Study in US: Apply for Fung Global Fellows Program
Under this program, early-career scholars, who completed their PhD or equivalent, will be appointed at the rank of Visiting Research Scholar.
Princeton Institute of International and Regional Studies invited applications for the Fung Global Fellows Program. The application deadline is November 15, 2024. The application for this program will become active in early September 2024.
The program is open to early-career scholars. They will be appointed at the rank of Visiting Research Scholar. To be eligible the candidates must have completed PhD, hold a professional research appointment, faculty appointment, or be established independent scholars in their country.
All qualified applicants will be considered irrespective of their race, color, age, sex, religion, sexual orientation, expression or gender identity.
"Fellowships will be awarded to candidates who have already demonstrated outstanding scholarly achievement and exhibit unusual intellectual promise but are still at the beginning of their careers. Criteria for the fellowship include the strength of the candidate’s research projects, the relationship of those projects to the program’s theme, the candidate’s previous scholarly work, the candidate’s ability to contribute to the intellectual life and intellectual exchange of the program, and the candidate’s work experience outside the United States. The selection committee is looking to establish a cohort of fellows whose work represents diverse analytical approaches and disciplinary backgrounds and addresses a wide variety of regions,” reads the official statement.

The following documents are needed for the program:
- Cover letter
- Application
- Curriculum Vitae
- One writing sample
- Names and email addresses of 3 referees
- Research proposal
- Official letter from applicant's current employer (if applicable)
The selected candidates will be notified by early-to-mid February 2025.
“Only applications submitted through Princeton University’s online portal will be considered. The Fung Global Fellows Program cannot accept mailed, faxed, or emailed applications,” added the official statement.
Undergraduate prizes awarded to six students for academic achievement
Princeton University awarded undergraduate prizes to six students to acknowledge their academic accomplishments.
Dean of the College Michael D. Gordin said, “I’m honored to be able to celebrate this year’s prize winners. While Princeton is fortunate to be home to a good many students who are justly proud of their exceptional records of accomplishment, these prize winners stand out.”
