University Of Montana Offers Graduate Assistantships

Study in US: The University Of Montana's College of Business offers Graduate Assistantships programs each academic year to individuals who meet the position requirements and complete the formal application process.

The graduate assistantship offers tuition support and a stipend of $5,000 per semester. The work responsibilities include 20 hours per week for assigned faculty members. The students must have a good academic standing and a minimum of 6 credits per semester.

"One assistantship is reserved and funded for a Native American student. To qualify, in addition to the qualifications listed above, the candidate must be an enrolled member of a Native American tribe," reads the official statement.

Entry Requirements For Graduate Assistantships

Following are the eligibility requirements for the Graduate Assistantships at the University Of Montana USA:

  • The applicants must have an outstanding academic record.
  • They should have applied and been admitted to the College of Business Graduate Program by the February 1, 2025 deadline.
  • The applications for the assistantship should be submitted by March 1, 2025.
  • They must have related experience based on business school requirements.

McWhinney Emerging Leaders Fellowship

The scholarship application can be submitted between December 1, 2024, and March 1, 2025, for the 2025/2026 academic year.








"The McWhinney Emerging Leaders Fellowship nurtures promising business students engaged in internships to enhance their academic journey and foster professional growth. Recipients of this fellowship can utilize the awards for various expenses such as tuition, housing, transportation, and other associated costs for their summer internship. We strongly encourage students engaged in both in-person and remote internships to take advantage of this opportunity," says the official statement.







The selected fellows will get to engage in networking and they will also attend Deborah McWhinney's mentoring sessions. She is a graduate of the University of Montana graduate who built a career as a C-Suite executive for companies including Charles Schwab, Inc., Bank of America, Citigroup, and Engage Media.

The university offers Master of Accountancy (MAcct), MBA, and Master of Science in Business Analytics courses. While studying at this university students get experimental learning experience and study abroad opportunities.
