get selected for Global Citizen Scholarship!

Global Indian International School offers a Global Citizen Scholarship to outstanding students and provides them an opportunity to study in Singapore for two years.

Study Abroad: Global Indian International School (GIIS) has awarded eight Indian students and five students from other South Asia countries the Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS). Under this scholarship, the selected outstanding students will get a chance to study in Singapore for two years. Moreover, the scholarships are for two years of studies in Bangalore for which GIIS selected four students.

Mr. Pramod Tripathi, Director-Academics, Global Indian International School said to the selected students and their parents, “We would like to congratulate all the scholars and their parents, for becoming part of the prestigious program. We are hopeful that the coming two years will be instrumental in transforming each student’s life and entail a lasting impact on the future. It will help in unlocking numerous new opportunities for professional & personal growth."

Global Citizen Scholarship Details

The selected candidates were chosen from a rigorous selection process comprising entrance examinations and interviews. They were selected from a total of 5000 students who had shown interest in getting this scholarship. The students will now be sent to Singapore and they will study there for the next two years at GIIS SMART Campus. The total amount funded by the scholarship will be 1,00,00,000 for 2 years per student which includes tuition fees, boarding, lodging and generous stipend. The student will get a chance to choose from CBSE or IBDP curricula.

Global Citizen Scholarship alumni received admission in graduate courses in reputed global universities including - Singapore Management University, University of Melbourne, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania, University of British Columbia, University College London (UCL), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National University of Singapore, and Imperial College London.
