University Of Sheffield Announces GREAT Scholarships 2025 - India Worth £12,500

British Council is offering a total of 26 GREAT Scholarships 2025 across various subjects including Humanities, Law and STEM. The Council is offering the GREAT Scholarships 2025 in partnership with the 72 UK universities.

Study in UK: The University of Sheffield has announced GREAT Scholarships 2025 - India in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign. The scholarship is worth £12,500 and it is open to Indian students applying for the postgraduate taught courses.

The last date to apply for the GREAT Scholarships 2025 is May 12, 2025, by 1 pm UK time and the results will be announced by June 11, 2025. After the applicants receive their offer, they need to use their login details to access the application form.

The candidates who will be offered this scholarship will require to confirm the acceptance by a fixed date.

"The GREAT Scholarships 2025 programme, launched by the British Council together with 72 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, Greece, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam to access world-class UK higher education opportunities," reads the university statement.

Eligibility Criteria For GREAT Scholarships 2025 - India

The following are the eligibility requirements of the scholarship program:

• The applicant should be a current resident of India and a passport holder.
• The program to which they have applied should start in Autumn 2025.
• They should have received an offer for the full-time course from the university.
• The applicant should be classified as self-funded for tuition fee purposes.
• They should not be a sponsored student.
• Part-time and distance learning students cannot apply for the GREAT Scholarship.
• Those who have applied for the master's programmes split between the university and a partner institution are not eligible to apply for the GREAT Scholarships 2025 - India.

The GREAT Scholarship 2025 cannot be awarded in combination with the following scholarships - International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025, International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarship 2025, MBA Scholarship 2025, Professor David Locker Scholarship in Social Science, Oral Health and Dentistry 2025, and NCUK Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2025.
