US Recognises Various Universities With Postsecondary Success Recognition Program
The Postsecondary Success Recognition Program is to recognize the institutes of higher education which are facilitating successful student transfers and completions, enrolling underserved student populations, and equipping graduates for careers that lead to economic mobility.
Study in US: The US Department of Education announced the winners of the first-ever Postsecondary Success Recognition Program (PSRP). There are a total of six colleges and universities honoured with PSRP. All these are cross-sections of institutions with diverse missions, communities and student populations. These institutes are located across the urban, suburban and rural areas across the country.
The 2025 Postsecondary Success Recognition Program winners among the institutes which mostly grant bachelor's degrees are - University of South Carolina – Upstate, San Jose State University, and University of Texas at Arlington. 2025 Postsecondary Success Recognition Program winners among institutes which mainly grant certificate and associate degrees are - Salish Kootenai College (Montana), Miami Dade College (Florida), and CUNY Hostos Community College (New York).
“By creating more opportunities for valuable college degrees for underserved student populations, the winners of this program set a new standard for excellence in higher education," said Under Secretary of Education James Kvaal.
